Chapter 130 - 130
Chapter 130 - 130
Back at the Time Nest.
After a long silence, Aishi vanished from where he stood.
He had been away for quite some time—it was only right to check back in.
At the stone steps of the Nest, a petite, delicate figure sat with her hands on her cheeks, looking adorably bored.
Aishi smiled lightly and instant-transmissioned behind her.
"Ahhh—who's there?!"
The moment his hand landed on Chronoa's shoulder, she leapt up in fright.
Her face flushed with panic until she realized who it was.
Aishi chuckled. "It's me."
"Eh?"
Seeing it was him, Chronoa sighed in relief, patting her chest. "Aishi… you scared me!"
Aishi smirked. "What guilty thoughts were you lost in to be so jumpy?"
Chronoa rolled her eyes. "You're the one with guilty thoughts."
Then, taking a deep breath, she said seriously:
"It's about the former Supreme Kai of Time."
Aishi's eyes narrowed. "…Aeos?"
Chronoa nodded.
"She's trying to erase some timelines again."
Aishi nodded in understanding.
Chronoa continued:
"Of course I refused. But she won't let go of the idea—she wants war with me!"
"War, huh?" Aishi smiled faintly. "And then?"
Chronoa sighed. "Alone, I can't beat her. I've been thinking of what to do."
Aishi offered calmly: "Need my help?"
She shook her head. "No. If I need you for everything, then I don't deserve to be Supreme Kai of Time."
Aishi gave a small nod.
Then Chronoa asked, curious: "And what about you? How did your battles go?"
Aishi replied: "Demigra turned into the Dark Tree… Mechikabura seems to have gotten much stronger somehow."
Chronoa's face grew grave. "That serious?"
She had thought Aishi could handle it all alone. But clearly, things had escalated beyond expectation.
She thought for a moment—then suddenly gasped.
"I just remembered—the Dark Dragon Balls!!!"
Aishi frowned. "Dark Dragon Balls?"
Chronoa nodded heavily.
"A very long time ago, Mechikabura forced the early Namekians to create them. That's likely how he powered up so much."
"Namekians again…" Aishi muttered, frowning. They truly were everywhere in history.
Chronoa looked at him, her tone soft. "Be careful, Aishi."
He nodded. "I know."
After chatting a while longer, Chronoa's curiosity returned.
"By the way, those little angels you've been… getting involved with. Did you really?"
She leaned closer, eyes sparkling with gossip.
Aishi gave her a strange look. "Why do you care?"
Chronoa grabbed his wrist and shook it. "Come on, just tell me!"
Aishi sighed. Why was everyone so interested in his private matters?
He glanced at her and teased:
"What about you, then?"
"Ah?!"
Her face instantly turned red. Steam practically rose off her head as she froze in place.
Her heart pounded. Did… did that mean he liked her?
Chronoa panicked like a single-celled creature experiencing feelings for the first time.
Finally, she forced herself to speak, her cheeks scarlet.
"No! That's wrong, Aishi. You should treat every girl with sincerity!"
Aishi chuckled. "I do treat everyone sincerely."
Chronoa glared. "With so many women around you, how is that sincerity?! You just want to give everyone a home, right?"
She huffed. "Anyway—I'm not an option!"
"Why not?" Aishi asked, amused.
Her cheeks glowed. "Because I said so! There doesn't need to be a reason."
Aishi smirked. "I think it's possible."
Chronoa pouted. "I don't care what you think—I said no!"
Before she could argue further, her eyes suddenly lit up with an idea.
"Wait! Maybe not me… but Aeos!"
Aishi raised an eyebrow. "Aeos?"
Chronoa nodded rapidly, excited.
"She's always trying to erase timelines and pick fights—it's because she's too idle! If she had something else to focus on… like a partner… she wouldn't be like that."
Her eyes gleamed mischievously at the thought. The mighty Aeos submitting to someone—what a sight that would be.
Aishi watched her expression and sighed, raising his hand—smack!
Chronoa yelped, clutching her forehead. "What was that for?!"
"Don't drag me into your bad ideas," Aishi said flatly.
Chronoa stuck her tongue out. "I was finding you another girl, and you're not even grateful."
Aishi's voice went cold. "Keep talking like that, and I'll turn you into a woman myself."
Her face flared crimson. "Don't you dare!!"
Aishi laughed. "Relax. I'm joking."
Chronoa blinked, stunned, then realized from his teasing smile that she had been tricked again.
Her heart sank for no reason—then she quickly shook her head, flustered.
Why was she feeling disappointed?!
"Watch your words, Aishi!" she huffed. "Stop making people misunderstand!"
Aishi smirked. "Then stop overthinking."
"I'm not overthinking!" she shot back immediately.
He let the topic drop, shifting instead.
"What about the Time Patrol?"
Chronoa blinked. "On missions. Why?"
"Nothing," Aishi said, shaking his head.
Just then—
A voice thundered across the entire Time Nest.
"Chronoa! Your Time Patrol has been restrained. I'm coming for you now. Prepare to die!!!"
The voice was icy cold, dripping with murderous intent.
Chronoa's face changed. "Aeos!"
Aishi's eyes flicked toward the horizon, calm. "Indeed. Someone is traversing the timelines toward us."
Chronoa's fists clenched, her expression tight. "Why is she here again?"
Moments later—
The sky ripped open with a crack of space-time, and a figure stepped out.
Aeos.
She wore the robes of a Supreme Kai of Time, much like Chronoa. She too was petite and delicate—adorable at first glance.
But her eyes glinted with icy malice.
"Again we meet, foolish woman," Aeos sneered.
Chronoa's face twisted. "What did you just call me?"
Aeos smiled cruelly. "Foolish, stupid, naive, and childish."
Four insults at once.
Chronoa nearly exploded with anger. "And you're—mad, arrogant, vile, and brainless!"
Aishi: …
Aeos scoffed. "I've no time for your squabbling. Save your words."
Her gaze shifted toward Aishi, studying him. Then she smirked and said to Chronoa:
"So now, you've not only grown weak, you've let a mortal cloud your judgment with desire?"
Chronoa flushed with rage. "You're impossible!!!"
Aeos ignored her, eyes locking onto Aishi.
"A pretty boy, huh?"
Aishi blinked. The first time anyone had called him that.
Chronoa wanted to defend him—then suddenly stopped, hiding a mischievous grin instead.
Aeos glared coldly. "I don't know how you wormed your way next to this fool… but if you stay at her side, you'll share her fate!"
Aishi met her gaze, calm. "And what can you do about it?"
Aeos didn't answer. She closed her eyes.
"Haaa!!!"
A blinding light burst from her body.
When it faded, her appearance had changed—
No longer the petite, cute girl—she was now tall, slender, elegant, her aura icy as a mountain peak, her beauty untouchable.
Aishi's eyes sharpened. He instantly judged her level.
"The 9th-dimensional upper tier. Among the Supreme Kai of Time… one of the elites."
