Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 1274 - 1273 - Laying the Foundation

Chapter 1274 - 1273 - Laying the Foundation

Lind made no mention of his meeting with the senior roc. Among other things, he had an Oath to keep, but the elder aether beast had earned his rest in his mind.

The 2 villages would know his actions were sanctioned. Din and the others had made the minimum preparations to live in the main cavern. Now, it was time to get to work!

The Forging area was his first stop and he was not alone. There were 3 women and 2 men looking on as he gathered the materials into specific piles.

"These slips have the blueprints I want you to start with. I will be working on the preparation for what we need next." He trusted them to get working as the furnaces were lit. Flames licked to life and the cold was pushed back harshly from the room.

While the ore the group had was warming up, Lind was taking vastly different actions.

His hands held several ores that became molten just in his grasp! The Heaven Realm Forgers paused in their work in shock as he worked.

They were all Immortal Grade experts even at the Sun Tier but watching Lind left them in awe!

"Do not look away from your work. I will give lessons later." He reminded them it was not a teaching session as he manipulated the ores into an alloy like playdough. He internally smirked at his words.

How often had he pestered his own Masters for lesions just watching them work?

He was making a rather basic Immortal alloy but pushing its grade to his best ability. Elements and Laws danced in his control.

It was not complex as it was a base material, not the finished product.

Still, it was just as important to create the materials they would need to truly begin their plans.

A profound aura began to emerge from his hands but he could do nothing about it. The molten metal began to separate into identical slips that fit in the palm. The mass made hundreds of them but it was perfectly stacked with a few flows of air and water to cool them evenly.

"L–lord Founder, what is that material?" One of the women spoke up but he saw she had finished making what he had asked her for. They were rods at the peak of Immortal Grade.

He picked up one that was still clearly hot but his hands were fine. His rebuilt flesh was far tougher than any human or dragon's in human form. The fact he no longer had to transform his skin into scales proved that easily.

"This is only 90% merged Star Tungsten. This is how you can get to over 95%--" He then used Celestial and demonic Qi to slightly reorganize it while showing her how to Forge it a bit better.

The others that were making similar alloys observed his work and quickly applied the lesson. Enlightenment crossed one of the younger men who had some beast blood from the way his hair was closer to fur.

His eyes were also not entirely human anymore.

His breakthrough into the Immortal Realm might fully activate the beast bloodline.

He filed away many observations like that but he also was proud of how well they learned from his impromptu lesson.

All of them were making rather basic shapes with powerful alloys respectively. Once several neat stacks or bundles were set aside, they were ready for the hard part.

Lind took the palm sized plates he had created. While it was made with his expertise, it was not difficult to do with several methods. He was just faster with all 18 elements.

He took them over to the weaving area and used the angled prep tables to set up rows of them until he was surrounded by a semicircle of the plates.

A different group gathered around him. One of them was a 6 elemental. He had bright orange highlights in his eyes and hair but Lind noticed his harmony was very faint compared to most.

It was not weak at all but the first harmony tied directly to weaving.

It was a possibility that guiding mortals so early had led to that harmony but he suspected it was leaning towards soul Arts to start and weaving fell well into that category.

"Focus on one plate and I will have you replicate it for the next batch." His fingers glowed as he placed 3 bags of crystals in front of each panel. The crystals lit up as he pulled them up to make up the sigils he placed on each plate.

The alloy he had created was a variation of formation and weaving plates. Usually, it was just a medium to conduct whatever effect the formation and weaving was intended to make.

Combat formations worked better with catalytic materials whereas defensive or support formations did better with durable materials. Healing formations did far better with jade than any metal while wards were better with elemental material.

Lind had used different metals to incorporate all 18 elemental options. It was not too hard now but it took centuries of experiments to learn what would take it.

Each sigil seemed to sink into the alloy before lighting up with faint traces connecting the next one. They floated just above the surface until he finished the last in the chain. The plates lit up with emerald light before a sinuous dragon appeared on each one with distinct scales on them.

He then tested one by imbuing his aura into it. It instantly turned emerald on the scales and he felt all the weavings responded like they should. The plate did not do much at the moment but it was key to the next step that would push him to his limits.

"What is that alloy, Lord Founder?" The group asked the question again and he smiled.

"It is the result of a lot of frustration on my part until an accident occurred when my wi–" Lind froze as he was about to talk about Annabelle but he coughed and pushed the pain aside.

"Anyway, it is Braided Spirit Bronze. It is able to use any element for weaving with nearly 80 to 90% efficiency. Here, try them." The group took a plate each and various colors appeared to the shock of them all.

The weavers quickly understood most of what they did and looked at him in shock.

"Lord Founder, what kind of token is this?" He smiled as they were close but not quite right.

"It is not a token, it is a key. It is also impossible to fake or misuse but we will cover that once I make the main thing next. You 3 will start replicating what I made until all the plates are consumed." The weavers got to work.

He knew many of them wanted to know how he did it so easily as they struggled to replicate what he had done. The crystals had to be picked up by them and they used tools to create their sigils while imbuing their soul power.

The sole exception was the 6 elemental who was able to partially mimic Lind.

He smiled before turning back to the piles of items made by the Forgers. He took 2 rods, 3 anchors, and several crystal films. His Qi was making them float as he moved to the cavern entrance.

The time had clearly passed as the storm was at its peak once more. Aside from Lind, only the beasts could survive out there. He actually appreciated that as it would test his theories.

Compared to the simple work before, he would be fighting the Icy Path's nature directly next. It would be like a war.

He sighed before he walked into the ice storm. A layer of ice tried to form on his body but it was like it could not find any purchase on his body.

The items, on the other hand, were instantly turned into popsicles. The humor of the situation came to him as he had overlooked that particular issue.

He did not bother conjuring any fire of any elemental system as the Icy Path could snuff that out with ease and only make him consume Qi at a terrifying rate.

Instead, he used water and darkness to control the ice to free his items. While it was easier, it still consumed a lot of his Qi to do it as the Icy Path would not relinquish its hold that easily on its prime material.

Snow and ice were the Icy Path's domain alone.

He placed the 3 anchors equidistant around the cavern entrance. They were essentially stone and metal slabs with slots to insert the rods or the crystal film. He quickly attached the rods and stretched the film across.

It was the work of a few moments but half his Qi was gone! He had not recovered from his work but the majority of it was consumed just setting up the items!

He increased his speed until a screen was set up. The ice tried to encase it the whole time yet he kept it off until he fused all the items together into one. He could feel eyes looking at him not only from the cavern but from the dark as well.

He smiled as what he was about to do would send beasts running. His hair lit up as sigils began to be engraved quickly while at the same time his hands lit up to infuse Qi and sigils onto the screen.

He felt dimensions flex around him and resistance was far more than he expected. He had severely underestimated what he was trying to do but it was feasible! He pushed his control of the dimensions as the sigils seemed to flow into the screen without any sign of them stopping.

Sweat actually streaked down his face as he strained to keep it all from collapsing. It was working slowly but surely until at long last the screen changed. Intricate sigils appeared and the crystal film blazed like a sun.

He was sent tumbling as the force was far more than he expected!

"Lord Founder!" He laughed as he was laid flat out on the cavern entrance. He looked up and was barely able to use his Eyes to confirm the screen was stable and working!

"Get him elixirs!" The clan members were panicking but the sole exception once more was the 6 elemental weaver. He was staring at the screen and looked down at Lind in pure worship.

"Did you just make a special realm for the Clan?" His question froze the rushing figures but Lind shook his head.

"It is not a special realm, it is our foundation. It is where the new Frey Clan branch begins." He did not explain how the pocket dimensions were different from realms, but there would be time. He had made it work and it was holding!

He had to recover and prepare the next screen. One would not last long in the Icy Path! He had lot of work ahead of him!
