Eternal Emerald Dragon

Chapter 1141 - 1140 - Stonelight Guild

Chapter 1141 - 1140 - Stonelight Guild

Lind and his 2 companions entered a massive open area where any kiosks let customers buy or sell as needed to the guild. There was also a registration area for new experts to become part of the guild.

Lind saw a stairwell upward and moved towards it but a guard stopped them.

"You need to register with the guild before ascending the stairs." Lind moved his cloak aside and his 3 badges glowed with all the colors of the elements he possessed.

The guard quickly confirmed the badges were real and then bowed low.

"Lord Triple Maester, please enjoy our facilities." Lind nodded and the trio moved upward. The crowd thinned considerably but it was still mostly the same. Selling and buying with a few personal aids working with some people in maroon robes.

Lind saw they were members of the guild. The fainter the robe, the lower the realm. He noticed a few of each realm that had special badges on them that marked them as experts able to create above their cultivation.

The trio faced no issue as they ascended all the way to the 5th floor. Immortals were the norm there but Lind noticed a desk with what he wanted at last. A consultation desk.

He got in line with other experts while observing the items for sale with his aura. Pills, artifacts, formation plates, and the rest were all low grade 7 at least. The quality was consistent but not as high as he hoped. The Corruption was holding back the professions more than he had thought even in the ideal environment of the Crimson Harmony Law Crystal.

Lind found several promising products but there were no names attached to them.

The line moved fairly swiftly as only half a day passed before it was his turn.

A beautiful woman with blonde hair and dark eyes smiled up at him. Her skin was smooth as jade but there was a coldness as well. She was immune to the awe of Immortals.

"How may I help you today, senior?" Lind bowed before displaying his badges. One badge did not seem to get a reaction but after he laid the second and third, the woman quickly became lively.

"Lord Triple Maester! Welcome to the Stonelight Guild! How may I help you?!" Her robes were dark gray with a tower on her right breast. It had lines coming out of the top of the tower to show she was a guild member.

"I wish to meet with a fellow elixir maester. Specifically a demon. Is there one available?" The woman frowned but quickly consulted a jade slip to see if she could find one. Time became taut with silence until she smiled.

"Maester Alta is currently teaching for the next thousand years. She is a demoness elixir maester renowned for the last 5 million years. Will she suffice?" Lind had never heard of her but the qualifications matched his needs. He nodded and she looked relieved.

"She is currently teaching in the 7th hall on the 9th floor. She should be done at sunset. Would Lord Triple Maester like to make an appointment?" He nodded and learned he could meet her after class to set up a time to have a deeper talk.

"My disciple here is a bit special as well. She has a physique that may need special assistance. Here are the details." He passed a slip to the woman who quickly reviewed it and then her eyes went wide as she looked at Mills.

"I will contact the Guild Master!" Lind did not want to cause that much of an issue but he did not stop her. It was better to get the leader behind his student rather than fight for her needs.

"My daughter is also a beast bloodline of some power. I am looking for some experts in that field." Another slip and more shock spread on her face but it was easier than before.

"Floor 7 has experts in beast bloodlines and cultivation support. I can recommend Master Karn or Mistress Ord." He knew neither but she handed slips to him to examine.

Both were decent experts but Jur was the one choosing so he showed her the info. She took the slip and the trio bowed to the woman before moving to the side.

Lind was in no hurry as he knew his needs would take time.

Still, it was only a few moments before a man came running down the stairs and the woman pointed at them. He had very short hair with signs of gray in the black hair. His face had no wrinkles but the peak Shard Tier marked him as an expert of the kingdom no matter what.

"Lord Triple Maester, welcome to our guild! I am Master Aron. How can I help you?" Lind bowed and outlined Mills' needs. He nodded and seemed to consider before frowning.

"No current master will be of much help to her but there is an old Maester residing within the 12th floor. He is currently focusing on his cultivation but would be happy to meet with you." Lind doubted that very much but nodded. He wished to meet with the man if possible and the Guild Master nodded quickly.

He rushed off back up the stairs which made Lind frown. Within a building they should be plenty close enough to send a message so why did the man run off?

Jur was unsure of which master could help her but Lind spoke with her and examined the information together.

Karn was an old hand at awakening and refining bloodlines but Jur did not really need help with that. Her bloodline was already very pure and definitely awakened. Ord, on the other hand, was very obtuse.

She was clearly studying bloodlines but her expertise was not clear.

"I think Master Ord will be more helpful to you. She seems more interested in the subject from the research she submitted." The slips included their published works. Master Ord was more of an all rounder but her papers focused on grasping the specifics of a bloodline compared to Master Karn's awakening focus.

Mills seemed very nervous but he reassured her that even if the current Maester was not helpful, they should at least be able to guide her to a place to find support in her kingdom.

The trio did not wait long before a very old man with wispy thin white hair and a long beard seemed to appear next to them. It was not tearing through space but hiding from detection from what he could tell.

He had dark maroon robes with a platinum tower symbol on his right breast.

"Senior." Lind bowed low and the pair followed his lead. A peak Crystal Tier stood before them. The old man's pale eyes were looking at Mills before a smile spread from ear to ear.

"Good, very good. Your Battle Aura is far superior to your realm but there is no instability. Your teacher is very good!" Mills glanced at Lind but he shook his head almost imperceptibly.

The older man looked at him suddenly and frowned.

"Complex elements and a strange foundation. You have problems." Lind bowed and nodded. "May I take her aside?"

Mills looked panicked but he nodded and reassured her it was fine. She went with the Maester and hopefully would secure a source of pills and other needs for the years to come.

Jur made a decision and Master Ord practically came running to meet them. She had mousy brown hair and actual glasses for her jade green eyes. Her robes were in dire need of cleaning but she smiled and talked with Jur until that pair ran off too.

Lind then settled in and began to cultivate a bit. He was not going all out as the barriers of the tower would react but he still could refine his Qi normally if at a much slower pace.

About a month after he started, his instincts woke him up as a woman with a very full figure was next to him! How had she gotten so close?!

She had rich crimson hair in curls while her body was clearly in excellent shape but it all felt hollow to him. Her lavender skin revealed she was a demon.

Her life force was fading to the background as she smiled at him.

"Not bad. I have killed dragons with less but your instincts border on the impossible." She looked younger than most but her vitality was insane! Lind felt like she was a beast in human skin but his aura analysis was clear.

The woman in front of him was almost shocked by his power as well..

He had always been able to fight several tiers ahead, sometimes major realms, but LInd had long accepted the violence of the world.

"Maester Atla, I presume?" She smirked at him before bowing low. Lind presented his badge and the woman smiled wider as she confirmed his standing.

"So what could a dragon want with me?" Maester Atla was a bit annoyed but Lind then summoned all 18 elements and she looked even more intrigued than before!

"My body is not in sync with my dantian. I need to fix it." He tossed her a jade slip that made the demoness pale.

"So what is it you think I can do for you?" Lind smiled as he bowed low to her.

"I want to learn how you use demonic Qi in your creations. I want to understand demonic Qi far better than ever before and incorporate it into my body." His words seemed to rob her of speech but a slow smile spread as she held out her pale hand.

"I suppose we can talk then." Lind smiled as a pocket realm was where he was pulled to. Nostalgic memories of learning from Delenn washed over him but he focused as he saw elixir tools instead of Forging.

"Show me what you have first, then we can bargain." Maester Atla smiled at him but her demands were stiff. He had not created civilian artifacts in quite some time! Lind smiled and accepted the challenge.

It was time to get to work!
