Chapter 800 - 799: Young Master Peary Furiously Threw and Rolled

Nia Mitchell was dumbstruck, not expecting Aldy Mitchell to say such a thing.Instantly, she felt completely torn.

Seeing Nia didn’t respond, Aldy Mitchell struggled again, trying to get out of bed.

"Alright, alright, I agree. I’ll go back with you all," Nia Mitchell’s voice, tinged with tears, was heard, followed by a flurry of footsteps.

BANG!

The ward door slammed shut.

The room fell silent. Maxwell Peary’s figure was gone.

Suddenly, Nia Mitchell felt as if all her strength had drained away, and she slumped to the floor.

"Sis?!" Aldy Mitchell cried out, seeing her state, and reached out to grab her.

Her father quickly walked over, but before he could bend down, Molly Harguez had already helped Nia to her feet.

"Don’t bend down, and don’t exert yourself. Your wound hasn’t fully healed yet," Molly Harguez said to Nia’s father, her brow furrowed and her tone reproachful. She then shifted her gaze to Nia Mitchell.

"You’re such a fool! Don’t you even know if you’re married or not?" Molly Harguez immediately began to berate her.

"Mom, please don’t scold Sis anymore," Aldy Mitchell interjected, not wanting Nia Mitchell to face more blame at a time like this. "Young Master Peary’s influence is so vast, so formidable; if he wanted to deceive Sis, he would have definitely made thorough preparations."

Nia Mitchell must have been feeling awful; anyone could tell just by looking at her expression.

"I’m fine," Nia Mitchell murmured, then turned to look at the closed ward door.

He must be angry, she thought. At a time like this, she hadn’t stood by his side. He must be absolutely furious.

Nia Mitchell said nothing more. She just sat there, her face etched with sorrow.

"Dad, Brother, he’s not that kind of person," Nia Mitchell said. "I think something must have happened. Perhaps he’ll resolve it quickly."

Nia Mitchell firmly believed this. Who was Maxwell Peary? A man whose brilliant decisions, by his own account, were beyond anyone’s comprehension. Not to mention his current accomplishments—the name Maxwell Peary itself was a symbol of invincibility.

Nia Mitchell chose to wait at the hospital. She believed in Maxwell Peary.

After Maxwell Peary left, he went directly to Madgar Pavilion.

Silvia Waterborne, an influential figure in the entertainment circle, naturally paid close attention to the media. Thus, she saw the news the moment it broke.

"Ah? That can’t be true!" Evelyn Peary exclaimed. She simply couldn’t believe what she was seeing; it felt like a wild fantasy. How could her older brother marry Belinda Swan? Even though there had been so much news and countless rumors about them before, she had always thought it was fake. Even when Belinda Swan went abroad, she never believed any of it. The only thing she knew for sure was that her older brother had some ambiguous history with Anne Davidson. But what on earth was this marriage certificate about now?

"I’ll look into it," Silvia Waterborne said, frowning. She picked up her phone and called a friend. A short while later, she received an answer.

"It’s been confirmed by the Civil Affairs Bureau. It’s real."

The marriage was registered at the Civil Affairs Bureau. They were truly married.

But... Good heavens, this was too unbelievable! Silvia thought.

"This couldn’t have been something Older Brother agreed to, could it?" Evelyn Peary burst out. "It’s too ridiculous! And didn’t they say they were going to have dinner with Sister-in-law’s family tonight?"

Although Silvia Waterborne wasn’t planning to show her face, this was still a significant moment.
