Chapter 1182 - 1181 - Crystal Tier Battle

Blood Talon was screaming as streams of impurities and vile Qi was expelled from his body. Lind was woozy and unable to stand but things were in a stalemate.

His elixir would not last forever but it was buying time for his body and harmony to purge the Radiant Fiend Qi in his body.

Both men were grim but refused to back down. Draconic pride finally asserted itself in both as they glared into each other's eyes.

"You are weak! You are just a weak man that is pretending to be a dragon!" Lind knew dragons could recognize him on sight but Blood Talon seemed to know it all!

"You betrayed the race and refused to accept your consequences! You ran away from life!" Lind may not know the details but those that believed the Fiend promises were all the same. They simply wanted to live forever without putting in the effort!

They all wanted to simply let life flow into them no matter the cost!

Blood Talon swiped with his free arm but all the strength had gone out of him. He could not even scratch Lind's skin.

Lind looked sickened and was pale but he finally felt something stir in his ring he had not felt in some time.

[Master, I am trying to heal but you are always doing something so dangerous.] Haro faintly appeared and struck Blood Talon away. The man finally sailed away and his hand was removed from Lind's arm.

His harmony blazed like a sun as Haro faded away. He was hurt!

He thanked the spirit in his heart as several elixirs were downed to recover himself.

Blood Talon simply absorbed some of the lake and quickly returned to his peak as well. They were back to square one!

"So, you hide behind weaklings as well. You are no True Lord of Dragons!" Blood Talon launched across the lake and Lind covered his body in emerald scales. He could not hold back nor run due to the Void of Heaven!

Shattered scales met emerald in a collision that made the very air distort! Stone shattered like glass as the blood lake was splattered across the widening room!

There were no complicated Arts or conjuring. There was no blast of flames as neither would be bothered by them. Just fists and blood!

Lind struck with his full strength as his muscles rippled in his skin. The already weakened scales on Blood Talon were nothing but his flesh healed at a rate visible to the naked eye.

His own scales held up better but Blood Talon was causing vibrations to damage his organs! The 2 men were just striking each other without any reserve!

The cavern around them cracked and the ceiling began to collapse inward. Neither cared as they could not be bothered.

Lind felt his teeth rattle in his skull as his limbs creaked from the impacts of his foe, but Blood Talon was not much better. Although he was healing enough to endure, his scales were entirely shattered.

Neither being would bend and suddenly gray clouds appeared above them. Both paused as they took stock and found half the mountain shattered!

"You are weak! You cannot defeat me!" Blood Talon sneered but Lind had no need to respond. He knew his authority would have no effect at that moment but he was more than a True Lord.

He transformed into a dragon and Blood Talon followed suit. They were 2 massive beings in the sky as the rest of his clan returned. Lind no longer cared about that. He roared and shook the sky but the Void of Heaven was not the only issue in the lands he was in.

The Fiend Qi was running rampant without restraint and the other elements were too damn thin!

The 2 dragons shattered stone and earth like it was so much glass! The mountain that had stood for time untold was completely reduced to rubble in a few moments! The sparse plants were ripped out of the ground as it was carved into.

The other dragons tried to help their leader but the power of the attacks colliding were enough to cause anything below Heaven Realm to burst like a balloon!

Lind expected Blood Talon to at least get angry at that but the dragon only attacked even more fiercely. His blood stained claws glowed as arcs of intent sliced out with lethal power. His own golden claws lit up like the sun as he used sheer power to cancel it out.

The sound of thunder was so constant due to those collisions he could hear little else aside from when the screams of the dying reached him.

A few Immortals tried to attack but Celestial Qi lit up like gold around them and they began to scream. His harmony might have been more effective but it would likely kill them outright.

He was not so kind as to grant them an easy death for all he had seen!

Fiend and Celestial Qi reacted severely to each other so it was his next best weapon. Even then, Blood Talon merely kept using his tail, wings, and claws to attack.

Blood was flying from them both now as his own scales were being breached after taking such a beating.

Sinuous emerald smashed against blood stained shattered scales. Dark crimson was covering them both as they bled like mad.

[Do you care so little for your kin?] Lind could not stay silent but the attacks never stopped. Blood Talon never even glanced around but only intensified his attacks. He was going to die even if Lind did nothing at that rate!

Even a dragon could not survive so much blood loss with Fiend Qi to help as well. There were limits!

Lind tried to find an opening but they were equals in strength. In fact, he was coming off the worse due to his limited experience. He had either been able to over power his foes due to being a dragon or with his harmony enhancing his skills.

Instead of despairing, however, he found his heart racing with excitement!

Emerald flames suddenly covered his limbs and sizzling was heard as they crushed the shattered scales left on Blood Talon. His blood also turned to steam. A roar of pain made his ears hurt but Blood Talon still attacked with his tail like a whip.

Something was wrong. It was suicidal to keep attacking like he was. The price of banishment was true death if his body died! His soul would die with his body so why was he attacking like that?

Lind would be severely hurt but the other dragons were far weaker than him now. They could not harm him in their current state so what was the plan?

Lind used his mane to attack as the fine hairs flew through the air. They were far more powerful than before and proved their worth as even a single arc of intent was blocked by just a single hair!

The downside was both his Qi and stamina were being drained even faster. He had no choice, thought to make the opening he needed.

A glow built in his throat but it was not emerald flames. Lind had to go all out to win!

For the first time, Blood Talon became desperate as he unleashed wave after wave of intent arcs and his own flame breath but the mane filaments fended it all off until Lind ran out.

[DIE!] Blood Talon was bleeding profusely as he snapped forward but Lind only narrowed his emerald eyes as a storm left his throat.

The very air bent around him and suddenly the clouds parted above to let pure sunlight in. The world seemed to freeze as a power greater than Laws suddenly appeared!

Lind had no control of it at that point. He could only recall the sensation of the tribulation barely. He was too weak to emulate it actively but he had learned one thing. Using all he had for one burst would summon something damned close!

[Imitation Dao Storm Blast!] He screamed Blood Talon's death and the dragon actually turned to flee as power unrivaled blasted out of Lind. His scales fractured and blood poured from Lind's orifices.

His throat had gone numb due to the nerves being burnt out! It was too strong!

The blast tracked Blood Talon somehow that even Lind did not understand. Had he included such a feature?

He fell from the sky as Blood Talon screamed in defiance before being consumed in the ball of lightning and pseudo Dao power.

The few surviving dragons tried to run but the fall out caught them as well in their weakened state. Lind briefly wondered if he would join them but the shockwave dissipated quickly as it was a level of power never meant for the Celestial Fields.

He slammed into the destroyed surface as the gray clouds reclaimed the sky. He was alive but heavily wounded.

In all directions, the soil, stone, and life were all transformed. What had been the middle of a decent mountain range was now a crater!

Fires smoldered here or there but there was damn little to burn left.

Lind guided his residual Qi to summon a Restoration Elixir but before he could unstopper it, new pain lanced from his very core!

"The Mistress was right to be wary about you, Lind Frey. That is your name, I believe. I must say I expected that fool to fail entirely but he did his job in the end." Lind slowly glanced above his head to find a frail and blind demon monk looking at him.

How was he alive? He could tell the demon was only a Shard Tier Immortal at best.

"I do not have much time here so I will not waste it. Although I usually enjoy playing with my toys." The chime on the top of the gnarled staff sounded and Lind felt the world nearly slip away! What was going on?!

"Oh ho?! Still existing? Your soul is stronger than expected but a few more attacks should do it." The instant those words left his mouth, Lind focused inward to find a shocking transformation!

His crystal was intact but tendrils of something dark and vile were picking apart his dantian! It was Radiant Tier Qi! He thought he had purged it but it was still there!
