The little bean spoke up again. "Big sister says she’ll never let go of your hand again, Father."
Nong Yan shot him an irritated glare. If not for the circumstances, he would have definitely taught the little brat a lesson. ’Why does listening to this kid make me feel like I’m from a different generation than my own daughter?!’
He turned to the Golden Leopard Beastman and said coolly, "I am, after all, the leader of the number one tribe in Guangshou City. Do you really think a few small fries like you can keep me here?"

"This is Underground Yecheng City. We don’t even need to lift a finger—there are plenty of Wild Beasts for us to command!"
Si Shuo tilted her head, confused. Wei Ce gave her a quick kiss, then snapped his fingers lightly. A giant python plummeted from the sky, landing right in the middle of the Golden Leopard Beastman and his group.
The giant python hadn’t been fed in over two weeks. Its eyes were red with hunger, and the scent of flesh drove it into a frenzy.
Before the Golden Leopard Beastman and his men could even react, the python had already coiled swiftly around them. Opening its massive, blood-red jaws, it swallowed a Beastman whole.
The Beastman’s horrific screams finally snapped the others to their senses, their legs turning to jelly. They struggled violently to escape, but the python was incredibly strong and fast.
The sound of cracking bones, CRUNCH, and the successive, agonized cries of the Beastmen were enough to make one’s skin crawl.
"Run!" The little bean, Da Hai, grabbed Nong Mu and bolted.
Nong Yan and his men followed close behind.
The giant python was busy feeding and didn’t even spare them a glance.
Meanwhile, Ji Liang led the well-fed python back to its enclosure.
"Whoa," Si Shuo said, giving Wei Ce a thumbs-up. "Brother Ce, that move was amazing! Does that mean if we run into powerful beasts in the Southwest Forest, we can just summon them later when we need to fight?"
"That’s so satisfying. These people have the blood of so many on their hands. If they were left alive, who knows how many more innocent Beastmen would have suffered."
Wei Ce ruffled her hair and said with a slight smile, "Shuo, I can only summon them here. I can’t control them."
"The Fierce Beasts in the Beast Fighting Arena are almost all starved for long periods, so they immediately treat the first creatures they see as prey and are incredibly ferocious when they hunt."

Nong Mu pressed her lips together. ’How long had it been since she was cared for so thoughtfully?’
Nong Yan placed the clothes on the platform, then turned and smiled at her. "Mumu, we’re not in a hurry. Take your time and get properly cleaned up. Father’s got everything under control!"
Nong Mu nodded, her eyes rimmed with red, but a small smile touched her lips as she entered the stone hut to quickly wash herself.
The little bean took out a small vial and passed it through a crack in the door. "Big sister, the powder in here is antiseptic and will help with the pain and any infections. Put it on after you’re done washing."
Nong Mu took it and hummed in acknowledgment, unable to voice a word of thanks.
As they waited on high alert, Nong Yan couldn’t help but ask, "Little bean, where did you come from? When you stole my coin purse, was that to lead me to my daughter?"
The little bean nodded. "Big sister has suffered far too much. What did she ever do wrong? The ones at fault are the people who tortured her. I’m sure she’s been waiting all this time for you to come and save her!"
Nong Yan sighed. In truth, ever since Nong Mu had gone missing, he had never given up the search. But he couldn’t lie to himself—he had already prepared for the worst.
To him, Nong Mu being alive was more important than anything else. "Thank you, little one. Do you have a place to go? I can take you with me to the Tongdong Tribe and raise you like my own son."
Da Hai smiled and waved his hands. "No need, my father takes care of me. You just make sure to protect Big Sister. She’s suffered so much, and people will definitely bully her when she gets home. I’ll come visit you guys in a few days!"
