Chapter 257: Strength Plummets
Chapter 257: Strength Plummets
A closed meeting room.
Aaron Lowell’s shoulders slumped slightly as he said, "Nora, I’m sorry to inform you that my subcontract factory can no longer continue cooperating with VK."
Nora paused for a moment, hesitating as she said, "Did the factory encounter any issues?"
"No, VK, under your leadership, has been developing exceptionally well, and the number of orders is exponentially increasing. Our factory’s scale hasn’t changed, though business operations have returned to normal. In terms of strength, it has long declined, not as perfect as it appears."
After Aaron’s explanation, Nora largely understood, realizing the changes VK had made since its inception.
Thus, VK officially ended its partnership with Oceanic Inc.
During their conversation, Jasper Sinclair interjected, saying, "I can help you with the factory issue."
At that moment, Nora suddenly took out her phone, showing a photo from several months ago.
"Several months ago, someone approached me, saying that a subsidiary under The Sinclair Group could help with processing and promotion. Was this your idea?" she asked Jasper Sinclair.
Jasper glanced at the screen’s content, which was a card information.
With an empty fist held near his lips, he coughed a few times and admitted, "Yes, the situation was complicated then. I wanted to help you but couldn’t directly intervene."
"I don’t want VK to rely on The Sinclair Group. I hope it remains an independent brand."
Back then, this difference was why Nora chose not to cooperate with The Sinclair Group’s subsidiary.
This time, Jasper made the decision for her: "The Sinclair Group’s factory can cooperate with VK, producing materials and aromatherapy for you. We only need to sign a cooperation contract; VK remains VK, nothing changes."
After careful consideration, Nora realized that Jasper’s proposal was the only solution to her dilemma.
Nora understood the importance of the situation.
If she continued to refuse cooperation and delayed subsequent orders, it would affect more than just the revenue.
Strangely, she felt a bit like being pushed into a situation.
She agreed, saying, "This is the only option now. I hope for a pleasant collaboration with President Sinclair." As she spoke, she extended her hand.
Jasper cooperated, shaking hands with her, but did not let go.
With the matter settled, the group headed out. Nora decided to take time to explain the decision to the rest of VK.
Clearly, VK wasn’t hers alone.
Moreover, she never considered herself the true boss. Without the support and encouragement from Lily Sloan and others, she wouldn’t have reached her current status.
To Nora, VK was the result of the collective effort of five people.
Due to an overwhelming response on the event day, the dinner gathering was postponed.
Once the market closed, everyone returned to their homes.
On the way back to Southwood Court, Nora suddenly looked seriously at Jasper.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Do you want to thank me?"
Nora chuckled, "Indeed, I want to thank you, Jasper."
Subsequently, Jasper’s gaze wandered around her a bit, and he said solemnly, "I’m glad you finally accepted my help."
"I’m also glad you didn’t just give me money, but signed a regular contract, respecting all my choices."
In the past, Nora didn’t refuse Jasper’s help; what she rejected was the undeserved windfall.
