Chapter 127 - 126: The Peerlessly Ferocious Steel Beast

Splashes of blood erupted everywhere. The Steel Beast was like the most terrifying of Slaughter Fierce Beasts, leaving a wide spray of blood mist and mangled flesh in its wake.

The Personal Guards of the two generals, men who could join forces to fight an expert of the Spirit Sect Realm, were easily sliced to pieces by the Steel Beast, their remains scattering in every direction.

The Steel Beast seized the opening and pounced, striking at the Spirit Sect Level Badge Master with its claw.

The Spirit Sect Level Badge Master raised his sword to defend. With a tremendous CLANG, he barely managed to block the Steel Beast’s strike.

Just then, a tail shot out from the Steel Beast’s underbelly and whipped toward the Badge Master. He was instantly sliced in two, and a massive spray of blood erupted in all directions.

"Kill! Kill them all!"

"We will be victorious!"

"With our lord’s protection, we are sure to be victorious!"

The morale of the Badge Masters on Shu Feng’s side soared. They joined forces with the giant species polluters to hunt down the Personal Guards of the four generals, and the tide of battle began to turn in Shu Feng’s favor.

Li Xuan Yi let out a long sigh of relief. "Shu Feng’s trump card, as expected. That monster is truly terrifying!"

As the Steel Beast stared him down, a chill crept into the [Illusion Demon General] Arthur’s heart. He acted decisively, pulling a Black Rose from his robes and tossing it into the air.

The Black Rose bloomed in mid-air, releasing ripples imbued with the power of Divinity. Sacred, powerful columns of light shot out from its petals, forming a cage of light that instantly trapped the Steel Beast inside.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

The Steel Beast frantically crashed against the cage of light, its countless blades slashing at the glowing bars, all to the sound of tremendous ringing. Yet, the cage of light didn’t budge an inch.

The cage of light began to shrink inch by inch, compressing the Steel Beast’s available Space to move.

A savage look flashed in Arthur’s eyes as he cackled, "Haha, this is a treasure granted to me by my Lord! It can seal any enemy! Without this monster, what do you have to fight me with? I will personally shred every last one of you despicable things into a million pieces!"

Without the Steel Beast, the Personal Guards under the command of the Tandu Empire generals joined forces, slaying the giant species polluters one after another and slowly turning the tide of the battle back in their favor.

"Arthur, die!"

With a crazed glint in his eyes, Tage Mulis roared like a rampaging bear and slashed at Arthur.

"Tage Mulis, you worthless trash. You lost to me before, and you’ll lose to me now! I’ll send you to hell to reunite with your family!"

Arthur’s gaze was ice-cold. His body blurred and split into three, all of which thrust their swords at Tage Mulis from different directions.

Unable to tell the illusions from the real thing, Tage Mulis could only grit his teeth, his Long Sword creating a dense web of afterimages as he swept it before him.

Suddenly, alarm bells screamed in Tage Mulis’s mind. He twisted his body just as a Long Sword grazed past his side. The blade tore through his Badge Armor and carved a gash in his waist deep enough to reveal bone.

Even though Tage Mulis had broken through his limits, he was still a notch weaker than the [Illusion Demon General], Arthur. He struggled just to fend off Arthur’s attacks.

’So this is the Power of a Secret Treasure that contains Divinity! It’s terrifying!’

Shu Feng stared at the Black Rose floating in the air, a strange glint in his eyes. ’I have a bit of Divinity in my body too, but I can’t unleash its full power at all. It’s because my own body is too weak. As I grow stronger, the might of that Divinity will gradually reveal itself.’

With a single thought, Shu Feng issued a command. "Activate Two-stage Transformation!"

The Steel Badge on the Steel Beast’s chest flashed. Its eyes began to glow with a faint red light as its body rapidly expanded, countless sharp steel blades extending from its frame.

In the span of a single breath, the Steel Beast had transformed into a six-meter-long steel monster covered in blades, one that bore a strong resemblance to a Xenomorph.

A terrifying, savage, and ferocious aura emanated from the Steel Beast. Anyone who laid eyes on it would understand that it was a truly horrifying killing machine.

BOOM!

The Steel Beast, having completed its Two-stage Transformation, savagely slammed a claw into the cage of light.

CRACK!

With a sharp crack, a fissure appeared on the Black Rose.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The Steel Beast relentlessly attacked the cage of light, and countless more cracks spiderwebbed across the surface of the Black Rose.

After a few more breaths, the Black Rose shattered and dissipated into nothing.

The Steel Beast opened its mouth and, in a single gulp, swallowed the remains of the Black Rose.

From within the remains of the Black Rose, a speck of golden Divinity, drawn by some mysterious Power, attempted to escape the Steel Beast’s body.

A steel ball instantly formed inside the Steel Beast’s body, sealing the speck of golden Divinity within.
