It was a common fact. It was so well known that even the most weak tier 1 Sky Realm knew that Star Tier and Moon Tier had no tribulations. The steps themselves were the greater danger but Lind now understood the truth.
The 6 elementals faced Harmony Tribulation because they bypassed the Star Tier! It was the price they paid. It was yet another variation due to their unique nature.
He used a paired jade slip to quickly put all his comprehensions that were cascading through his mind as he tried to get to the platform, but he was not going to make it. He simply could not fly as his Qi was in chaos.
He saw the constellations form in each of his elemental positions. The fire stars were like crimson orbs piercing the black background of his dantian. A Star Tier was creating a universe inside the dantian because it was a step to move away from mortal life.
He saw all 6 colors of stars were profound but unlike the previous realms, Lind lost the connection to the realm. He was no longer mystified as it all came together.
Body Refining Realm laid the foundation for a body to withstand the rigors to come. The Soul Realm condensed the elements into the dantian and dedicated the path to follow. World Realm made a cultivator the master of the Qi around them as part of their own. The Sky Realm was the true master of imposing their will on the world.
Heaven Realm was when a cultivator became their own universe. They changed their dantian into a sea of stars and needed all the elements to progress because a universe could not be only a few pieces of the puzzle.
A universe needed fire, light, air, water, darkness, and earth to create worlds to fill it. Lind grasped all of that in a few moments as his sinuous emerald harmony coiled at the center of his dantian.
It was at that moment he felt the black clouds hardening against him. He noticed the disciples had erected defenses but could only hope he was far enough away.
Unlike other tribulations, he saw only emerald lightning! It was going to forge his harmony into a moon!
His scales came out and his eyes became vertical slits as the first bolt slammed into him. Unlike other tribulations, his body did not slow it down at all! It went straight to his dantian and struck his harmony!
Pain lanced his very soul!
Still, Lind focused as he began to condense his constellations into his harmony. He had to do it now before the next bolt started coming down. He barely took a breath when 2 bolts fell at once!
He tried to use several defensive Arts but again, it did nothing which irritated Lind. He fell over roaring as all of the sect looked on in terror. They had to go through that?!
Lind narrowed his eyes as emerald flames covered his body before the next strike which had 3! Unlike his other attempts, the pain was far reduced while his harmony slowly transformed into a faint sphere.
That was the trick!
He could not rely on anything but the control of his harmony! The other cultivators saw the change and instantly understood! The black clouds seemed to get angry as power gathered. He had faced 6 bolts already.
He hoped there were only 9 total and not 9 rounds. Life was not kind as 4 bolts slammed down and Lind had to blow flames at 2 of them while using his fists covered in flames on the others.
It was highly effective and made his harmony transform faster with far less pain.
He began to see the stars speed up as they condensed into his forming moon. Still, it was like fighting uphill and carrying weights at the same time. Unlike with Ilyria where the stars flew into her moon, his were sluggish.
"COME ON!" Lind roared to the sky as 5 bolts came down. The others noticed he was turning back into a human as his dragon form afforded no extra protection but Kexin narrowed her eyes as she saw his once dirty blonde hair was turning emerald!
His dark green eyes brightened as well!
Blood seemed to leak from every orifice but he did not seem to bow as one of the bolts got by his defenses.
Lind's eyes lit up as summoned his dragon soul. The sinuous form took over and looked in anger up at the clouds as 6 bolts came down. At last, he felt no pain and roared in challenge to the sky.
Many paled at Lind using such a method to overcome his tribulation but the ground suddenly rumbled underneath them.
The once near barren island was being infused with high quality Qi and Heavenly tribulation. The island was rising!
Lind noticed nothing as he was running out of Qi but then a second wind filled him up as his meridians tried to draw in what they could.
He saw the clouds building power for the last set of rounds and knew he was in for a terrifying ordeal. He barely got his defenses up before 7 bolts slammed into his ethereal form but as the lighting lanced along his projected body it became more solid.
Blood actually began to pour from the dragon soul for the first time since he condensed it.
He was gaining the flesh of a dragon!
His dantian was nearly there but then 8 bolts of incredible power slammed into him. The emerald lightning shattered his dragon soul projection and sent him flying. It was too much power!
His harmony was nearly solid but Lind slowly got up and glared at the sky.
"If you think I am going to stop because of this, you are out of your mind. I am not doing this for myself alone. I am doing this for them!" His words made many weep as they understood Lind was imbuing a jade slip the whole time!
It was cracked but still working, yet now it would shatter for sure as 9 bolts power built up but then something unexpected happened.
A dragon of lightning appeared in the clouds!
Lind realized his final tribulation would be for his progenitor status!
He felt a need to roar as the dragon stared down at him but none were prepared when it lashed its tail and the black clouds were dispersed.
The feeling in the air changed as Heaven rejoiced!
Lind then felt relief as he understood.
He was a Divine Progenitor and was ascending. The lightning dragon slowly descended and became one with him.
Lind was pulled into the air as his stars were sucked into his newly made emerald moon. He was a Moon Tier but then he felt something odd.
He opened his eyes and saw tiny sparks dancing around him. It was not his Talent but simply tiny sparks of elemental Qi that seemed alive to him.
He felt something profoundly important as they danced around him and suddenly a voice entered his mind.
[You did it! The shackles will be broken!]
It was a child-like voice but Lind suddenly realized what was around him. Spirits of Heaven and Earth!
Lind then felt something enter his heart. He understood instinctively. He was the first to lead 6 elementals to the Heaven Realm and was allowed a reward for it. Also, he had given up karmic restitution to the Divine Guardian.
The spirits were recognizing his intent and for the first time in all of his cultivation, Lind understood how small he was. He was but a grain of sand and yet he had had such an effect that even the spirits of Heaven and Earth acknowledged him.
"I want to help the others." He spoke his honest wish and felt joy in return.
He was a Moon Tier but rather than being forced out he suddenly felt restraints fall away as he looked down at the others. His mind was suddenly able to see all of them all at once.
He imprinted all he had learned to everyone but also gave them time. They would not have to rush it as he had. They were given time to prepare and all kowtowed to him.
"ALL PRAISE SECT MASTER LIND FREY!" The chorus of voices made him smile but he moved his vision and vanished from the Elysium Fields.
The Moebius Sect in Rith suddenly felt a massive aura cover their whole continent. The entire lower world knew something had come that was far more powerful than they could resist but a man with dark hair and emerald streaks and eyes looked down at them warmly.
He waved his hand and much of what he learned flooded the minds of the elders with an instruction to teach it to all.
The man then vanished and moved south quickly before appearing over a tiny empire in Darkmoor Kingdom. It was full of World Realms but they all looked up as a terrifying power washed over them.
"I started here and leave a gift." Qi density skyrocketed and all of the elders of the Frey Clan felt their bottlenecks loosen. None remained that had personally seen him but tears fell as the description matched him.
Lind Frey was leaving the Mortal Realm but remembered his Clan.
He made one last stop in the Floating Isles. Voracious Jungle Isle trembled as a being far above them arrived.
Matron emerged from her cave but smiled up at the young human floating above.
She had never moved on despite the ability to do so. She was fine but Lind smiled down at her and her wrinkled visage reverted to a youthful woman once more.
"You are a fool, but I like you for it!" Lind smirked before the sky tore open and he flew up into it. He had no idea where he would go but he had lit the path for others to follow.
The entire Mortal Realm felt the Heavens rejoice and Qi flow increased massively while the 6 elementals on the Elysium Plains to the lower world all kowtowed to Lind Frey. He had done it once more.
The mortal realm could not hold them anymore! Kexin wept as she knew Lind was more than they deserved as they cleaned up the platforms and started to make the trek home. She looked up and smiled wide.
"Spirits watch over you." Kexin then moved to the link city to repair the teleportation array. The entire island had lifted due to Ilyria and Lind ascending. They had all his experience to learn from and they would prepare.
The 6 elementals would not disappoint Lind Frey. They would show him they could make it through as well!
The world had changed in ways no one yet grasped but in the centuries to come, the power of Moebius Sect would become terrifying in the Mortal Realm and even the Heavenly Maidens would not dare anger them.
The next realm waited for them and Lind Frey continued to blaze the trail.
