Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 1494 - 1493 - Solaris Jewel

Chapter 1494 - 1493 - Solaris Jewel

Lind was not sure why they let him leave the healing hall if they were just going to force him to watch interesting things slip by! He had the resources, why not buy a few things for later?

He knew the answer but they also held back so he could not complain! There were a few times he swore Fey looked up at their suite as if she too knew he was trying to exert himself!

His elixirs and Forged items sold quite well. There were many happy bidders out there due to that. His weaving plates were a bit niche but they were decent as well.

Annabelle had submitted some formation plates for protection and life saving measures that outdid all his weaving plates combined!

Kora also put up some of her feathers and even a couple claws. Raw materials from a divine Roc were in very high demand. He noticed a few vermilion bird clans had nearly bankrupted themselves for the feathers.

He was unsure why they needed them but it might have to do with their young. A roc was not a phoenix but to them she was a higher order bird beast bloodline. Her feathers could be used to improve a chick before it was born.

The claws were more interesting to some guilds for materials but a sect of demons won the bid as a whole. It was likely they were looking to make a weapon or armor from them but he was curious how demonic cultivators would use natural Qi beast parts.

It piqued his curiosity in a different way. Yet, he was stymied there too. He just wanted to imprint a jade slip with questions, what could that hurt?

The produced items took a break after the peak of grade 7 was exhausted. It was time for some raw materials.

[Next up are some grade 7 herbs–] Lind now tuned out. Materials were not something he needed. The Throne aside, he was able to get anything he wanted with the resources at his disposal.

His wives relaxed and they enjoyed seeing some of the very items they could easily gather selling for insane amounts of Immortal Qi stones or precious resources. Some were from them but many were held by other guilds.

Lind was almost ready to take a nap when he felt his harmony flare up. It was strange as it was not normal. It was not in relation to Dao, but his soul!

He suddenly perked up and his wives went to stop him but his look had changed. It was not curiosity but a very serious expression on his face.

[The next item is a bit of a mystery. It was found not in the 4th layer but in the 2nd inside an Immortal Inheritance. It was part of a vast treasury but it does not respond to Qi infusion nor any attempt to craft it. Maesters have tried for 400 million years but to no avail. It is this gem.]

Fey's voice faded as a small table was brought forth. A gem cut with 9 sides was presented but it was not a simple solid. The light refracted and moved inside it like liquid!

Lind knew he needed that gem!

[The opening bid will be 50,000 peak Immortal Qi stones.]

Silence descended in the arena seats. The largest opening bid had only been measured in high Immortal Qi stones, but now peak stones were the starting point!

Only serious bidders were welcome on the current stage!

Lind did not even pause as he put 60,000 peak Immortal Qi stones up. Fey frowned but since she could not call him out, she nodded at his post.

An increase of 10,000 was not small at all!

Yet, it did not stop the bidding at all! It quickly reached 6 figures with no sign of stopping. Lind then put out a new bid.

{300,000 peak Immortal Qi stones}

A pause finally came to the bids. It had only reached 116,000 before but now it had leapt to a massive height. His serious nature made his wives say nothing and even Fey now had no glance to give his suite.

Lind did not think he would be so lucky that others would give up and he was right.

It quickly came down to supreme powers bidding into the 7 figures. Lind was now frustrated. He had the ability to bid more but it would just keep going up. The gem would keep getting bid on so he then did something he rarely did.

{Dao Enlightenment Elixir.}

He then put forth his most potent elixir and a new silence descended in the arena. Many heads turned to the VIP suite his family held. All knew he was the only one to have the ability to offer such a thing.

It had been rumored he could make something Immortals could use to actually improve the chance of grasping Dao but now it was confirmed.

[Please wait a moment.] Fey then moved off stage and the crowd grew restless but did not get out of hand. Her control was that secure.

Lind knew his elixir was a bit special. It did not have an official rating so it was being evaluated now.

The time seemed to stretch far too long before Fey returned. She also had an old man with her.

In his hands was an elixir that had no color but a pressure that made even the Sovereign Tiers in the general audience flinch as it arrived.

[We have an elder of the Sunken Temple Guild to present the evaluation results.] Lind perked up as that guild was actually clean of Fiend influence. It had no contestants due to its small size.

It was still a high power but it was focused on quality over quantity.

[I am Elder Deep Ocean. I have evaluated this elixir and rate it as peak Law Grade on top of everything else. It is easily equal to 700,000 peak Immortal Qi stones.]

The old man dropped the bomb that even Lind did not expect.

That high? Why? Lind knew it was critical to Sovereign Tiers but he was not the first person to make it. He had learned the recipe from a scroll in the records of the Divine Sword Sect.

It seemed he was not the only one to question the evaluation.

"Senior, my guild has made the elixir in the past and it never reached such a level. Why is that one rated so highly?" A man from one of the guilds spoke up but his question was entirely valid. Even Lind wanted to know!

The vial shimmered as he stimulated it with Qi.

The aura washed over the crowd and Lind felt his own harmony with Abby and Ember responded. Yet, the crowd reaction was shocking.

"I–I feel like I can advance!" A woman suddenly stood up with mixed white and green hair. She had some signs of aging but now she looked like she was excited. She was not alone as many mirrored her reaction.

Lind noticed all of them were Sovereign Tiers.

[As I said, this elixir is worth every stone. It is not just about being Law Grade, but the depth of Dao it can pull forth.] The transmission made it clear the elder was not bending on his evaluation.

The effect just being exposed to the contained aura made it clear it was worth it.

Silence descended and no one said a thing after that. Fey looked around before she began the count down.

[Going once.] Nothing. [Going twice.] She made sure to pause longer but no one said a a thing. [SOLD to Lind Frey!]

Lind pumped his fist but his wives finally put their foot down. The Harmonic Dragons quickly brought it to his suite as his condition meant he could not go get it later.

The instant the gem arrived, his harmony almost flared out of his control. He used his aura to carefully examine it until something unexpected flooded his mind.

Knowledge! He was receiving knowledge from the gem itself!

"Lind?" Kora's voice snapped him out of the flow but he now knew what he held.

"It is called the Solaris Gem. It is meant to invigorate the soul!" His words made all his family focus on him as he suddenly glowed with emerald light. The liquid in the gem responded and a kind of cycle began.

The flow of Qi was not involved at all but the elements stirred in his nodes as the gem seemed to resonate with him. The injuries to his soul were healing faster right before his senses!

The gem began to dim but he grasped it was simply running on empty. The liquid inside evaporated as streams of power flowed into him.

Lind's color improved immensely right afterward and his strained soul was in far better shape! He opened his eyes and looked down at the clear gem in his hands.

Many things flowed through his mind but the most important was that wherever the gem was found, it did not belong there!

It was some kind of gem artifact created to help heal souls! He had been given the basics of how to make it but it was out of his current ability. He was still injured but in far better shape than before.

"Qing, evaluate me and then someone look to see if there is any other item like this one." He could recover far faster if more items existed like the Solaris Gem!
