Chapter 662 – After chase, a lot of work… send help…

The Seer was able to move around now. Well, she should be resting, but her restless movements bothered everyone around her.

This allowed her to move out of the courtyard to see the outside world.

"It's a lot more colourful than I thought..." The Seer almost cried when she saw the beauty of the world again.

"You will be able to go around more now." Yuan patted her back.

"I hope so." The Seer nodded her head.

Meanwhile, Moon Aiko was still being chased by Mei around.

"Do you think they will end soon?" The Seer was curious about their relationship, since they seemed quite giddy.

"Give it a few days..." Dai Lu appeared out of nowhere.

"Auntie~!" The Seer immediately hugged her.

"I didn't think you were hidden here..." Dai Lu knew it was impossible to figure that out, but she still felt bad about the situation.

"You don't have to." The Seer smiled happily. She knew what auntie was thinking about since she was very kind to juniors.

"But days...?" The Seer switched the topic.

"At worst." Dai Lu seriously nodded her head.

"Eh?!" The Seer was startled, since she didn't believe it would take them that long.

"Aiko improved a lot, so Mei will have trouble catching her. Her Beast Core is also bigger than usual, so the only advantage Mei has is her experience." Dai Lu explained the possible outcome of this 'chase'.

"Do you think that Aiko will run out first?" The Seer wanted to create a betting system over this, but she knew that auntie would win it like she would always do...

"What?!" Mei glared at him, making him hiccup from fear.

"Nice!" Moon Aiko immediately changed directions. "Those Treasures are mine!" She already rubbed her hands, but-

"Hold it right there! We are not finished yet!" Me shouted at her, still chasing after Aiko.

"H-hey! We have more important stuff!" Moon Aiko was startled that Mei didn't drop it yet.

"Yes! And that's your ass! Come here you rascal!" Mei prepared her hands to slap Aiko for her mischief!

"No! Don't wanna!" Moon Aiko sped up since this was the fight between life and Treasures!

"..." The trio observed what was happening while munching on some snacks.

"Does this always happen?" The Seer felt like if this happened often she would never grow bored.

"Once in a while, depends on how 'occupied' Aiko is." Dai Lu munched on some seeds since she had enough meat for today.

"Or if you offer her some Treasures." Yuan munched on meat, since she never really had enough time to properly enjoy it.

The life of the Fox Village Elder was abysmal. She pretty much never advanced since she always lacked time for it.

This left her in dust, and she was unable to leave her current post until her lifespan would run out.

"We should move." The Seer dusted her clothes. She wanted to see that chase from a closer distance, since the duo was now very far away.

"Yeah, I'm curious about those Treasures too." Yuan stood up with her.

"Huh?" Dai Lu blinked her eyes. "Aren't you the leader, shouldn't you know what is inside the Treasure Pavilion?"

"No, that is not part of my faction but operated by the mainland." Yuan shook her head.

"..." Dai Lu's lips twitched. Those hungry Foxes! No wonder that the Treasure Pavilion was so shameless about their conduct!

"But now we have their Treasures~" Yuan hummed happily.

"You mean Aiko, since you gave her everything." Dai Lu corrected her statement, making Yuan freeze in place.

"D-do you think we can still negotiate about the terms...?" Yuan almost cried when she realised how much she offered for saving the Seer.

"Do you think Aiko will negotiate?" Dai Lu laughed at her.

"Dammit!" Yuan collapsed on the ground crying.

"Do you still have some snacks?" The Seer nudged her auntie, since this was also entertaining. Not as much as the duo that is already gone, but at least she didn't have to chase this entertainment!

"..." Dai Lu was speechless. "I'm shocked that you are still in the mood to eat more."

"It's not about that..." The Seer whistled innocently.

"You were never this bad..." Dai Lu sighed at the Seer's conduct.

"You are imagining things." The Seer giggled.

Moon Aiko arrived at the site, quickly diving underground through the tunnels.

"Stop it right there!" Mei still kept chasing Aiko.

"We are getting Treasures! Cool your tits!" Moon Aiko cried out since she didn't want to be captured when Treasures was just out of her reach!

"What?!" Mei almost went mad at Aiko's words. "Just because we are partners doesn't mean you can say those things!" She started to throw miscellaneous things at Aiko who kept running away from her.

"Eeeek!" Moon Aiko dodged those flying things, since she didn't want to be accused of breaking them.

A good half day later, Mei was too tired to continue.

"I will get you next time!" Mei fumed.

"I will die by then..." Moon Aiko panted, since she burned a lot of her energy.

"So, what about the Treasures?" Mei looked around, so that anyone could approach them.

"Yes, Jade Fox." A very punctual Fox stepped up.

"We have made a basic summary, but we need more appraisers to finish this job." The very punctual Fox explained as she went over the Spirit Stones and other things.

"A lot less than I expected..." Mei frowned. It seems like either those shitty Elders hid it somewhere or the Fox Village was in dire straits.

"We can also collect Spirit Stones from the Foxes allied with us." The very punctual Fox suggested.

"There is no need, we will figure something out." Mei stopped her, while also grabbing Aiko.

"Eh?" Moon Aiko didn't expect this, since she believed that Mei calmed down.

"And here you have someone that can appraise anything, so make good use of her." Mei handed over Moon Aiko for hard work.

And that was all thanks to the system, since Mei believed it would be able to tell all the Treasures apart, including their effects!

"This is so unfair..." Moon Aiko sniffled.

"Should we settle the score?" Mei narrowed her eyes.

"When can I start appraising?" Moon Aiko rubbed her chin, trying to escape from Mei.

"I need a perfect summary of Spirit Stones and how much we burn daily." Mei suggested.

"There is no need for that, I'm already working on the Protective Array." Chen Shi appeared out of nowhere. "I will reduce consumption to 1/10th and boost its concealing capabilities since everyone already knows the location of this place."

"Is that even possible?" Mei frowned, not believing it would be that easy.

"Yeah, some idiot added things where they shouldn't be, raising the consumption through the roof. It might not be a stretch to say that I will be able to reduce the consumption to 1/20th, but it will take more time." Chen Shi explained.

"Can they do anything without causing more problems?!" Mei was exasperated at their incompetence.

"Don't ask me, I have no idea how this place survived for this long." Chen Shi shrugged before leaving.

"Ugh..." Mei had another headache since she didn't expect this place to be in such an awful state.

"What do you command?" The very punctual Fox adjusted her glasses- Wait, when did she get those?

"Sort the Treasure, command the Muscles Foxes to disassemble as much as possible. Move things into one storage, exchange Spirit Stones for Storage Rings so we can reduce the volume for the continental ships-" Mei kept creating more and more for the Foxes, but nobody complained.

For once since pretty much ever this place suddenly started to work smoothly. There was work for everyone, nobody was slacking off and nobody had any thoughts about wild sex since they had their necessities fully satisfied.

The only one grumbling was Moon Aiko and the Seer.

Moon Aiko because she was locked in the Treasure Pavilion sorting the Treasures and the Seer since she was supposed to recover in peace and not cause mischief to the poor Muscle Foxes.

Most buildings were quickly disassembled by the Muscles Foxes and almost every Fox submitted their Storage Tools for the Fox Village use.

This would normally not happen, but when everyone saw how quickly things were progressing, everyone agreed that it was better to leave this place as soon as possible.

There were probably a few more months before everything was packed, but that was fine for the time being.

There was no movement from the surrounding Sects, except the Southern Sect which sent a few special delegations over to negotiate a peace treaty.

That was only because they treasured a certain Fox that was buried in work...

However, the delegation had to wait, since the Fox Village was in full swing and nobody had time to entertain them.

"Report." Mei commanded as she looked through the papers.

Dai Lu and Yuan were already dying on the side from the amount of paperwork they had to go through in order to fix this mess.

"All Spirit Stones were collected or exchanged for resources. Honourable Rune Cultivator reduced the consumption of the Protective Array to 1/26th, greatly reducing the consumption of the Spirit Stones. This allowed us to buy around 20 years if necessary." The very punctual Fox reported.

"Hahaha..." Yuan laughed weakly since she was under a lot of stress due to the Spirit Stone consumption, but Mei just came along and wrecked everything in her path.

"The suggested time to leave is around 2-5 years. We need to fix the continental flying ships before we do anything. Keep some reserves just in case this will get delayed." Mei nodded her head slowly. "How about buildings?"

"We have shrunk the Fox Village to about 1/1500th. Everything is much closer and our next step would be to reduce the Protective Array. Every Fox has its own house with a garden and necessities. If we reduced those we could decrease the space used further." The very punctual Fox explained what was happening.

"Don't do anything. Keep the Foxes happy and in high spirits, just in case." Mei nodded her head, quite satisfied with this outcome...
