Chapter 302: I’m Jealous
Chapter 302: I’m Jealous
When returning to the hotel, Jasper Sinclair and Nora Northwood took the lead.
Here, they encountered another acquaintance.
"Nora, I’ve prepared thoroughly for this competition, and I definitely won’t lose to you again!"
Yuna Hughes lifted her chin, looking incredibly proud, reminiscent of the teacher’s favorite back in school days.
In fact, Nora didn’t understand why Yuna held such hostility towards her.
Moreover, she never thought of defeating or losing to anyone.
She sighed softly, her gentle voice speaking, "Miss Hughes, I’ve never thought of competing with you, so there’s no question of winning or losing between us."
This was the most genuine thought in her heart.
"You took my mentor and even Senior Vincent Morgan from me. I must prove to everyone that my abilities are not inferior to yours. I want them all to regret it!"
Yuna’s speech grew faster, and Jasper Sinclair listened to the phrase "took Senior Morgan" with increasing displeasure.
He interrupted Nora’s attempt to speak, "Both Elaine and Vincent are individuals with their own personas; there’s no such thing as taking them away. If it weren’t for your excessive actions, no one would have abandoned you."
As Jasper said this, Elaine and Vincent happened to return to the hotel.
Vincent understood the disposition of this junior sister well; she had the classic spoiled brat demeanor, belonging to the type that was difficult regardless of being right or wrong.
Stepping forward, he spoke on Nora’s behalf, "We have to rush to the competition venue early tomorrow. Everyone should head back to their rooms and rest early. Yuna, I hope you won’t always enjoy making things difficult for others like before."
Yuna felt a sense of melancholy upon hearing Vincent speak, as he was someone she had liked in the past.
"Senior Morgan, how can you take others’ side against me!" She stomped her foot, expressing her displeasure.
Vincent displayed a sense of detachment, "We are no longer in the same sect. You should just call me by my name."
"Vincent, you’re too much." With those words, Yuna ran off, heartbroken.
Leaving the rest standing there, looking at one another.
Elaine spoke, "I hope Yuna didn’t cause you any trouble. If she did, I’ll apologize on her behalf."
After all, Yuna was her former disciple, and she didn’t want things to become too tense.
"Not at all, Aunt Hutchinson."
After returning to the room.
Jasper Sinclair didn’t wait to turn on the lights and embraced Nora Northwood.
"Honey, don’t talk too much to other men."
Nora knew precisely who he was referring to.
"Are you jealous?"
"Jealous, honey." Jasper’s voice nearly overflowed with tenderness.
Nora teased him playfully, with a hint of sarcasm, "When you were on business trips with other women, I didn’t say anything."
At those words, Jasper felt a pang in his heart, "That matter is past, let’s not mention it."
He was afraid Nora would become upset again, affecting her competition state.
Suddenly, he pressed his lips to Nora’s, kissing her intensely, partly to divert her attention.
Nora’s lipstick smudged, and Jasper’s lips inevitably also picked up some color.
She pouted, "Annoying."
The sultry tone caused a tingling sensation in Jasper’s heart.
Then, the scent of male hormones washed over her again, from forehead to lips, all the way down to the collarbone area.
