When Brother Zhou pushed open the stairwell door, only Bai Yiran and a bouquet of flowers were left inside.
"Why are you staying here? Having a smoke?" Brother Zhou asked.
"No, just talking to the flower delivery guy, telling him not to bring any more in the future."
"Oh~" Brother Zhou nodded, not suspicious of Bai Yiran’s flowers at all, "Let’s go, the early meeting is starting, everyone is waiting for you."
"Mm!" Bai Yiran glanced at the now empty stairwell and followed Brother Zhou out.
Throughout the morning meeting, Bai Yiran’s mind was a chaotic mess. The recent events were so incredible that they overwhelmed her brain’s capacity.
After the meeting, as soon as Bai Yiran returned to the office, she called Leng Yichen, but the phone didn’t get through. Bai Yiran sat at her desk thinking, convinced that this matter needed to be told to Leng Yichen.
Picking up her handbag, Bai Yiran informed the assistant and left the company directly.

Bai Yiran walked to the bookshelf, casually picked out a book to read. Now, she not only understood them but could seriously study the exciting parts.
However, after about forty minutes, Bai Yiran’s eyes began to glaze over, mainly because she hadn’t slept well last night coupled with the morning activity, making her whole being start to feel fuzzy.
When Leng Yichen came back after the meeting, he saw Bai Yiran already asleep sprawled on the sofa, curled up like a quiet little cat. Her adorable appearance instantly softened his heart, and he gently picked her up and carried her to the resting room on the second floor.
Once she felt the bed’s softness, Bai Yiran instinctively shifted to the most comfortable position for her.
Bai Yiran slept for a long time, and when she woke up, it was already dark outside. She patted her head in annoyance and hurried downstairs.
Leng Yichen was still busy at his desk. Seeing Bai Yiran coming down, he relaxed and rubbed his brow, "Awake?"
"Mm."
Bai Yiran walked over, only to be pulled into Leng Yichen’s arms, "What brought you here?"
