Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 1321 - 1320 - Divine vs Immortal

Chapter 1321 - 1320 - Divine vs Immortal

The revelations from Divine Creator were a lot to swallow for Lind but he had to file it away as the man moved on.

"Now, I think I know your problem, although you should understand part of it. Your elements are now far more advanced than you." He nodded at the words.

Half-step Dao was self explanatory. It meant he had pushed his elements far beyond the limits of even the Sovereign Tier.

"The good news, for you at least, is that you are uniquely capable of still using them instead of being forever stuck in your current realm. Your harmony is part of it but also experience. Do you remember what you told me about the Soul Realm and World Realm discoveries?" Lind was confused.

What did such low realms have to apply to his current circumstances?

He thought about them and the struggle he had to try and keep his cores and fonts ahead of his foundation in many regards. The World Realm was actually easier as the fonts fed into–

He sat bolt upright as the Divine Creator smiled at him.

"I do like bright children." The much more youthful features made such a statement usually absurd but it was likely that the being in front of him was billions of years old.

More tea appeared suddenly and the young looking man sipped at it with a smile like the cat that ate the canary!

"Your solution to the Soul Realm problem was quite good, but you overlooked how it changed in the World Realm. The fonts now forged the foundation like the others but the quality of that foundation still had to be balanced. By that time, you were doing it out of instinct." Lind felt so foolish!

The issue of the fonts and his foundation had still existed but because he had trained so hard in the Soul Realm, it became second nature at the next steps!

The Sky Realm had a slightly different issue but the fact remained the World Ream was the key!

His eyes became unfocused as his mind dove into a parallel path of thought.

The fonts forged the foundation of the World Realm but now his elements had gone far beyond that but were still connected to his harmony.

His foundation now fueled them!

His experience in the Dao room took on a new aspect. His dantian crystal flared with emerald Qi and he began to see gradations in the 6 centers of elemental power.

A towering mountain of flames. A burning sun of light. A twister of unrivaled power. An endless ocean. A slab of earth stronger than any metal. An endless void.

The words flowed into his mind and his understanding of his issues became clear.

Divine elements could not be controlled by an Immortal no matter how hard they tried but he was not looking for control. He wanted to understand.

As he looked at the 6 centers of elemental power, he noticed something new. There was a vast area beyond his reach, but woven into it were areas happily answering him. Elemental power flowed into his dantian unlike anything he had felt before.

He could freely control and transform it! Demonic, natural, and Celestial danced in the palm of his hands but it was far stronger than the Radiat Tier he was used to.

It was all about resonance with his foundation like it was long ago. Tempering his elements to stay ahead of his foundation came back to him. His elements were now firmly ahead and he could only access part of their power safely.

Immortal elemental power flooded his meridians until all 6 were dancing in his palms! He quickly tried to make elixirs and found it vastly easier than before. He had been trying to use power far beyond him but now he could work once again!

Divine Creator was actually looking shocked with his jaw open as Lind moved on to Forging and weaving. He combined his professions and felt previous restrictions were lifted that had held him back.

His Pseudo-Dao creations were far easier than before! It still consumed massive amounts of Qi and his Laws were hardly sufficient but he could pull it off! It was far more consistent than ever before!

He exhausted his current reserves but a set of glowing elixirs sat in front of him with a handful of artifacts. One of them was a bracelet storage treasure that even Sovereign Tiers would sell their souls for!

"You told me of your skill but even my best estimates were put to shame. You are a monster, you know that?" Divine Creator was now much closer to him but Lind could not back off with the couch back behind him!

Lind looked at his creations and was not just shocked but flabbergasted at what he had done.

He had made pseudo-Dao items before but just barely. What was in front of him was a consistent and perfect recreation each time! He had not been able to do that before!

There was an elixir of crimson, azure, and bright green. Restoration, Recovery, and Invigoration elixirs!

They were incredibly powerful and dangerous for Immortals. Just what had he become?

Divine Creator picked up one of the items and nodded with appreciation.

"You will do well in the Divine Realm lands. Just to let you know, a peak Sovereign Tier would find these most useful as well. They might even cross the boundary with the help of these." A headache assaulted Lind at that moment and the soul smiled at him. "There is always a price, little dragon. Still, you should recover quickly."

Exhaustion was claiming him but Lind could not fight it. He had let his desire overpower his caution as he passed out on the couch.

The strange dragon passed out but he felt the danger. If he tried to act in any way inappropriate, the spirit in the ring would act. Further, he felt like Heaven and Earth were watching over him.

"You are still annoyed that he avoided you?" Divine Creator turned with a smirk to a potted plant in the corner. It was a healthy piece of Silverwood Apple Blossom. A very rare and highly sought after grade 8 fruit tree.

The air shimmered and a very tall woman appeared with a humble look on her face as she knelt in place.

"I have never had a lowly Immortal evade me before. Further, he had seemingly bottomless reserves. Is he the one?" Divine Creator wished he was but he shook his head.

"He can never inherit my legacy. He is incompatible with us all. The path he walks we do not understand. Yet, I wish to the spirits he had been born a few billion years ago. Maybe the Fiend War could have been averted." Shock crossed her features but he became far more domineering in the next moment.

"I know you, Little Sprout. You feel the need to follow what our creator tasked us with but the Inheritance is limited in how it can help him. I have already passed him on the third trial and I would say he has gotten a far better reward." The forest spirit frowned but then saw the table.

She stumbled as she picked up the elixirs and artifacts. She looked at the signature and nearly dropped them.

"W–what is this?! How can a Divine Maester be in this backwater world?" Divine Creator smirked at her but said nothing. She would not believe him if he told her. While the title was premature, the signs were all there.

The boy would skip right past grade 8 and become a Dao Grade expert on his ascension.

"Nevermind that. What do you think of this?" He handed over a profoundly powerful jade slip to the spirit. She examined it and felt like her soul left her body prematurely!

"Wh–how?! How has such a profound shift not been discovered before now?!" He laughed as he sipped at his tea and pointed at the sleeping dragon.

"It explains why we have had a higher success rate than expected. His foundation has been spread across the realms here. I want him to be granted a Guardian." Before she could respond a dark skinned bald man appeared.

"You dare?" Both of them felt a chill down their spines looking at the tool spirit. A True Lord spirit. Why was one in the Celestial Fields?

"Senior–" The man stopped Divine Creator from speaking further.

"You know my limitations here and my Master has no interest in more than what he has gained. I am grateful for your help but do not interfere more than that. I will not allow it." He then focused on the tree spirit. "I have no harsh feelings about your actions as I understand but do not cross my bottom line."

She quickly nodded and he vanished back into the ring.

Divine Creator doubted the dragon knew what that ring truly met. The fact the spirit had recovered to such an extent after the price it had to pay to bond to such a weak True Lord was stunning in its own right.

"I do not have enough strength but he has the mark. Let the others know he is a promising seed." The spirit nodded and vanished. Divine Creator sighed. "All our plans and schemes but Heaven and Earth seem to be several steps ahead."
