Chapter 288: Counter attack Mist World

Chapter 288: Counter attack Mist World

"Sister Kui, Alexander is mine. Stop teasing him!"

Before Emperor Kui could say anything further, the Blood Queen pouted, hooked her arm around Alexander’s, and spoke: "Don’t worry, Sister Kui wouldn’t dare to reject you. But not now—once all of this is over, we’ll make sure you experience this unique joy."

"Alright, we do indeed have important matters to attend to right now. But when we have some leisure time, we should certainly try," Emperor Kui shrugged her shoulders, implicitly agreeing with the Blood Queen’s statement.

Alexander turned his gaze toward Blizzard.

"I’ve said it before: until Alice returns, you are the Lord of Dark Hell City. The entire city obeys you, and I am no exception. Whatever you wish to do with me, I support it."

Blizzard’s eyes never strayed from Alexander, clearly indicating her stance.

Relieved by the affirmations from the three women, Alexander returned to Ares and Callum’s side and enthusiastically introduced them:

"Gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to Emperor Kui, who, despite being at an Imperial level, commands thirty million Devil Babies and could exhaust an Inheritance Ghost Emperor to death..."

As Alexander spoke, he stretched out his hand, pointed at Emperor Kui, and then at himself: "She is my sister!"

"A pleasure to meet someone so renowned!" Both men quickly bowed, recognizing Emperor Kui as they were once subjects of Dark Hell.

"And this is Blizzard, the Female Emperor who once single-handedly destroyed an entire city!"

Alexander then pointed at Blizzard and back at himself: "She is also my sister!"

"We’ve heard of her, an honor indeed!"

Both men hastily continued their respectful bows.

Blizzard’s reputation was not just limited to Dark Hell; she was known throughout the entire Ghost Realm and even the whole Horror World. For someone of her stature to disappear for many years and then resurface as Alexander’s sister—it was rather awe-inspiring!

Seeing as both women were declared as his sisters, the two men’s gazes simultaneously shifted to the Blood Queen, who had her arm around Alexander.

"You guessed correctly! This is the Guardian in Blood... and she’s also my sister!"

At this revelation, both men visibly shivered. Had they heard correctly? Did Alexander say the Guardian in Blood and not the Blood Queen?

While it was a poorly kept secret that the Blood Queen was indeed the Guardian of the Blood Clothes, no one had ever confirmed it. Those brazen enough to ask directly were either ignored or disappeared.

Now that Alexander had publicly identified her, and the Blood Queen hadn’t objected, the implications were drastically different.

"Guardian of the Blood Clothes, we are... honored," both men bowed, a fleeting trace of fear flickering in their eyes.

"Also, I have another sister you probably have heard of, now that you’ve become Inheritance Ghost Emperors," Alexander spoke casually.

"Who?" Both men widened their eyes in unison.

"Karin of the Purple Clothes!"

Upon hearing this name, a series of gasps filled the air.

While only a few had seen the Blood Guardian in action, Karin’s battle record was common knowledge; she was the very entity that had rampaged through an entire Ghost Realm!

"Doctor Charles—no, Lord Alexander, if you have something to say, just say it," Ares finally spoke up, his eyebrows knitted.

Callum also caught on; Alexander wasn’t casually introducing these powerful figures for no reason. He was laying bare the scope of his influence, clearly with an objective in mind.

"It’s simple. Dark Hell—or rather, I—am short on manpower. I wonder if you both would be interested in having your cities join Dark Hell?" Alexander finally revealed his objective.

For a moment, Ares and Callum felt as though they had been played. Alexander had flaunted his formidable connections. They could refuse to join, but would that mean they were disrespecting Emperor Kui and Blizzard?

Or worse, the Blood Queen and Karin? While the first two were daunting, the last two were absolutely terrifying—existences that could topple an entire Ghost Realm, let alone their two ghost cities.

After much hesitation, Ares was the first to speak: "What is your goal?"

"To counter-attack Mist World!"

At Alexander’s declaration, Ares, Callum, and their associates nearly lost their footing in shock.

This was Mist World they were talking about!

If anyone else had made such a claim, they would have dismissed it as sheer fantasy. But this was Alexander, and standing beside him was the Guardian of the Blood Clothes.

"How sure are you?" Ares finally asked after a protracted silence, his gaze inadvertently shifting toward the Blood Clothes.

"90%," the Blood Clothes answered before Alexander could speak.

That was almost too confident! Even Alexander was taken aback.

He himself didn’t even have a 50% certainty because nobody truly knew what lurked in the depths of Mist World.

Yet, when the Blood Clothes Guardian gave such an assurance, confidence surged not only within Ares and Callum but also within Alexander himself.

"Fine, we’re in!" Ares and Callum simultaneously declared after their initial shock.

To counter-attack Mist World had once been the dream of the entire Horror World, a dream so distant it had become unthinkable.

Blood Clothe’s 90% assurance was so compelling that even a 10% chance would have been enough to secure their allegiance.

As they nodded in agreement, a system notification emerged in Alexander’s mind.

"Congratulations, esteemed Lord Alexander, for completing the first phase of the main mission. Your rewards are as follows..."

The moment the system notification appeared, a torrent of Ghost Energy surged within Alexander’s body.

The Ghost Energy from the system reward was unlike any gained from consuming Ghost Crystals or Ghost Food; it provided instantaneous elevation without any negative side effects.

Even though Alexander’s current physical strength hadn’t yet reached a level where he could directly absorb tens of millions of Ghost Energy units, the system’s reward seemed to obey a different set of cosmic rules, breaking through the limitations of his physical capacity.

In an instant, the Ghost Energy within Alexander’s body skyrocketed tenfold. A bursting force surged through his body, yet he felt no sense of swelling or discomfort.

"Congratulations, esteemed Lord Alexander, for breaking through your level to reach the status of a Prince-level strength!"
