Chapter 329: Seven Guardians in total, and six were here

Chapter 329: Seven Guardians in total, and six were here

"You actually believe him? He’s just talking nonsense!" Off to the side, EmperorPenelope, who hails from the same city as Untold and has a relatively good relationship with him, curled her lips disdainfully.

"Just a guardian would be one thing, but we’ve known for a while that the Blood Clothes Guardian belongs to Dark Hell. It’s not strange for him to have interacted with the ’Chosen One’ that Untold mentioned.

But Untold said there were four women of seemingly high status in the guardian’s room. One is Karin, another is Blood Clothes; you can bet the other two are guardians as well. Do you think this is even possible?"

The others also nodded in agreement.

It’s not that they don’t trust Untold; it’s just that the whole situation seems a bit too fantastical.

These are Guardians we’re talking about! Apart from Karin, who some have seen on the airship, other guardians like Blood Clothes are beings who only appear in legends.

To think that four Guardians would be in a man’s room at the same time—no matter how you look at it, it’s absurd.

"Believe it or not, that’s up to you!"Untold spoke with a touch of resignation, but there was no noticeable anger in his tone.

The truth is, if he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes, he wouldn’t believe it either if someone told him!

"Alright, for now, we’ll give you the benefit of the doubt!" Seeing the earnest look on Untold’s face, everyone else, though skeptical, nodded in agreement.

"Lord Untold, we might be allies, but if you’re messing around with us on something like this, you’re done for!"

"Why would I do that? This is a golden opportunity! A wealth of Ghost Energy, countless Mist Instance items, and even that forbidden power! Most amazing of all, that guy is actually a Chosen One!"

As he spoke, Untold knocked on the room door.

Creak!

The suite’s door made a soft noise and opened from the outside.

At the doorway, no one was visible; only a faint voice resonated from within the room, saying, "Come in!"

The expressions on the faces of those at the doorway soured.

Opening a door remotely like this was child’s play for them. But no one would actually bother to do such a thing. Especially aboard this airship, where the weakest beings were of Ghost King level.

As it stood, a dozen or so Ghost Emperors exchanged glances, all seeing the fury in each other’s eyes.

So arrogant!

A mere Chosen One—according to Untold, the person inside, despite possibly knowing many people, was just a Chosen One, a trivial Ghost Prince at best.

Even if he possessed forbidden power, he was still a being of flesh and blood, not a true Ghost. In the Horror World, ghosts with forbidden powers were extremely rare but not nonexistent.

The pure forbidden power was indeed frightening, but it wasn’t entirely unstoppable—take, for example, the Abandoned Emperor Stone.

The residual power left by Hades might not nullify the forbidden powers but was a unique form of forbidden power itself.

Many powerful beings in the Horror World had studied the Abandoned Emperor Stone and used its power to create items that could suppress the presence of the forbidden.

It was merely suppression; of course, it wouldn’t work on Guardians, but it could suppress the natives of the Mist World—a very rare item indeed.

Lord K, fully aware that Louis possesses forbidden powers, remains entirely fearless, relying on the fact that he too has such an item in his possession. Clearly, Untold and his companions also had such items.

Therefore, regarding Alexander, who had gained a smattering of forbidden powers through a damaged Ghost Pill, they felt envy but no fear.

Now, Alexander was treating them so lightly that he left more than a dozen Ghost Emperors, including at least five inheritance Ghost Emperors, standing outside. He didn’t even bother to open the door with his hand or come out to greet them.

"Utterly arrogant!"With a cold snort, Isolde was the first to storm in, his face flushed with anger.

"Alexander!"

Intending to make Alexander realize the horror of belittling an inheritance Ghost Emperor, Isolde’s aura erupted. His gaze swept across the room, and what met his eyes were Karin, followed by Blood Clothes, Blizzard, and Kui...

Isolde recognized—or rather, knew what Karin and Blood Clothes looked like. But that didn’t matter!

Given the current situation, did he really need to recognize them?

Women who could stand beside Karin and Blood Clothes without the slightest discomfort were clearly no ordinary people. Besides, just looking at their clothes made it obvious—they were of the same kind!

Blood Clothes was in red, Karin in purple... need anything more be said?

"Who are you? What do you want?"Zoe tilted her head slightly, looking at Isolde as she asked.

"I... I..."

Sweat beaded on Isolde’s forehead; his entire body was trembling.

Damn it!

There were actual Guardians here—six of them! Seven Guardians in total, and six were here; Is this some sort of twisted game?

What the Guardians were doing here was something Isolde didn’t want to know, at least for now. His only thought was how to survive.

A light bulb went off in his head, and Isolde hastily exclaimed, "I’m here to see my idol!"

Saying this, he quickly approached Alexander, pulled out pen and paper, and with a look of adoration said, "Idol, could you please give me an autograph? I’m so incredibly awestruck by your feat of killing the Ghost King beyond your level!"

Such shamelessness from a lofty inheritance Ghost Emperor!

From behind, female Emperor Penelope disdainfully pursed her lips. However, under the scrutiny of the six Guardians, she obediently took out her little notebook.

More than a dozen Ghost Emperors enthusiastically held up their notebooks toward Alexander, looking for all the world like a swarm of frenzied, crazed fans.

"Since you have guests here, we’ll leave first," Louis announced after a brief glance at the newcomers.

"Alright, go ahead," Alexander responded without any attempt to detain them.

With other participants present, having six Guardians here was too overwhelming. He didn’t believe for a second that Untold and his entourage had come just for autographs.

"Phew! Finally, they’re gone. Scared me to death! How did you get to know them, Alexander?" Untold sighed in relief and asked curiously.

"We met by chance," Alexander answered evasively, clearly not willing to disclose much.

"If you don’t want to talk about it, that’s fine. Let me introduce you to everyone," Untold said, beginning to introduce those who had come with him.

As he did so, he was also pondering a critical issue: How could he lure Alexander away?

It was obvious that no one could lay a finger on him aboard this airship, especially not while the Guardians were still close by. The only option was to lure Alexander into their territory. Once there, he’d be at their mercy.

The airship was equipped with various items, including those that could issue invitations. These could directly transport people off the ship and even include pickup and return services.

But these items required mutual agreement to be activated. The most significant hurdle was coaxing Alexander to naturally accept the invitation.

Meanwhile, Alexander was also doing some quick thinking. He could see that Untold had ulterior motives. The idea of exploiting this situation began to crystallize in his mind.

Conquering the Third Ghost Realm wasn’t difficult for him; he’d even mapped out the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth realms. A simple teleportation spell would suffice for those.

However, the First, Second, and Seventh Ghost Realms were different stories, separated by considerable distances and hindered by the Mist.

After receiving a warning from White Clothes, it became clear that he couldn’t enter the Mist Instance again. This meeting might be their last intersection.

If he couldn’t seize this opportunity to penetrate the First Ghost Realm, he’d have to resort to other methods later. How could he manipulate Untold into voluntarily inviting him?

In the room, everyone wore smiles that were brimming with warmth, but underneath, calculations and plans were rapidly unfolding.
