Chapter 356: Someone Kidnapped Peach Bell

Chapter 356: Someone Kidnapped Peach Bell

After leaving the first hotel, the car gradually picked up speed.

Jasper Sinclair pulled out a gold foil cigarette box, the paper lid popped open effortlessly, and a cigarette, along with a metal lighter, slid out.

The cigarette was caught at the corner of his lips, he bowed his head to light it.

Louis Hayes saw the boss take a puff, and spoke as if casually chatting, "President Sinclair, you haven’t smoked in a long time."

He once thought the Boss had quit smoking.

"Nora doesn’t like the smell of smoke."

Jasper Sinclair said as he flicked some ash off the cigarette.

Then, he took out his phone from his pocket and slowly typed a line: Peach Bell has been kidnapped.

The recipient was Nora Northwood.

His thin lips held the cigarette, his other free hand rested on his knee, and his gaze lingered on the chat interface, with mist swirling between his brows, obscuring certain longing.

When the cigarette came to an end, the butt was pinched out in the car ashtray, Jasper Sinclair tugged at his tie, feeling dry and thirsty.

"Lower the window."

Soon, the vehicle came to a steady stop at a villa cluster in the suburbs.

This was where Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair lived during their lifetime, a detached house with great privacy, and according to investigations, several famous movie stars also lived here.

Jasper Sinclair came all the way from Avalon Airport straight to the hotel, with the purpose of hiding the true destination.

A small three-story building, very typical of Australian architecture.

Entering the arched door, Jasper Sinclair asked, "Still no clues on Peach Bell’s whereabouts?"

Louis Hayes lowered his head, "No."

"This efficiency." Saying this, Jasper Sinclair paused for a moment, "I’m not paying a high price to hire a bunch of useless people."

"If there’s no news by nightfall, we’ll contact Melbourne’s police."

Jasper Sinclair grew up in a business family, always amidst various incidents.

If it wasn’t a child from this family being kidnapped, it was a grandchild from that family being taken hostage.

Grandma Sinclair, due to white-haired sending off black-haired people, paid extreme attention and care to Jasper Sinclair, from the time he could remember, there were always bodyguards around him.

Later, because of Nora Northwood, he let the accompanying bodyguards hide in the shadows, never appearing unless absolutely necessary.

Five hours had passed since Peach Bell’s disappearance, and Jasper Sinclair was starting to feel restless.

He typed three digits on the dial pad: 110.

In the moment of dialing, his thumb hovered over the top of the screen, he forgot that this wasn’t the mainland, but Melbourne.

Jasper Sinclair’s expression turned slightly grave, he asked, "Do you know Melbourne’s emergency number?"

This small issue certainly wouldn’t trouble Louis Hayes.

As a qualified assistant who often flew nationwide with the Boss, he always kept the emergency numbers of every region memorized.

"Triple zero."

Just as Jasper Sinclair was about to dial, the ringtone of another phone in the room sounded, it was from the team sent out to rescue.

Louis Hayes turned the screen towards the person opposite, took a deep breath, and said, "There should be news on Peach Bell’s whereabouts."

Jasper Sinclair signaled him to answer.

Speakerphone engaged, the voice on the other end said, "We’ve already tracked Ms. Bell’s location, at an abandoned warehouse in the Southmoor District, conducting a safety check."

Upon hearing this, Jasper Sinclair’s expression sank to its lowest point, the emotions in his eyes mirrored it.

Louis Hayes responded on the call, "Ensure Ms. Bell’s safety."

He knew what the boss cared about the most.

After the call ended, without waiting for Jasper Sinclair to speak again, he directly asked, "How far is the Southmoor District from here?"
