Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 1434 - 1433 - Elemental Altars

Chapter 1434 - 1433 - Elemental Altars

Lind had been unable to find any way to prevent the massive amount of births but before he could truly worry about how to explain it, shockwaves drew attention from all of the residents.

The Daos drastically manifested all of a sudden as well that even Sliver Tier Immortals could perceive them! Elemental Qi was also so thick that no one needed Soul Eyes to see it.

The Elementals suddenly fled the areas they had been cultivating in. Lind was unsure what was going on, but all 6 of his elemental nodes were resonating. Only all 18 elements could cause that!

He expanded his aura to cover the entirety of the Throne of Defiance and saw changes were occurring all over. It was not just the surface but all the way to the Under Lands!

Areas were being reshaped and elemental energy was condensing under the pressure of Dao. His eyes narrowed as his emerald flame finally reacted.

Knowledge was flowing into his mind as he understood. The Throne of Defiance had been settling ever since he founded it. While it had stabilized to the point he could leave, it was far from done.

The shift in Dao had not been a cause but an effect! The change in the Harmonic Dragons was what caused it, not the other way around!

The combined harmonies had actually affected the still unstable foundation of the Throne but now it was shifting back after the turbulent changes.

His worries were also shifting as he did not fully understand what was happening at first. It was only as things settled that he realized what was taking shape in 18 different areas.

A vast cavern in the Hollow Lands was becoming a pure Fire. It reminded him of the Eternal Fire Dao cavern in some ways but he also noticed at the heart of it was a location that shimmered with pure fire even he felt a threat from.

All the way down near the Under Lands was a place steeped in shadows that shifted constantly despite no light source. Darkness so deep it almost made a void was not far from that area either!

They were distinct but that was not the truly shocking areas.

There were 6 areas evenly distributed between the Sovereign, Hollow, and Under Lands. Celestial Light and wind were on the Sovereign Land side, Celestial fire and darkness were in the Hollow Lands, with Celestial water and earth near the Under Lands.

They should be like oil and water trying to exist near natural or demonic Qi areas but there was not even a single fluctuation.

Only 1 thing had such a result.

His aura was focused on the borders of the new areas and he found what he expected. Emerald veins!

Now that they were no longer needed to nurture eggs, the Throne seemed to have found a new use for them! Was it alive?

More likely, the rules of Heaven and Earth sought balance and his harmony provided it. Further, he felt like the storm of Dao and Laws were settling as the 18 areas condensed and calmed down.

He had made Seeds for so long, how could he not understand what he was seeing. It was a massive array of 18 elemental areas that would nurture the whole Throne going forward!

The storm at the center was nearly spent and his harmonic Qi was weakening as time passed. A new source would be needed to maintain the fantastical level of resource development the Throne of Defiance had made thus far.

It seemed the plan was always to create such a crazy arrangement. He could feel the changes in the flow of not only the elements but everything.

Dao of Life was closely tied to water, light, and even wind. Death was darkness, earth, and fire. It was overly simplistic, but generally true.

"What are those?" The organization was too perfect to his senses. It was like the 18 areas were slightly outside of the normal Throne lands.

[Master, I believe you have done something–insane.] Haro sounded disturbed which was a first. The man materialized as he also extended his aura.

Lind was shocked to realize it was much stronger than before. It was only then that Lind realized a change he had missed focusing on the flow of Laws and elements.

A rather familiar sensation of things being more real than before was in front of him. It was not nearly as evident as in the Inheritances he had experienced, but it was there.

"Haro, this could not possibly be–?" He could not even say it but his bald companion sighed and nodded.

"Yes, Master, you are seeing what the weakest of Divine Lands would look like. You have allowed Elemental Altars to exist in a place they should not. I am unsure what this will mean for the future of the Throne but no Immortal can ever claim them." His words only spawned more questions but the changes were not done.

He felt power flow from his dantian suddenly and his cultivation that had not really progressed exploded! He had consolidated his gains and even polished his foundation with all the creation he had been doing for the arena.

He felt like he had such a solid foundation that there was no strain at all compared to when he was forced to cross into mid Sovereign Tier before. Now, his dantian surged with Dao!

The high bar before him to make progress was seemingly shattered as his harmony flared to life. Emerald light nurtured his elemental nodes and his Laws with Dao were refined even more.

His aura became a bit erratic until he focused and let things balance out. Haro said nothing but watched over him. Unlike any time before, his ring spirit felt like a god compared to any cultivator he had met.

Even Lind, his Master, felt tiny next to him now.

Was that his true power, sealed away all that time because the world could not let him unleash it safely?

Lind could never come close to making a ring like Haro's. He could not even conceive of making a spirit like him.

The spirits he had birthed in his various tools and weapons had first had limits but now he created ones that could grow with nurturing from their owners. It was possible they could grow as strong as Haro one day but that was not an inherent intent on his part.

Lind pushed the thoughts aside as his cultivation soared to the peak of mid Sovereign Tier and stopped. He felt like he slammed into a wall. Still his foundation needed to be consolidated.

It was hard. He felt like he was trying to push himself through thick mud! He had never felt such resistance from his own foundation before. It highlighted how much harder his next step would be.

Haro suddenly placed his hand on his back and the feeling of resistance lessened.

"I cannot do anything directly but this much I can aid your own efforts, Master." He nodded and stabilized his aura and power enough to safely interact with others. He had to work on his intent and will to fully control it but his power was now terrifying.

Peak Sovereign Tiers no longer caused him a worry on a general basis. There were still those he had to be cautious of. His fellow True Lords and old monsters that had no interest in anything but their own power.

The tournament would lure them out but that was not all. He was not infallible. Powerful beings had underestimated him and died for it. He should learn from them and assume threats still lurked even in those he thought beneath his power.

Things settled and he quickly pulled the leaders he had assigned together. His own children also swarmed as they seemed as affected as him!

They all had blown through the Moon Tier and were now solidly in the Sun Tier!

They were the only ones affected by cultivation progress alone. The Harmonic Dragons were an entirely different result.

Some of them suddenly had more muscle power, others elemental power, and so forth. Their harmonies were all strengthened and the few families he had brought for testing had changes as well but not as drastic.

Their children, born in the Throne, were all adults now and very powerful 6 elementals. They had only reached the Sky Realm but now broke through to the Star Tier without fail!

They also struggled consolidating their new foundation because of that, however. He helped them and realized the strange effects of the Dao were rapidly fading.

Instead, it was now all flowing according to the 18 Altars nurturing the Throne of Defiance as a whole. It made things still stunning to his senses as he felt that a new prize was now open to the tournament.

Anyone trying to improve the synergy in their elements would find a heaven in the Throne of Defiance. The 6 elementals would obviously all benefit from just being there as well.

He quickly adjusted a few brackets and began to study the Altars. He only had a decade left and people were coming. Support staff he had recruited would arrive in just 5 years!

He prayed to the spirits to give him a break and no more surprises until then!
