Chapter 902 - 901 - 6 Elemental Body
Chapter 902 - 901 - 6 Elemental Body
A new forest had sprung up where the crystalline mountains had stood for time immemorial so far as many were concerned. It had been a dangerous place and even Immortal beasts avoided it.
Suddenly, someone had broken through at the very center and it was destroyed! The landscape was barren but then seemed to be replaced by the current forest.
At the heart of that forest was a newly made clearing and collapsed trees as an emerald dragon lay splayed out on the ground. It was alive and unharmed but clearly exhausted.
A young woman appeared with dark eyes and hair but she smiled wide as she flew to the dragon.
"Uncle!" Ilyria called out to him but he did not respond. She quickly checked and saw he was consolidating his foundation. The power coming off of him put any Shard Tier she had ever met to shame.
She had met Valkyrie and others but they had long practice at their realm so power was not their only strength yet the sheer wave of strength her Uncle put out would shatter anything those beings could do.
Still, she was confused as to why he had shrunk. Most beasts increased in size as they progressed in their cultivation. Generally, the larger it was, the greater power it would hold.
There was a limit for each race but in her case, she could cover the area in her natural body and size.
She knew from her race memories that she would only grow in size. Why had Lind shrunk? The power in his body was still far above her own and even just breathing, she could feel that even a casual swipe from his claws would level mountains!
She approached his snout and petted his scales. The warmth was clear but she felt a connection in her blood to him. She had always called him Uncle but now it felt more solid.
He was her Uncle by blood! She had true family!
"Sleep, Uncle. I will be here when you wake up." She settled on a stone covered in some moss before she began to cultivate and examine her body.
Changes had taken place but she had not had time to comprehend them. The gentle glade settled to peace and the 2 divine beasts recovered from their ordeal.

An idiot. There was no other title Lind could have for how simple the solution was to his cultivation.
He had ignored diving into his harmony but that was not all. His body! He had met so many Immortals and seen how their bodies were different from any Heaven Realm. He had assumed it was part comprehension and part the incorporation of Laws.
He was an idiot! A great honking idiot!
The transformation from a mortal into an Immortal was massive. It was not limited to the dantion and meridians, but the soul and body as well! The soul fused with the sliver and thus could survive without the body for a time.
It never occurred to him to wonder if a body had to be adjusted for that new existence since his harmony was already fused to his soul but it was his mistake!
His body was hardly changed aside from increases in power and size, but the fundamental basis of it remained the same.
It was why it had to keep growing to contain the sheer power of Qi and Laws inside him! Why had he never considered refining his body once more?!
Only when he was near death and being restored did his shard transform and revealed the final necessity for his kind.
The 6 elementals were struggling to advance as Sliver Tiers but now he knew why! As their harmonies became one with their souls, their bodies needed to be transformed to truly become part of their cultivation!
He slowly came back to the world and felt gentle moonlight on his scales. He looked around and saw a massive forest all around him but a few of the trees were broken beneath him.
He vaguely recalled sensing the danger of the dense Qi and Laws if left unchecked. He had channeled his harmony to create a sponge of plants to suck it all in as they were the only form of life that could endure it.
He sensed a bloodline resonance and was confused. Had he been out long enough for his children to find him?
He glanced at the source and it came back to him! Ilyria had been made a part of his family!
She was still in her human form but the power in her body had changed drastically. She had always seemed solid. She was immovable if she wanted to be but now a feeling of powerful attack power came from her.
His eyes glowed with emerald light and was stunned by what he could perceive. His talents had progressed!
He saw a storm of Qi around her but her elements had shifted! She had 6 primary elements! How was that possible?!
There was no harmony but he could not deny what he saw!
No wonder she felt so different!
He turned his vision to his body and examined all the changes. His meridians were once simply large and solid but now they glittered with all 3 types of the Qi systems! His harmony flowed in every inch of his body as well!
The body that had become so insanely large was now only 9 kilometers long. Despite the reduction of his body, his power had increased massively.
He could also see much farther than before. Not only with his senses but his Talents! Everything within 1000 kilometers was his to examine!
He saw the small crowd of people and beasts still sitting at the edge of the new forest. They were simple kingdoms and prides with only Sky Realms as their leaders at best.
The crystalline mountains had stunted the recovery of the entire area.
He noticed none felt his aura which made him happy and curious but he put it down to the fact he was not focusing on any one thing and had all elements in it now. It was the same as trying to sense the world at large.
It was always there.
He carefully returned to his human form only to find himself stark naked! A sigh came from him as he continued to destroy robes with every tribulation! He had liked those robes too!
He saw his ring was intact and summoned a set of gray robes to quickly cover himself. He then scanned for one more thing before he found it.
He flew off and quickly found the glittering wreckage of his skyship. His eyes narrowed as he now understood the issue with his skyship design.
He kept trying to force old rules to work by his understanding.
"You need the right kind of body too." He collected all the pieces with ease before returning to the clearing. Ilyria had not moved but he was not worried. Unlike him, she was already stable and was just sorting out everything in her head.
She now had access to 2 race memories, although his was rather shallow!
He pulled out the wreck and began his work again. Only now his fingers did not simply glow with emerald light. It was like all his tunnel vision had been shattered!
Weaving, Forging, and elixir mastery made a qualitative jump. He had struggled in grade 7 for so long and progressed so slowly but now he blew past his previous limits like they never existed!
Wood, crystals, ores, and sigils flew around him as a new shape was made. It was no longer like a normal boat at all. It had 4 legs to stand upright as it took on the shape of a tear drop as wings were allowed to come out of either side.
The materials at each step were glowing with all 18 elements unlike anything he had created before!
Flaps were installed for some simple mechanical manipulation but the strength of each panel was enough to take on a Shard Tier attack directly! That was without any weaving or formation!
The shell was now complete but he Forged channels like before that led to a much simpler central hub. It was here that he looked chagrined.
A fragile crystal lattice was made into a sphere. At the heart of it a harmonic crystal blazed to life but unlike before it had multiple flames dancing inside of it easily!
Power beyond anything the Wings of Freedom generated flowed from it but it was easily controlled by the new setup. No strain or sign of damage was felt at all as the power flowed to the whole ship.
It easily came to life and gently floated a few centimeters off the ground. He smiled as he moved on to make the interior livable.
He also carved out view ports on the sides with a massive screen on the front for the pilot to easily see outside directly ahead. He had encountered too much that could disrupt his artifacts sensing the outside world where eyes worked just fine.
He still had pedestals with jade screens but they were secondary unless attention was needed. The ship was 3 times as big as before and more aerodynamic. The Nautilus Class used Qi far more heavily to move but he incorporated mechanical flight physics to help lighten the load.
Once done, it actually seemed ready to shoot into the sky. He smiled as power hummed and he now understood how little he had grasped.
"I think I can keep an old promise now." It was not the way he expected, but he now had a way. He would test it to be sure but he had a precedent from the Law Binding.
He turned to Ilyria and waited as they were ready to go anytime she woke up. The journey would resume.
