Extreme Almightiest Young Master

Chapter 1282 - 1280: Let Me Do It

Chapter 1282 - 1280: Let Me Do It

"Boom!"

With an earth-shattering explosion, a massive crater nearly two kilometers in diameter and over a hundred meters deep was blasted into the ground. An immensely powerful shockwave shot skyward, even sending several of the mechs in the air flying!

Following this, the shockwave swept up the soil like a towering wave, spreading outward and obliterating everything in its path. The surface layer of the ground was stripped away to a depth of two to three meters, creating a dirt tsunami that destroyed everything it encountered. The devastation from this explosion was beyond comprehension!

In the sky, the mechs barely managed to regain their posture and regrouped at Edward’s side. None of them had expected the mechs below to self-detonate. They were utterly bewildered—what was going on here? The sheer destructive power was unbelievable! Edward himself hadn’t anticipated the devastating results of triggering the explosion, but the sacrifice had been made, and now he was eager to see what had become of the situation below.

The catastrophic change also disrupted the battle between the children and the mechs. Both sides retreated to their respective positions, their gazes fixed on the terrifying wave of earth. They were all desperate to figure out what had just happened—why such a powerful explosion had occurred...

Before long, the dust in the air dissipated. To Edward’s immense excitement, he finally saw Lin Feng again. He could even see the landscape that existed prior to their arrival here. This meant they had broken Lin Feng’s formation and returned to the real world!

The other mechs noticed this scene as well, their enthusiasm soaring. Finally, they didn’t have to wander aimlessly—they could engage in direct combat. They were eager to charge at Lin Feng and tear him and his team to pieces!

"Hahaha... Lin Feng, I bet you didn’t expect this! I’ve finally unraveled your formation. Let’s see how you’ll deal with me now!" Edward, piloting the God Slayer Mech, gloated arrogantly from mid-air. Previously, he had been unable to locate Lin Feng, rendering his plans to kill him futile. But now that the formation was broken, Lin Feng’s demise was imminent.

"You think this is enough?" Lin Feng was indeed surprised by Edward’s extreme method of cracking his Illusion Array. But he wasn’t worried—although several layers of the illusion formation were destroyed, as long as the outermost layer remained intact, whatever happened inside didn’t matter. Besides, was it conceivable for him to rely solely on formations without a backup plan?

"Lin Feng, I truly admire your composure. Even now, you’re still so calm. Don’t bother resisting—it’s useless. I have more than enough mechs here. You and your team are done today. I’ll repeat my terms: hand over Jack and take your own life, and I’ll spare everyone else here!" Edward spoke confidently, giving Lin Feng one last chance. If Lin Feng refused to comply, Edward wouldn’t hesitate to unleash his fury.

"Honestly, just these mechs of yours don’t even warrant my attention." Lin Feng shook his head dismissively as he looked at Edward. He truly had no interest in dealing with these mechs. If not for wanting to train the children and minimize collateral damage, he wouldn’t have bothered setting up these formations. He could simply have ordered a few Infinitesimal Realm experts around him to annihilate these mechs.

"My mechs? You think I only have this many? Let me tell you the truth—these mechs? If I wanted to, I could produce 200 units daily! These mechs are just today’s production quota. Stop stalling—one word: do you accept my terms or not?"

When Edward heard Lin Feng’s words, he laughed smugly. In terms of mech production capacity, he could churn out hundreds daily. However, he didn’t have enough pilots; otherwise, he wouldn’t have brought only 181 mechs today but an army of 1,800!

"Two hundred mechs? Soon, you won’t be able to produce even one!" Lin Feng smiled faintly and spoke casually, shaking his head.

"Not even one? What do you mean by that?" Edward was utterly baffled by Lin Feng’s cryptic remark.

"Check your communication system." Lin Feng didn’t bother explaining. He simply instructed Edward to check his communications, knowing that everything would become clear to him after doing so.

Edward felt a wave of suspicion at Lin Feng’s suggestion. He began to inspect his communication system, only to find hundreds of incoming calls and messages...

"Boss, Base One is under attack!"

"Boss, Base Two is in crisis!"

"Boss, Base Three has been bombed—situation unclear!"

"Boss,..."

...

After skimming through just a few messages, Edward nearly fainted from the shock. All five of his secret bases had been attacked and utterly destroyed. This was a blow so devastating, he felt as though his heart had been wrenched out!

Edward had invested over half of the Locke Family’s resources into these five secret bases to develop mechs. These bases formed the backbone of the family. With their destruction, the Locke Family was effectively ruined. On top of that, the mech orders they had received couldn’t be fulfilled—compensation alone would drive the family to bankruptcy!

"Lin Feng, was this your doing?" Edward’s face darkened as he stared at Lin Feng, his tone laced with venom. He already suspected Lin Feng was behind it all but wanted confirmation.

"Indeed, it was me," Lin Feng admitted readily. After all, denial wasn’t his style—it was his plan, plain and simple.

"You... you! Lin Feng, you’ve forced my hand. I’ll kill you. I’ll kill every last one of you! Take them out—all of them!" After Lin Feng’s confession, Edward lost all semblance of rationality. He roared at his mech squad, believing his forces were more than enough to deal with Lin Feng and his team. There was no need for him to act personally!

As Edward’s order rang out, all the mechs charged toward Lin Feng’s position. Jack’s face turned pale; after all, there were over a hundred mechs converging at once. He could already visualize Lin Feng being torn apart by these mechanical monsters...

Lin Feng watched as the mechs charged forward and smiled faintly. During their earlier exchange, he had already gathered the children and specialty students by his side. To handle these mechs, they were more than capable.

Letting his Divine Sense expand, Lin Feng began directing the children and students to engage the mechs. Edward and the mech squad laughed openly, mocking Lin Feng for relying on a mere group of kids and students to fend them off—it was sheer idiocy!

One command after another was transmitted to the children and students through Lin Feng’s Divine Sense. Even if the orders sounded dubious, they followed them without hesitation, trusting utterly in Lin Feng’s judgment. Lin Feng never made mistakes!

"Dodge! Attack the head of the mech at the rear!"

"Circle to the right! Target the left side of the mech in front of you!"

"Fall back, then evade! Strike the mech on the right!"

...

In an instant, Flying Swords and Dharma Treasures filled the air. Gang Qi spread everywhere. The children’s coordinated attack created an eerie spectacle—even the overwhelming mechanical force couldn’t break through their formation. No matter how hard the mechs tried, the result remained the same. Bewildered, the mech squad couldn’t help but wonder if they had stumbled into another Illusion Realm. How could this be happening?

What troubled them most was the uncanny coordination among the children; they moved and fought as if they were a single entity. Such flawless synergy was downright unsettling. The mech pilots couldn’t comprehend how the children and students managed to pull this off.

As for the specialty students, they didn’t idle either. Whenever a mech damaged by the children fell to the ground, the students swarmed it, quickly disabling the mech completely. This battle was nothing like Edward had envisioned—his mech army was being systematically dismantled, growing ever more frustrated and enraged. Despite their superior firepower, they couldn’t overcome the children’s obstruction.

This must be impossible!

Watching the scene unfold, Jack nearly dropped his jaw to the floor. Earlier, he had seen three children struggling against a single mech—yet now, thirty-some children were holding their own against over a hundred mechs. It was unfathomable! No matter how hard Jack tried, he couldn’t wrap his mind around how the children managed this feat.

How could this be happening?

Edward, who had refrained from engaging directly, was just as stunned. Even as a spectator, he couldn’t discern how the children were blocking his mech battalion. This bizarre scenario baffled him completely, leaving him unable to believe what he was seeing.

No more waiting—I’ll handle this myself!

Unable to bear the prolonged battle, Edward finally decided to take matters into his own hands. His black mech blurred into motion, descending from the sky like a shadow aimed straight at Lin Feng...

"Allow me," Old Monster said, stepping forward as he saw Edward move. He had been itching to test the prowess of these mechs. Now that Edward had made the first move, he gladly took up the challenge.

"Be careful," Lin Feng remarked casually. He had no interest in fighting these mechs himself. Since Old Monster volunteered, he had no objections—he was there to ensure nothing would happen to him.

"Don’t worry," Old Monster replied with a grin. Without hesitation, he began circulating his spell, causing fiery red Elemental Gang Qi to surge around him. In an instant, he transformed into a figure resembling a Fire God, drawing a flaming red Flying Sword Dharma Treasure from his back. Stepping onto it, he streaked forward as a blazing streak of red light, heading directly toward Edward.

In truth, Old Monster didn’t particularly enjoy aerial combat. But with Edward hovering overhead, he had no choice but to ride his Flying Sword Dharma Treasure into the air. Otherwise, he would have continued treating it as a standard weapon, almost forgetting it could be used for flight...
