Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy

Chapter 182: How Much She Dislikes Him

Chapter 182: How Much She Dislikes Him

Leia Quinn looked at Craig Landers, momentarily speechless.

Craig Landers put away his phone and held Leia Quinn’s shoulders with both hands.

"Did you see? Cindy, give me some time. I’ll sort things out with her and only keep you in my heart from now on."

The man’s eyes were deep, and his already handsome face became more captivating due to the heartfelt confession.

Leia Quinn’s heart skipped a beat, and she quickly averted her gaze.

Why am I so useless!

He says that, and I believe him?

No way!

Leia Quinn quickly suppressed the turmoil in her heart and broke free from his grasp.

"Craig Landers, wait until you really let go of her to say that."

She wouldn’t be someone else’s shield.

She had her dignity, okay?

Leia Quinn hurried into the restroom, and Craig Landers smiled.

This was the chance she was willing to give him!

Though not the best result, at least it was a good start.

So, the shallow floral offensive was effective.

Craig Landers lowered his eyes to the red roses thrown on the ground and bent down to pick them up.

Then he leaned against the wall, waiting for Leia Quinn to come out of the restroom.

The handsome man holding flowers casually leaned against the wall outside the restroom, drawing attention.

Attracting countless glances and exclamations from passing women.

"President Landers is chasing a woman to the restroom?"

"So envious!"

"..."

On the other end of the line, Selena Taylor directly slammed the phone down.

Craig Landers was with his girlfriend!

Was he with Leia Quinn?

He was using this method to sever ties with her!

How could he!

Leia Quinn, what right does she have to receive Craig Landers’ attention!

Even as a substitute, it’s unacceptable!

The night fell.

Elara Don took her two sons directly to Leia Quinn’s place for dinner.

She feared Damon Hawke might come over again like he did the other day, catching her off guard.

But after the four of them finished dinner and played until the kids were supposed to sleep, Damon Hawke didn’t show up.

Probably not coming.

Elara Don breathed a sigh of relief.

"Alright, darlings, it’s time for us to go home."

Elara Don prepared to take the two kids home.

The two little ones obediently said goodbye to Leia Quinn, then followed Elara Don out of the apartment, not taking the elevator but heading upstairs via the emergency stairwell.

The three of them swayed along until they reached the floor of their own apartment.

Elara Don was the first out of the stairwell, and as her gaze casually swept over, she saw a man standing at her doorstep.

With his height and long legs, who else could it be but Damon Hawke!

Elara Don gasped and hurriedly pushed the two little ones back into the stairwell.

This man, why is he still here at this time!

"Mommy, what’s wrong?"

Bea blinked, asking in confusion.

"It’s Daddy who’s here."

Dominic Hawke, sharp-eyed, spotted Damon’s figure.

Elara Don cursed Damon silently and ran downstairs, holding one child in each hand.

"Let’s go, back to Godmother’s house."

Seems like tonight, one of the little ones will have to stay at Leia Quinn’s place again.

Damon Hawke, such a bothersome pigheaded man!

Upstairs, Damon Hawke vaguely saw Elara Don’s figure.

Immediately, he was full of suspicion.

He pressed the doorbell for a long time, confirming no one was home.

He remembered Elara Don saying Leia Quinn’s place was just downstairs.

So today they moved places, all going to Leia Quinn’s place?

Damon Hawke took out his phone and called Elara Don.

On the other end.

Elara Don had just entered Leia Quinn’s apartment when she saw Damon calling. She sighed deeply and unwillingly answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Elly, you guys aren’t home?"

"Yeah, I brought Charlie to Kiki’s, we’re not going back tonight, you should head home."

Elara Don said.

Damon Hawke raised his eyebrows, "How did you know I was at your doorstep?"

Just now he wasn’t seeing things; he was sure Elara Don had gone upstairs with the two kids.

So, when she saw him at her doorstep, she took the two kids and turned back!

This shows just how much she despises him!

"I guessed, didn’t I? If you weren’t at my doorstep, how would you know we’re not at home?"

Elara Don was startled, annoyed with herself for not being able to stay calm.

Damon Hawke curled his lips and turned to walk towards the stairwell.

"Leia’s place is right downstairs from yours. I’ll come to see Charlie."

He brought things over and couldn’t leave just like that.

He had to see her.

On the other end, Elara Don was surprised, "You’re coming down? No need, I’m returning with Charlie shortly."

Damn man, why is he like a sticky glue you can’t shake off.

If he comes down and sees the two little ones, won’t the truth come out!

After hanging up, looking at Leia Quinn who was holding laundry ready for a shower, Elara Don grabbed her hair in frustration.

Her gaze fell on the two little ones looking expectantly at her, and she said helplessly: "Bea, Charlie, one of you will have to stay with Godmother for now. After I send him away, I’ll come to pick up one of you."

No choice, to prevent Damon from discovering the truth, she’ll have to continue with the strategy from the other day.

The little ones exchanged a glance, seeing reluctance in each other’s eyes.

They didn’t want to be separated!

When will Mommy be able to reveal the truth to Daddy?

"Brother, today I’ll go home with Mommy first."

Bea blinked her big eyes, holding Dominic Hawke’s hand.

Dominic Hawke pursed his small lips, glanced at Elara Don, and mouthed "Okay" under her apologetic gaze.

"Fine then."

Everything revolves around Mommy.

Not sure if Daddy will stay over again tonight.

If he does stay, let brother spend a night with Dad.

After all, brother’s desire for fatherly love is stronger than his.

"Alright, you two better go quickly, lest President Hawke comes knocking on my door."

Leia Quinn hugged Dominic Hawke, urging Elara Don to go first.

Seeing the current situation between the two, she had a feeling her best friend would soon be captured by the great President Hawke’s heart.

There’s an inexplicable sensation of them using the kids to discuss romance.

Exciting!

"Kiki, we’re leaving first. Call if anything comes up."

Elara Don took Bea upstairs.

Both chose safety stairwell.

Only there, Damon Hawke had been waiting for a long time.

"Daddy."

Bea’s eyes lit up, calling out happily.

Damon Hawke stepped forward and lifted him up into his arms.

Bea blinked, feeling the strong hug of his father, his eyes filled with starlight.

Elara Don glanced at the two of them, a hint of complexity in her eyes.

Catching Damon Hawke’s shifted gaze, she quickly looked away, taking the lead in moving forward.

As the three entered the emergency stairwell, they climbed the stairs upwards.

The stairwell was silent except for the rhythm of the three’s footsteps.

In the darkness, it was incredibly harmonious.

A warmth on her arm, it was the man holding onto her.

Elara Don pressed her lips, using the faint light to clearly see the tall silhouette of the man holding one child and supporting her.

Such a sense of security.

Her heart stirred with slight waves, and as Elara Don stepped onto the last stair, she shook off Damon Hawke’s hand and exited the stairwell’s door.
