Everyone Wants Me Dead: The Villain Lord's Survival Diary

Chapter 61 – Loli Awakening

Chapter 61 – Loli Awakening

"I will protect her."

Sylvie murmured softly, bending down to close Old Parker's eyes.

Even in death, he still clutched Lysna's broken sword.

Unfortunately, it was shattered.

Sylvie searched for a long time before finding the other half of the blade amidst the chaos on the street.

He planned to repair the sword and bury it with Old Parker.

Old Parker wasn't truly old; he had just poured all his life into this day. Even if the Templar Knights hadn't come, he would have left soon for the Royal Capital.

To kill.

This assassination wasn't the end. The Pope would surely send stronger Templar Knights to trouble him. The Pope, whose power was growing, wouldn't allow an anomaly to disrupt his plans for the kingdom.

But wasn't Sylvie also about to spread his wings and soar?

Leaving the mess to the castle guards, Sylvie didn't hold back. He treated all the injured with diluted Water of Life, which was more effective than a Healing Spell and didn't cause magical backlash.

His supply of Water of Life was running low, but Loli's awakening was nearly complete.

Returning to his room, before Sylvie could speak, a petite figure had already leaped into his arms.

Sylvie said nothing, holding the trembling little maid tightly.

Loli nestled in Sylvie's embrace for a while, then lifted her delicate, youthful face, her eyes slightly red as she said:

"Master, you're not hurt, are you... I heard the rumbling below..."

"Loli wanted to go down and see you, but I was afraid of being a burden..."

Seeing the tears welling up in the little maid's eyes, Sylvie quickly hugged her tightly, gently patting her soft pink back, and comforted her:

"Loli is not a burden, and soon you'll awaken. Once you do, you might be even stronger than me, and then you'll protect me."

Sylvie knew Loli had always been self-conscious, feeling weak and because of her Demi-human identity.

In Winterfell City, as his personal maid, no one dared to say anything openly, but she must have heard plenty of gossip behind her back.

Loli never mentioned it, but in this human kingdom, with its prevalent discrimination against Demi-humans, such things were unavoidable.

Hearing Sylvie's words, Loli perked up a bit. She looked up, her eyes sparkling with hope, and asked eagerly:

"Master, is it true? Can Loli really become strong?"

"Of course, it's true."

Sylvie affectionately tapped Loli's small, white nose.

He had already decided that no matter what abilities Loli awakened with, whether strong or weak, he would find a way to make her feel valued.

"Then Loli wants to try again now!"

The little maid, her face flushed, pulled Sylvie to the bed, gently pushed him down, and slipped out of her dress, snuggling into his arms.

She giggled, rubbing against Sylvie's chest, her fluffy tail wrapping around one of his hands, then clasped her hands together, gradually immersing herself in the Breath of the Wilds.

A soft glow surrounded the girl, more radiant than the moonlight on the windowsill.

……

Morning.

A cool breeze swept through the large hole in the roof, carrying a captivating floral scent from who knows where, waking Sylvie from his drowsiness.

"Master..."

"Master!"

A soft, sweet voice called to him, with a hint of coquettishness.

"What's up... Lo, Loli?"

"!"

Sylvie snapped awake. If he weren't so familiar with Loli's voice, he might not have recognized it.

Beside him lay a petite, graceful, and exquisitely beautiful little Lolita.

The first thing he noticed was a pair of stunning deep red eyes. Below them, a small, elegant nose, a slightly pouting pink mouth, a creamy white neck that looked silky smooth, and further down...

Definitely not a flat chest anymore.

Can't look, can't look, looking more will cause trouble.

Sylvie sniffed, focusing his gaze on Loli's face.

The little maid seemed to have blossomed overnight. Her once youthful face now had a hint of girlish charm.

Although Sylvie didn't dare to look closely, in a fleeting glance, he felt the girl's legs were more shapely and longer, and she had certainly grown taller. Wearing stockings might...

Ahem, can't think about it... thinking more will cause trouble...

He noticed the girl's hair color had changed too, now a pale gold similar to his own.

Her ears and tail were also a clean, bright pale gold, with a small clover pattern on her forehead, looking very mysterious.

Sylvie's eyes were vacant, clearly entranced.

"Ma... Master? Has Loli become prettier?"

Loli's face was bright red, shyly looking at Sylvie, her tail wagging and brushing against his thigh.

"Ahem—Loli was always pretty, yes, still pretty, always pretty!"

Sylvie rubbed his nose, unsure where to look. He had never felt so embarrassed looking at Loli before; now that she had grown, he felt a bit shy.

"Hehe~, Loli feels stronger too, just not sure how..."

Loli giggled sweetly, her warm face buried in Sylvie's chest, her eyes filled with unending love and attachment.

But Sylvie's attention wasn't on that. One hand was tightly held by the girl, unable to move, while the other was busy caressing her soft back. His mind was occupied with her new information panel.
