Extreme Almightiest Young Master

Chapter 309: Looking for the Master!

Chapter 309: Looking for the Master!

"I’m telling the absolute truth. How could I possibly lie to you, Senior Brother? If you don’t believe me, take a look for yourself." Wan Gang had no choice but to extend his arm, signaling Wan Jin to examine his condition for himself. Only after seeing the condition would he believe what Wan Gang had said.

"I’ll take a look then!" Wan Jin picked up Wan Gang’s hand, his fingers touching Wan Gang’s wrist. Then he closed his eyes. But before long, his eyes snapped open, filled with utter shock because he truly felt that Wan Gang’s meridians were sealed. How could this be possible? His junior brother’s meridians had really been sealed. He had never heard of any cultivator encountering such a situation. This wasn’t something out of a martial arts novel. As a cultivator from the first day, he knew one thing—that unless a person was dead, it was impossible for there to be problems with their meridians. Even if one was seriously injured or disabled, the meridians could gradually heal.

But for his junior brother, the True Qi within his meridians couldn’t circulate at all. Such a situation was incredibly peculiar. Despite the presence of True Qi, it couldn’t move, which could only mean one thing—his junior brother’s meridians had indeed been sealed. If they didn’t unseal them quickly, he did not know what adverse effects might occur. But he was helpless in this situation because he could not project his True Qi. To deal with his junior brother’s meridian issue, only Master could intervene.

"I can’t do anything about your situation. Come with me. I’m taking you to Master," said Wan Jin. He grabbed his junior brother’s hand, hoisted him onto his shoulder, and without another word, he started sprinting towards the mountain’s summit. Because Master lived quite a distance away, and his junior brother couldn’t travel as before due to his injuries, carrying his junior brother up the mountain was the best approach. There was no time to waste. Otherwise, if anything happened to his junior brother, it would be terrible!

The more he thought about it, the more urgent he felt, and the faster he moved. Fortunately, they were in the mountains where no one could see, or else anyone witnessing Wan Jin carrying a person and moving so fast that the person’s silhouette became a blur would surely think they had seen a ghost in broad daylight!

Wan Gang knew his senior brother was anxious to get him to Master, so he didn’t struggle at all being carried on Wan Jin’s shoulder. It was only then that he realized the true gap between himself and his senior brother. Not only was there a vast difference in speed, but also in strength control. With his senior brother carrying him at speeds where the trees beside them became unclear, he didn’t feel any discomfort. So, this was the strength that one should have at the peak of the AA level!

He really envied his senior brother for reaching the peak of the AA level, just a step away from the AAA level. If his meridians could be restored, then he too would dedicate himself to cultivation, no longer bothering with the Secular World, and strive to reach his senior brother’s realm quickly, or even surpass him and join the ranks of the AAA level...

Under Wan Jin’s frenzied sprint, they soon arrived at the mountain’s peak, and then they went straight into a cave. Master Wan Long usually cultivated inside this cave. Many years ago, Master became stuck at the peak of the AAA level, and despite countless attempts, he never succeeded in advancing to the S level. After finding this cave, he spent all his time inside it, never leaving.

"Master! It’s Wan Jin. Junior brother had an accident!" Wan Jin stopped before reaching the innermost part. He wasn’t sure of the situation inside and feared disrupting Master’s cultivation. He called out in advance so as to prevent any reprimand from Master for behaving impolitely.

"Come in," said Wan Long, sitting on a wooden bed within the cave, donned in a gray robe, tall and thin with all-white hair and beard. Hearing his disciple speak, he then invited them in.

"Master, please take a look at junior brother. His meridians have been sealed!" Wan Jin, with Wan Gang on his shoulder, approached Master’s wooden bed and immediately explained the situation urgently, hoping Master would heal his junior brother quickly.

"Master, my meridians have been sealed. Please help me," Wan Gang spoke to his master with utmost respect. In his eyes, Master was an Immortal, capable of achieving what others couldn’t possibly achieve. With his meridians sealed this time, only Master could help him unseal them.

"Tell me, what exactly happened?" Wan Long asked with calm indifference, then closed his eyes again. He understood his disciple very well, for being too arrogant due to a smooth-sailing journey. That’s why he had sent him to temper his character in the broader world. Otherwise, always looking down on others would certainly bring him severe misfortune. However, he had not expected his disciple to return in just over half a year, much earlier than predicted. It was indeed strange. His disciple was attending a university; how could he have possibly encountered an expert of S level or above? Could it be that those of S level or above now enjoy attending universities?

However, what my disciple mentioned is even stranger, I’ve never heard of meridians being sealed before. I reckon that my disciple’s condition isn’t actually sealed meridians, it’s just some temporary issue with his meridians. Every cultivator shares a common understanding that once you join the ranks of cultivators, unless you’re dead, your meridians will never encounter issues, at worst there would be some discomfort for a period of time. Thus, my disciple’s meridians certainly won’t have any issues. If anything, I’ll just take a look at him later.

"Master, this is what happened..." Wan Gang recounted everything that occurred at Yingbo University in careful detail, but he dared not add any lies because he knew full well that no lie could ever deceive his master, so he relayed everything exactly as it happened.

"Master, that’s how things stand now, my meridians have been sealed, and I can’t circulate my True Qi at all." After telling his master everything, Wan Gang looked at his master, who had his eyes closed, hoping the master would take immediate action to unseal his meridians. Otherwise, he always felt as if a heavy mountain was pressing down on him, making him extremely miserable.

"Previously you were too arrogant, not taking anyone seriously. Have you learned your lesson now? When I sent you to the Secular World for cultivation, my intention was to let you suffer a significant loss. Now do you understand that there are always others out there better than you, and that even for your master, I’m only above average among cultivators. With your skills, what do you count for?" After listening to Wan Gang’s entire story, Wan Long finally grasped what had happened. It was all about a dispute over a training ground, which had escalated to such an extent, and it was simply unacceptable.

Moreover, there’s one thing that’s very clear, it was his own disciple who went too far first, injuring someone severely by breaking their bones, and then that Teacher Lin Feng showed up. This indicates that it was initially his disciple who exceeded the bounds, and the other person intervened because he couldn’t stand by and watch. This was aligned with his own intention, which was to let his disciple suffer a loss. Then, during their duel, that person easily defeated his disciple, meaning that person must certainly be an AA-level expert.

However, there’s one thing I don’t understand. How could an AA-level expert end up as a teacher at a university? This is truly bizarre! Normally, AA-level masters are not nonexistent in the Secular World, but they are very few. The rest of the AA-level masters are all hidden away, fully devoted to their cultivation, all aspiring to break through the Heavenly Dao someday. That’s the goal of all cultivators.

"Yes, master, I truly realize my mistake now..." Wan Gang was full of regret. If he hadn’t been so arrogant to begin with, he wouldn’t have provoked Teacher Lin, and thus, he would not have ended up beaten and had his meridians sealed. He could say that he had brought himself to this point, and it was because he had been cultivating in the Martial Arts Sect all along. Although his master occasionally took him out a few times, he had been able to defeat every opponent every time, which over time led to him becoming exceedingly arrogant, thinking he was so very powerful, causing him to take such a big fall today.

"However, as Wan Long’s disciple, you cannot be bullied by others. Wan Jin, when you have time, go and check out this Lin Feng, see what kind of person dares to be so arrogant, and teach him a lesson so he understands that we people from the Three Stars Sect are not to be trifled with." Having chastised his younger disciple Wan Gang and seeing that he was full of remorse, Wan Long felt that his purpose had been achieved. He then instructed his eldest disciple this way, with a simple agenda: despite everything, he still counted as someone notable among cultivators. If others came to know that his disciple had been beaten and he did not react at all, he would become a laughingstock.

Therefore, teaching Lin Feng a lesson became necessary, not only for the sake of his disciple but also for the reputation of the Three Stars Sect and his own reputation.

"Yes, Master, I’ll go down the mountain the moment I have time and teach this Lin Feng a lesson, letting him know that we from the Three Stars Sect are not to be trifled with." Upon hearing his master’s words, Wan Jin immediately voiced his own thoughts. Seeing his younger martial brother injured, he, as the eldest disciple, certainly felt the need to stand up for him. Moreover, the fact that that person had sealed his brother’s meridians meant that whatever else, he needed to be put in his place, to ensure they didn’t take the Three Stars Sect lightly.

"Wan Gang, come here, don’t worry about a thing, your master will fix your meridians in a moment." Wan Long looked at Wan Gang with complete confidence, not at all concerned about the healing. Now that all arrangements had been made, and Wan Gang had already learned his lesson, what remained was to repair Wan Gang’s meridians; there was nothing else to worry about.

"Yes, Master." Upon hearing that his master was finally ready to heal his meridians, Wan Gang was exceedingly happy. He promptly acknowledged and quickly went to his master’s bedside as he had been told.
