Chapter 1412 - 1452: Taking the Little One to the Company
"After breakfast, Dad will take you to the company, okay? You have been there before."
"Okay."
As long as he doesn’t go to kindergarten or stay home alone, he is happy to be with Dad anywhere.
With the little guy’s shoes on, Jun Moyan carried him downstairs for breakfast.
Sitting in the car, the little guy was quiet, either looking ahead or out the window, not saying much.
Jun Moyan looked at him, trying several times to find something to say, but didn’t know what, so he just watched him all the way to the company entrance without speaking.
The little guy held Jun Moyan’s hand, following him through the company door.
Jun Moyan was tall and had long legs, even when slowing down, the little guy, only three years old and not as high as Jun Moyan’s legs, still couldn’t keep up.
The little guy, understanding, didn’t ask to be carried by Jun Moyan; he used his short little legs to catch up, occasionally needing to run a bit, melting the hearts of everyone in the lobby.
During the half-year when the little guy was one to one and a half years old, Jun Moyan treasured him dearly, almost bringing him to the company every day, keeping him by his side always.
Then, during the next half-year from one and a half to two years, Jun Moyan brought him less frequently.
Later, when he got older, from two to two and a half years, due to Jun Moyan’s personal reasons, the little guy almost became a child left behind, staying in Wu Garden every day, with Jun Moyan barely bringing him to the company. Xiaocha spent most of her time with him at home, but with Xiaocha having to work, cook, and handle various things, the little guy mostly had to entertain himself.
It was also from this time that the father-son interaction and communication became less frequent, leading to their current unfamiliarity.
After two and a half, the little guy went to kindergarten for half a year, and now at three, he hadn’t been to the company.
After half a year apart, when people at the company saw the little guy again, everyone was full of fondness, looking at him repeatedly.
Especially since the little guy began to resemble Jun Moyan more, giving everyone more topics to discuss.
Jun Moyan took the little guy into the elevator, up to the floor where his office was, then brought the little guy into the office.
Looking at the office with its cool tones, Jun Moyan glanced down at the little guy by his leg, thinking he should have brought some toys for him, or at least some picture books.
He truly was not competent, failing to prepare even these.
Jun Moyan immediately called to have someone go outside to buy them.
The little guy walked to the sofa on his own and sat down obediently, while Jun Moyan asked him, "An’an, do you want something to eat?"
The little guy shook his head.
Jun Moyan ordered them to buy something anyway, and after the call, he came to the sofa, sat next to the little guy, placed him on his lap, and asked, "Do you want to drink some water?"
The little guy shook his head again, his eyes wandering around the large office.
"Dad has asked someone to buy some food and toys for you; they’ll be delivered soon."
"Thank you, Dad," the little guy said sensibly, then told Jun Moyan, "Dad, you can go and be busy; An’an can play by himself."
"Dad will be busy later. First, I’ll sit with An’an for a bit."
Both father and son were not talkative, failing to converse the whole way here, and now unable to say more than a couple of words.
Seeing the little guy on his lap feeling a bit uneasy, Jun Moyan picked him up and went to the floor-to-ceiling window.
"So high." The little guy looked wide-eyed at the scenery outside.
