Fairy, Don't Be Afraid, I Am Blind

Chapter 130 - 108: Third Elder (Part 2)

Chapter 130 - 108: Third Elder (Part 2)

The minor elders are all named after their surnames or code names, only the grand elders can have numbers prefixed to their elder names. The Third Elder is one of them. She is the Peak Master of Bihua Peak, proficient in spirit plant skills, possessing a most distinguished status, even the Sect Leader’s true disciples from Xuanshao Peak must pay respects when they see her.

You Su was ready to pay respects in the same direction as his senior sister, but suddenly felt something was not right.

Though his vision was blurry, he could slightly see, but in that direction not only did his divine sense not detect anyone, but his eyes did not see a silhouette either.

Is the Third Elder really in this direction? Or is she still here? Obviously, this is deliberate on the other party’s part. If he really pays respects to an empty place, he might greatly diminish his impression in the Third Elder’s mind.

You Su fully opened his divine sense, suddenly turned around, and paid respects to the peach tree, saying:

"You Su greets the Third Elder."

"Interesting."

A suddenly pleasant and mature sound arose in the air, and even Fairy Wangshu turned to look.

Next to the peach tree, a woman in a spring shirt suddenly appeared, not standing but casually leaning against the peach tree and sitting on the ground. She was sideways to the two, her proud chest even more apparent, complemented with the spring shirt wrapping her fragrant curves tautly. Her skirt slightly disturbed, exposing calves as white as mutton jade.

The Third Elder shook the delicate clear gourd in her hand, and the wine in the gourd swayed:

"How did you figure it out?"

You Su knew what the Third Elder meant, respectfully replied toward the owner of the voice:

"By the divine sense."

The Third Elder heard this, swept You Su with a glance of peach blossom eyes, disdainfully spoke: "Do not talk nonsense, could your mere Spirit Platform Realm divine sense, even if strong, detect a Void Realm deliberately hiding?"

"It was the Third Elder’s deliberate hint, the fallen leaves on the ground were bent by sitting on them."

"Really blind."

An invisible force lifted the Third Elder’s ripe body upright. She stood straight, her gaze smiling warmly at You Su’s clear eyes: "My body is light and soft, it wasn’t me who bent those leaves, it was this wine gourd of mine."

"It was my poor eyesight, ask for the Third Elder’s forgiveness."

The Third Elder glanced at the handsome youth without sparing any admiration from her eyes.

"Are you the new disciple Lotus Sword Venerable accepted, You Su?"

As soon as the words fell, in You Su’s Sea of Consciousness, the Third Elder’s form appeared, a humanoid surrounded by cyan mist, unclear.

You Su noticed that, although the mist shrouding the Third Elder was the same as Master’s, there was a black spot more in Master’s fog...

You Su was confused and hurriedly replied:

"Reporting to the Third Elder, I am indeed."

"Go down the mountain then."

The Third Elder spoke flatly, then raised her head high, as the aromatic wine flowed down the gourd wall to her red lips, stunningly good-looking.

You Su furrowed his brow, unsure of what mistake he made to be chased away by the Third Elder, thus asked:

"What does the Third Elder mean?"

"Since you are Lotus Peak’s true disciple, you are a member of the Profound Sky Sect. Why not go to the hall to report? You want to remain haunting Lotus Peak like a lonely ghost?"

"I..."

You Su indeed felt wronged; no one told him that joining the sect required reporting. Thinking about it, too, Zhongyuan Continent’s largest sect, isn’t something you simply join?

"Why don’t I need to?" Fairy Wangshu inquired suspiciously.

"You were born in the Profound Sky Sect, what need is there to report? In this sect, there is only you." The Third Elder looked pamperingly at Fairy Wangshu, then saw You Su still in place, "How, still need me to personally send you?"

"The Third Elder speaks too heavily, I will go right away."

You Su pretended to retreat, his hesitation remained due to his confusion about the path down the mountain.

After all, he is only a blind person, previously able to walk around Chuyun City freely, that was because he had traversed those pathways countless times. Here on Lotus Peak, though his divine sense was stronger than before, yet didn’t even know where the way down was.

When he hesitated, Fairy Wangshu had already reached his side, softly said: "I will go with junior brother."

You Su felt like warm currents flowed through his heart, grateful for having an elder sister.

The Third Elder behind them yelled: "Little Wangshu, what trouble are you causing? Don’t want to listen to my lessons?"

You Su remembered the Third Elder was still there, such a distinguished guest couldn’t have come merely for reminding You Su to report. Turns out she was there to teach the elder sister.

Before You Su could persuade his elder sister to stay on the mountain, Fairy Wangshu had bluntly replied:

"Third Elder, I won’t listen."

The Third Elder was slightly surprised, her impression of Fairy Wangshu had always been of an obedient child. Though she disliked the icy cold Lotus Sword Venerable, she liked his only disciple tight, wished Fairy Wangshu would change to her tutelage.

During the eight years Elder Thirteen left the sect, it was her who ascended the mountain to teach Fairy Wangshu most frequently. Fairy Wangshu listened attentively every time and never missed a session, though unexpectedly this time she rejected her for a newly admitted junior brother.

Having her "love" snatched by You Su, the Third Elder somewhat felt aggrieved, she was only teasing by telling little Wangshu why Elder Thirteen didn’t leave a junior brother for her, unexpectedly the cold woman truly brought back a male disciple.

"Little Wangshu, wasn’t it you who wanted to learn how to cultivate peach trees better? If you don’t attend the lesson, you won’t learn well." The Third Elder persisted, almost coaxing like a child.

"Elder sister..." You Su also advised.

"Third Elder, my Master already returned." The blue-eyed girl sincerely reminded.

Upon Lotus Sword Venerable’s return, the grand elders no longer had the duty to continue teaching Fairy Wangshu.

The Third Elder raised her delicate brow, took another sip of her wine then glared fiercely at You Su, but Fairy Wangshu stepped out, shielding You Su from sight.

"Fine, fine, sacrificing for a junior brother not even listening to my lessons. Fine, if you wish to go, go, I won’t stop you."

Fairy Wangshu gave thanks, ignoring the Third Elder’s spiteful glances, directly turned to descend the mountain.

"Junior brother, let’s go."

You Su hesitated in place, thinking if leaving a grand elder alone on the mountain is appropriate? But Fairy Wangshu was already far ahead, You Su had no choice but to thank the Third Elder and hurriedly caught up.

You Su moved closer, quietly asked: "Elder sister, the Third Elder..."

"Junior brother need not worry, the Third Elder is not angry."

Fairy Wangshu, possessing innate purity, with a pure heart, keenly sensing others’ emotions.

She deliberately slowed her pace, waiting for You Su to walk beside her, then said: "Moreover, the Third Elder isn’t here for me, she is here for the Master."

Upon hearing this, You Su suddenly realized, abruptly feeling a chilly, soft touch in his hand, he promptly withdrew his hand, startled:

"Elder sister, why are you holding my hand?!"

"Does Junior brother not like it?"

"It’s not a matter of likes or dislikes, didn’t you forget about what I said regarding the differences between men and women?" You Su’s tone was serious.

"You are blind, if not holding you, what if you trip and fall?" Fairy Wangshu’s tone was innocent.

"Elder sister, I am not an ordinary blind person, I am a blind person at Spirit Platform Realm."

"Aren’t they both weak and need protecting?"

"..."

A mature fairy in green skirt looked at the disappearing duo at the edge of the mist, her anger long gone, replaced by a serene smile.

The Third Elder shook her semi-transparent wine gourd again, even though she drank several sips, the wine level remained unaltered.

"He Shutong, He Shutong, you wouldn’t know how to teach little Wangshu, so you found a junior brother to teach right? Teaching is fine, little Wangshu is indeed becoming more like an individual."

She shook her head, then gazed deep into the lush green forest of Lotus Peak, her expression became solemn, she walked gracefully inward muttering to herself:

"Don’t die easily, otherwise little Wangshu would have to become my disciple..."
