Chapter 1050 - 1049 - New Additions

Lind felt pain.  It was the first sensation when he awoke in darkness.  His entire body was covered in scratches and bites he could not recall a reason for until memory made a very rude and complete return.

He slowly turned to his left and found a gorgeous woman sleeping next to him.

They had no clothes on at all!

She had features of a tiger in ears and fur at places but her pale skin shimmered with very fine scales!  She also had a dragon's tail!  It was not as rough as his own but had the mane like a dragon would.  It was as dark as her fur with bright gold mane!

Her body was voluptuous, more than it had been before!

He thanked the spirits he could tell she was not pregnant as he really did not want to die by his wives forcibly cracking open the 2nd layer by their rage alone!

"I am a walking dead man either way."  He whispered but then froze as he felt another source of warmth on his lower left leg!  He slowly looked down to find a contentedly sleeping Jur hugging her mother!

When did she get there?!  Why?!

Where in all the blazes was Nana?!

He quickly summoned a blanket and covered the pair before frowning at the complete lack of robes in his ring!  They were all gone!

A set of lower robes still survived but he would essentially be topless!

A snickering laugh came from Haro as he put them on but he ignored the ring spirit.  It was not a laughing matter!

Making sure mother and daughter were safe he quietly left the cavern only to find the prone form of Nana sleeping in the narrow passage!  She was curled up as well but acting as a guard or something!

A pulsing in his head was rising but he pushed it away as he isolated sounds for a moment before tapping on her shoulder.

She snapped awake but froze at the sight of him.

"Master!  Do you have an order for me?!"  She was instantly bowing head facing the floor as low as she could go.  He began to massage his aching head before forcibly picking her up.

"First, I am not your master.  Second, I did something extreme to save Priestess Chu's life that resulted in…extreme emotions."  Lind blushed deeply as more memories surfaced.  Pheromones were damned irritating!

All his careful controls were useless when assaulted on all fronts!

It was no excuse but it was part of the cause regardless.  It did not make him any less a dead man!

Sighing, he pulled Nana away from the cavern and back to her own temporary room.

"What happened after I passed out?  What did–what happened to me?"  A flicker of understanding went over her face for some reason.  Had Priestess Chu done that before?!  Why?!

"It is the duty of her clan to propagate but it was always forced on her.  The man that was Jur's father stopped after she was pregnant and never returned.  He–he–"  Lind held up a hand.

He was regretting letting that village live but he had larger issues at the moment.

"Am I to understand that was not normal then?"  Nana quickly nodded which only made his headache worse.  It was his fault then!  His damned dragon blood was like an aphrodisiac to other races!

Illyria was his niece so their bond likely neutralized the problem but he had experienced what effect he had on his wives.  Ethry, however, was a dragon.

They were little better than wild beasts once they let their calmer minds drop away.  It was essentially the same thing!

The woman was obeying a tsunami of instinct from his blood!

A feeling of loathing washed over him as he slowly sat down.  He had to recover but he had to make sure nothing bad happened while he was doing that.

"Listen to me carefully.  Dragons are very possessive.  Jur is fine for obvious reasons but to be safe, keep an eye on them.  I know you are too weak to stop her, but use my presence here to keep Priestess Chu calm.  Do you understand?"  Fear made Nana blanche in front of him but it was necessary to assume the worst.

He sent her away as he focused on recovery only to freeze.  He had broken through?!

He was now at the peak of high Crystal Tier?!  Since when?!

He had been at the peak of mid tier but now he was a whole minor realm up?

A deep flush washed over him as he realized why.  Chu was a Sliver Tier Immortal.  She had just been reborn into a new race and thus, her pure essence was restored.

It was only at that moment he froze.  Her aura had not been a Sliver Tier!

He launched himself up and whipped back to find Nana in a death grip as Chu was staring daggers at her.

"You dare touch my child?!  My husband?!"  Her rage was not under control at all!  Jur was crying but he flared his own aura.  Crystal Tier aura made her stop instantly as she released Nana who gasped in air!

"Shard Tier.  You are mid-Shard Tier now.  Damn it."  It was not the only problem.  Not a single trace of the taint was within her body.  She was cleansed by his harmony just like him!

She would have all her powers restored!

"Priestess–"  A flare of anger made him gulp.  "Chu.  Nana took care of Jur when you were taken away.  She tried to protect her from the other villagers and any threat.  She begged for her to be saved."

It was like a bucket of cold water was dumped over her head.  Clarity finally came to her eyes but it would not hold.  Her mind was too weak.

"Haro."  The man appeared instantly and bound her before anyone could react.  His own power would not work.  She could fight him at his own level!  He could tell just by being in front of her!

"That will hold her for a time, Master, but my own strength is not infinite."  He nodded but Jur came running to stand between them.

"Don't hurt Mama!"  He smiled down at her as he patted her head.

"I am not hurting her.  I am trying to help.  Your mom just went through a great deal and needs help controlling the changes.  Please help Nana, ok?"  He saw her slowly think about it before nodding and moving to Nana.

It made Chu instantly strain against her bonds as instinct took back over.

[Be still.]  The aura in his voice froze her solid.  Unlike other races, she was now part of his.  Dragons had to obey at all costs.

He slowly knelt down and saw the battle of wills going on in her eyes.  He smiled gently before touching her temple.

[Learn.]  His aura flared and their minds entwined.  It was like a compressed lifetime of lessons in ruling his own body.  Dragon instincts were powerful for a reason but they need not rule the person.

It was considered being childish to give in to those impulses as time passed.  A dragon was only considered an adult when they had mastered themselves.

Not all clans lived by how they chose to define control but the rule stood.

Chu finally calmed down and he felt her original self asserting control.  The bands of light dark bindings vanished and she knelt on the ground calmly.

"You are not to blame nor is there any shame.  You are my mate.  You are yourself too.  Treasure the new life you have."  He could feel the power in her body.  She was something else but he did not know if a name existed for it yet.

Dragon Tiger did not make sense but it was essentially what she was.

"Shadow Scaled Tiger."  She suddenly spoke as if hearing his questions.  He arched an eyebrow before she smiled and bowed towards him.  "I heard a voice, Lord Husband, that told me what I was.  I am a progenitor like you."

The moment he confirmed that he felt something shift as he looked to his right.  Jur was looking at him in wonder before a smile spread on her face.

"Are you Papa?"  A pain pierced his chest.  He could not lie to her.

"I would wish it were so, Jur.  I am not the one that granted you life.  If you will have me, however, I will happily become your papa."  She looked confused at first but Nana smiled down at her gently before whispering to her.

"The Great Lord saved your mother and is now her mate.  He is not the one that gave you life but he is your Papa now."  A smile bloomed as she launched herself into him.  She ripped her tiny head against him and he gently patted her back.

"I have Papa and Mama!  Nana, I have Papa and Mama!"  Tears formed in his eyes as he felt the need for his family so strongly at that moment.

"We have much to discuss.  Chu, you also need to master your new strength and stabilize your foundation.  We cannot waste much time as I have a war to stop."  All 3 women looked at him confused but did not argue with him.

The sect war was raging and he needed to find a way to break the bloodline arrays to stop it.

Time for some quick recovery and lessons for everyone!
