Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 755 - 754 - 6 Elemental Guidance

Chapter 755 - 754 - 6 Elemental Guidance

The rumor after Ethry broke through was that Lind had come back from his most recent journey with insights into Laws.  It was only confirmed when Lysanna and then Kora swiftly broke through to Immortal Realm as well.

The timing was just impossible to ignore.

Thankfully, Lysanna's was only Supreme quality while Kora's was just damned odd.  A mighty golden Roc descended during her tribulation and allowed her to break through after a fierce battle.

Lysanna only got through 5 rounds while Kora also hit 7 the same as Ethry.

Those that had been making plans in the shadows scrapped them immediately.  The temptation to have guidance from Emperor Frey became a hotly contested subject and ways to let it happen.

Qing and Shoti were starting to show signs of getting close to a break through but Lind had finally found the desert he had been told about.

It was a very strange place but was far from the lands he currently called home.  Unlike other locations, however, there was absolutely no one living there in the thousands of square kilometers he had searched.

There was, however, something familiar a few months travel into it.  A strange stretch of land not quite in phase with the rest.  It was larger than the one at the village but there was a difference.

The Qi was thinner in most of the desert already but near that area it was stone dead.  It was a perfect place to hide as the pressure of Qi in his body strained to leave but he was able to regulate it with a sky ship.

It also made for a perfect area to face tribulations.

He marked the location but then moved a full 3 days away at the top speed of the sky ships.  It would take a month for even an Immortal to cover the same distance with the drain on their Qi.

He then declared the area his for when Immortals wanted to break through.  It took his people months to build and maintain a teleportation array as well as set up an area 200 square kilometers in size to make for future tribulations.

There were no beasts at all in the area he chose but his senses found they were slowing encroaching again.

Whatever created the desert was not entirely natural and he would bet all his Qi stones in his treasury that it was the Cataclysm.

It was simply labeled as the Desert on most maps but he found a few ancient ones in the local villages that showed a vastly different landscape.

It was still sparse and likely led to a desert but a more lively one back then.

The Molten Sands had several warning notations but he found none of those dangers no matter how many scouts he sent out.  He also did not find the other end after half a year.

The secret to what happened in the Heaven Realm during the Cataclysm left him with a chill.

If whatever wrecked the Celestials Fields had leaked through at certain points, like an ascension pool, it had also killed that area stone dead.

He renamed it the Sands of Tribulation as it was ideal.  No settlements and even if it exceeded his expectations, there was a massive safety margin.

Other powers liked his idea and set up their own.  It was so massive that there was no conflict for space!

Most could not afford to make a teleportation array so he was able to set up a toll of resources and it actually made a small boon during construction for other powers.  The Qi Condensation arrays were useless in the desert but weaving showed its power.

Weavers used their souls and thus Qi was able to be gathered without massive expenses used on formation plates.

The ephemeral nature of weaving also allowed it to not suffer from the wear and tear physical plates would.

While all that was going on, Lind decided to run more tests and help his own cultivation.

Tessa and other 6 elementals of his choosing came to secret sessions.

He had picked people at various levels of development and explained his discoveries related to harmonies and elemental Qi relationships to Laws.

Tessa, unsurprisingly, was able to quickly cultivate her harmony into a Superior Law.  She refused to divulge too much about it, but she was able to draw parallels to make progress.

The really stunning progress was the others.

Lind chose 6 elementals that had struggled to move even an inch in the Moon Tier and their harmony was the issue.  He noticed they were beyond aspect and into a mix of partial Law or intent in varying degrees.

After only a year with his help, they exploded in progress!  He was like a never ending well of progress!  It was not just talking about the Dao, it was like he could perceive things about their failings.

A man had excellent balance between his elements but his blue harmony was just an intent and barely at that.  He seemed to have a great gift for healing but focused too much on just the balance rather than progress.

Lind explained the Laws of Blood, Bone, and all the others healers had to grasp.  He had studied a few himself and that was the key.

As he helped them, the storm of Law Traces slowly transformed.  His sun was getting buried in Laws after nearly 2 years.

As he delved into the Laws concepts it brought staggering enlightenment to them all.  It was not his laying the path out, but like the door was locked until he gave them a new way of looking at things.

They did the work and it was key they did so.  Any Immortal could force cultivators to advance if they fed them all the information but that cultivator would then become stuck once they were a Sliver Tier.

It was not their Dao but the teacher's that they followed.

Compared to his wives, the 6 elementals were like a thundering horde.  A woman went from the very bottom of the Moon Tier to a peak Sun Tier in the 2 years.she studied under him.

She was a weaver as well but that was her focus.  She was actually better at it than Lind was!  She was touching on low grade 7 in record time but he barely gave her help!

After those results, it was clear that he had been transformed in some way but he did not understand how.  What was it that had specifically let him become such an effective teacher?  Enlightenment and comprehension was easy but to convey to others was not at all.

Even his original elemental theories were the work of decades.  While he had to figure it out, even with him being the pioneer, it took 6 years in the best environment to grasp the World Realm as well!

That was a lot of desperation as well.  Now, it was almost effortless to help others but slowly he grasped why.

The harmony was the key to it all.  Every 6 elemental followed a similar pattern in the Heaven Realm.  Once he guided them on diving into the profound depths of their harmonies, it was like a flood gate was opened.

He monitored them, especially the woman that jumped so far so fast, but their foundations were solid.  Unlike other cultivators, 6 elementals were forced to make very firm and profound foundations in each realm to advance.

Having to balance and master all 6 elements plus a harmony on top of that, made them actually have a massive advantage when explosive growth occurred.

It was actually easier to have massive jumps in realms when they had none previously.  Lind was one of the few that had done such a thing but again, he had not much say during those times.

He had then spent a long time polishing his foundation and that included the century he had to take rest after his Inheritance nightmare.

While that explained why the guidance helped them so much, it left himself as a  mystery.

He had grasped Laws but he had been exposed to them constantly.  He had been protected by a Divine Being but that had also happened before.  His teachings had not been so potent back then either.

What was the difference?

The problem was he had no one to turn to.  Linghu only knew what Lanbao taught him to master his own path and the other Immortals were much the same.  Soltara and Balgorn walked a very different path to cultivation so they could not help.

He thought about asking a few older Immortals but he strongly suspected they would not know.

He looked into some alternatives and was stunned to find one.

There was a rather unique Inheritance controlled by the Helion Trading Guild.  It was unique in that it was not looking for an heir nor did it have much treasure.  It really depended on how you viewed it.

It was a living library.  It was older than the Cataclysm and one of the few that survived that were active in the Heaven Realm at that time.

Getting in, however, would be a headache.
