Chapter 1736 1735 - Master Tier Tantrum

Chapter 1736 1735 - Master Tier Tantrum

Lind's meetings went fairly smoothly after that. His demonstration and control of all the arrays left little room for argument.

The demons were surprisingly happy to meet him. He should have known better the instant they wanted to duel him.

Still, it allowed him to gauge not only his strength but also to consolidate his foundation even faster than just meditating could ever do.

There were impressive arrays to contain the fallout yet he found his power strained them heavily. Peak Journeyman Tiers were fairly common in the mountain range. He finally had a confirmation that no Divine Realm was uniform in strength.

Some were nowhere near any kind of combat worthy power. Even an amateur could take them down. How such beings could become Divine Realms he had no idea, yet they were there so it was possible.

On the opposite side of the scale were warriors through and through. Beasts had natural advantages here but mostly in their natural state. In a human body they did well but only real experience would get them up to the same skill level.

After billions of years, they would easily get it.

Lind was able to get a full grasp of how powerful he had become. It was startling to find he had not met anyone equal to him in the same tier.

His professions took more work but in less than a few months, he was at the peak of his control. The reports from the scouts sent out gave little in the way of updates.

The Eastern Continent was now sealed back up with no signs of anyone going in or out. The Northern Continent was largely intact but devoid of any remaining life. If Lind had missed anyone, they were gone.

As he consolidated his foundation, he worked with the surviving powers, or at least the ones that accepted the invitation.

There were, however, 1 glaring exception no matter which power he spoke to.

There were no Master Tiers save the few from the Northern Continent or the ones Sun sent himself. Those few gave him no trouble but they had no idea where the rest of their level of cultivators were.

The scouts could not find them and Lind was getting irritated.

The other Divine Lords in the Journeyman Tier, less than 8, had gathered but Lind was above them all in quality and strength. Only Aristrossa came close to him, while the rest trailed behind.

They were friendly for the most part.

Beasts could be far more pragmatic when survival was on the line. The only other allies that showed up to the shock of just about everyone were the krakens and the leviathans.

He had missed them and they came in force.

When the 4 Master Tiers that led them bowed in deep respect to Lind, any lingering grumbling was essentially silenced.

An unfamiliar young woman with curly white hair was also with them. She was only a peak Apprentice Tier but the moment she saw Lind, she broke out in a massive smile and slammed into him with a bonecrushing hug.

Despite being much stronger than her, Lind heard his bones creak!

"Princess! You are royalt–" One of the many followers of the krakens spoke up but a glare from her father and mother silenced them. The amused expressions were not what Lind needed at the moment!

The leviathans were actually giggling!

"It is good to see you all again. Karu, if you would?" Karu was crying happy tears as she gently patted the princess' head. Then it was Karu's turn for a hug. "I am hoping some of you may know what is going on with the other Master Tiers. We will need them if we have any hope of finally breaking the Fiend's armies."

The Bastard may be the strongest but he was far from the only Master Tier power level threat. Fiends true power was not in their cultivation realm, but in their numbers and their ability to cut through most Qi defenses.

In essence, any Apprentice Tier Divine Fiend could pose a threat to even a normal Master Tier if caught off guard.

Master Tiers were far more able to overpower them so he wanted them all.

The 4 seniors glanced between them before a flicker of disdain crossed them. Lind knew them well so he caught it.

"I cannot speak for the demons for certain. They may simply be waiting for the war to start. They will not miss this fight for certain." Lind could believe that completely, but he would still like to speak to them. "The aether children, Elementals, and any loose Master Tier are not inclined to come forward. They have been burned by the likely problem. The humans."

Lind wanted to just once, just once have common sense overrule selfishness and greed. He did not need much of an explanation.

The human Master Tiers were a combination of fence sitters and not wanting to simply profit from the coming war. The general culture of the Divine Lands reflected that. Lind could not change human nature, yet he could do something about the current situation.

His aura flared but it was not just his foundation. The Heavens rumbled and black clouds appeared instantly. Anger fell across the Divine Lands as Lind looked up and said only one word.

[Come.]

The word shook the realm. Screams were heard but Lind was smiling. Not a single bit of vitality was taken. Heaven and Earth were not happy with the Master Tiers.

Figures began to slam into the area outside the barrier. The surface cracked but the storm ended shortly as the sky cleared. Lind emerged from the barrier as he floated over the prone figures.

"How dare you?! You tiny sna–!" Lind only arched an eyebrow and the man screaming began to choke. None felt a single tremor yet all knew he had done it.

"I am going to be perfectly clear. Time is up. Our existence is on the line and no one can hold back. If we live, you can feel free to file a complaint to Heaven and Earth, but using my Divine Authority cost me nothing. Let that sink in." The various races could all hear him and the beasts became solemn at them.

Others well versed in True and Divine Lords knew free uses of Authority were only possible under severely limited conditions. Karmic restitution was the most likely. It could compensate Authority if the command resulted in positive karmic results.

The only other exception was when someone had crossed Heaven and Earth. A True or Divine Lord paid no price at all when using their Authority. Lind admitting that meant all the Master Tiers, dozens of them, had incurred the Wrath of Heaven!

Most of them were human but a few demons and a single aether child was among the group.

As he looked down he felt more arrive voluntarily. He looked up to see mostly demons with a smattering of Elementals and aether children among them. The fact they had not been called by his Divine Authority meant they had intended to fight.

Lind cupped his hands and bowed with respect to them before turning back to the indignant figures on the ground.

"Divine Lord Lind Frey, why have you used your–?" A woman tried to speak but once more he cut off her voice with no indication of Qi or any energy at work. It was only on the second time that all grasped what was going on.

Divine Authority!

He was not losing vitality at all despite using it twice more! Just how much had the Master Tiers enraged Heaven and Earth?!

"I will say it once more. The final war against the Fiends is here. Holding back and fishing in troubled waters is not allowed. We all commit or we die. I told my forces to relay this message but you chose to try and play to whoever comes out on top. He will take you all." Lind had put all his cards on the table.

Karu could not prove it before but at the current juncture, only a complete fool would deny reality. Sadly, he had a pile of them in front of him.

They decried his words and tried to assert their seniority. Lind simply waved his hand and all were silenced.

[I sweat to Heaven and Earth all I say is absolute truth. The Bastard must refine the entirety of the Divine Lands, people and all, to reach the next major realm.]

His transmission reverberated across the entire mountain range. The rumble from Heaven made many go pale. The Master Tiers froze in shock. Some wanted to deny it but they could not.

An Oath to Heaven and Earth was affirmed without doubt. There was no retreat.

"Your tantrums are now over. You will participate and obey my commands. I will fight him but I need the rest of the Fiends handled by you. We will start to plan now." Lind turned and entered the barrier.

The Master Tiers above quickly followed while the ones on the ground were slower to respond.

Some left but the majority also entered the mountain range. Those that left would be remembered for abandoning all of them.

The reality of the situation finally settled over them all. The true final war with the Fiends was at hand.
