Chapter 1261 - 1260 - Soul Dance
Chapter 1261 - 1260 - Soul Dance
Lind spoke his feelings but when he gave the command, all the various weavings did were launching into the scars. They had but one function yet they worked in concert.
Fiend Qi. The weavings channeled after the Fiend Qi in all its forms in each scar and began a process of refining it back into natural Qi. That was but one part of it. Once the purified natural Qi existed, the weaving would then combine the natural Qi and demonic Qi into Celestial Qi!
His harmony made it possible!
The cycle was slow but it began to increase in speed. Still, the swarming of Fiend Qi reacted but the smaller scars were closing!
They were just too restrictive for the Fiend Qi to overcome his weavings.
The large scars, however, were a different story. They were never going to heal from his current attempt.
The weavings did similar actions but they also did one additional act.
The dragon in the top exerted his full harmony itself. The Dao of Defiance was barely grasped by Lind, yet it was enough to embed into the potent Fiend Qi there. Compared to the other scars, it was a drop in the ocean but it was a beginning.
The lower scar was more interesting. Rather than just create Celestial Qi, he applied all the Celestials had taught him to the lower scar itself!
The Fiend Qi was still potent but was quickly put in check by the humanoid weaving! It was a stalemate but still enough to let Celestials be born in greater numbers!
Lind still put his all into it and it was going well. It was only when the upper scar reacted that his sensations became chaotic. What was going on?!

Chu was in the Frey Pavilion next to Mira. She looked with concern at her Mother-in-Law as the woman was wafer thin and seemed to be disconnected from the world. Ever since Lind died, she had lost all hope in her eyes.
A thousand years had passed but none could help but sympathize with the woman. Lind Frey had become a legend in the 3rd layer. Despite his distant attitude, he had many admirers until he became more personable at the end.
She had been nervous about meeting his family for many years but in the centuries since they ascended to the 2nd layer, they had been warm and welcoming. It was only when Annabelle revealed that Lind was acting cold that they came pestering to her.
She did not know what happened but their bond remained strong. That was, until the day he died.
She felt honored that he had put everything on the line facing the Sovereign Tier Fiend. The only wife to be remotely close to her feelings was Ethry. Both women were bestial perspectives that saw dying for the good of the clan as a good thing.
Still, she missed him. Mira was pale and rail thin despite being a Radiant Tier. Chu scooped up some soup to feed her when her heart suddenly throbbed.
It was familiar! Her emerald and black eyes lit up as Mira also suddenly perked up.
"My son?" Mira looked around and became more lively but Chu could only shake her head. The disappointment pained her but then the feeling increased!
The dark wooden doors of the quarters burst inward as a gorgeous demoness with 2 short swords stomped in.
"Do you feel it, Sister Chu?" Cyntilla was like a little girl all of a sudden. The stoic and implacable warrior was missing!
Her virulent green eyes sparkled but before Chu could even respond, a servant came sprinting in. The young man was in simple crimson robes but was smiling ear to ear!
"The Fiends have retreated! They are suddenly weaker for some reason!" Surprise spread on their faces but Cyntilla suddenly beamed even more. Her lavender skin seemed to gain a luster that had been missing for centuries.
"Lind! He is alive!" Chu wanted to know why she assumed the Fiend retreat was related to Lind being alive when a roar filled the air.
All 3 women moved as one to look up at the misty skies of the Endless peaks. A faint phantom filled the skies as an emerald dragon appeared and looked down at them all.
Chu narrowed her eyes as her dantian suddenly felt impossibly full. It was like she was ready to breakthrough!
Shoti with her short green hair and white battle dress came flying down with a smile.
"All the 6 elementals are suddenly cultivating. They claimed inspiration all at once!" Chu spread her aura and was shocked to see every single 6 elemental in the lotus position. One or two might be possible, but an entire segment of the cultivation world?
A buzz from her storage ring drew her attention as reports came flooding in. It was not just the 3rd layer! It was everywhere!
What was going on?!

The rest of the Celestial Fields had the same questions as Chu. Feng and Tal looked on as the Frey Clan had all their resident 6 elementals massively improved in a few moments.
Across the entirety of the Celestial Field, 6 elementals and Celestial cultivators found their foundations leaping forward by massive amounts.
Fiends, on the other hand, felt like their very existence was on the chopping block! The feeling of power they always enjoyed over the other races seemed to vanish in an instant!
No one knew where it came from but it was like an irresistible force washed over all battlefields. The Fiends felt their power suddenly be crippled and had to flee.
More, the members of the Frey Clan felt their blood be invigorated but only a few recognized the effect. Elders that recalled their grandfather's unique harmony felt tears in their eyes.
His love and words were with them always. They felt young again as bottlenecks seemed to vanish and a few felt they could take the next step in their cultivation journey!

The Heaven Realm Lands, once ripped apart by the Fiend War eternally, had become more balanced.
Humans, demons, and the other races now fought over resources, pride, and so many other reasons but one empire was left alone.
The Sanctuary Empire had been only founded a few thousand years ago but its power was horrifyingly high in such a short time. The foundation of its power extended to its allies and made an alliance of power even the Fiends, in all their horrific power, could never break even at the height of their power.
The wicked powers gave strict orders that provoking that empire was forbidden. Any member that did so would be abandoned in an instant!
Still, powers may step around it but individuals did not care.
A young woman and man were bleeding heavily as some demons sneered over them. They were injured as well but it was clear that the prismatic robed couple were going to die.
"You should have quietly accepted the inevitable, but now you will die." It was a cliche line from the demon with his sword dripping in blood but the woman stared daggers at him. Her quiet blue eyes still held hope.
She had sent for help but it was too short a time since that happened.
The pair embraced each other to accept the end when their robes lit up like the sun!
The demons were blinded as a roar was heard. The couple were mystified as the construction of the robes were standard. What was going on? A life saving artifact they did not know about.
The Sanctuary Empire had used the symbol of a sinuous dragon as its emblem. Each symbol was inscribed with pre-determined formations and engraved at times if a weaver could do so.
The pair were not high up in the empire but the robes were issued to all members of the Emerald Cloaks initiates. The power flowing in the various worlds resonated and triggered a reaction normally impossible without its original creator!
The man and woman felt power flow in their bodies and they flew into the air!
They were not alone as they saw other balls of emerald light rising up as they flew back to the empire proper!
At the heart of the empire, a structure that had been sealed for thousands of years had sigils light up and old protection weavings activated that revealed spies in the empire capital!
The Emerald Cloaks roared in joy as the legends of their founders made it clear who was responsible for such power. The Emperor! The Emperor Frey had reached out across the realms to remind all of why the Sanctuary Empire was to be feared.

The myriad mortal realms had the most drastic changes. While not all had wars going on, those that had yet to have higher realm cultivators spread Lind's elemental theory to solve the issue of 6 elementals, it was no longer needed.
In all worlds, every 6 elemental suddenly instinctively understood how to breakthrough to the World Realm successfully. Tempering Soul Cores became as easy as breathing!
In the Southern District of the Lotus Empire, the ancient Frey Clan stood a shadow of its former glory.
All power wanes but in mortal worlds it can happen far faster than in the higher realms. World Realms only live a few centuries and they cannot resist the peak of Diamond Tiers or the 1st Tier Sky Realms that lorded over them.
The old promises were long forgotten but an old man, raised on the legends of an impossible boy, found an old elixir vial never used in the treasury.
The crimson, black, and gold of his robes showed he was the Clan Head but he felt it all become insignificant as the liquid in the vial shimmered with golden flecks. What were those? Why had the elixir changed?
He knew it was for a dire injury to the soul of a cultivator but the person who made it warned to only use it as a last resort. Yet now, it called to him. For some reason he felt a strong desire to kneel.
A flash of emerald suddenly came from the vial before it calmed down. In that flicker, the world changed! The old man felt inspired! He felt like the Frey Clan could become so much more!
A smile spread as he ran out with a lighter step than he had in centuries!
The effect of Lind's weavings reached all worlds but while many felt inspired or afraid depending on their alignment, there was one world that had the most dramatic effect of all.
The Northern Black Ice Peaks of the Divine Lands.
