Chapter 76: Disguised Date
Chapter 76: Disguised Date
Axir found Kohana in a jiffy and picked her up like a princess before she even knew what happened.
"This..." Kohana was startled. She instinctively put her arm around Axir’s neck in fear of falling upon seeing herself in the air.
"Relax," Axir chuckled. "I can’t hang you by my hand with my current speed. Better to carry you like this so we can reach our destination fast."
"Yes, but..." Kohana wryly smiled, her cheeks slightly pink. "It feels a bit embarrassing."
"Haha. I feel different," Axir grinned. "It feels good to have a beautiful woman in my arms."
"Come on," Kohana rolled her eyes jokingly as she chuckled. "The game made me more beautiful, that’s all. I couldn’t help but get a bit greedy when I saw that."
"But it’s not like you completely changed yourself," Axir smiled. "I don’t remember you being that different."
"Well, I did remove some wrinkles and changed skin quality," Kohana smiled. "And made my hair better. What about you?"
"Nothing." Axir landed on a level 300 area, atop a mountain peak, as he overlooked the lava-filled area with exotic mountains, volcanic geysers, lava rivers, and a myriad of monsters.
Axir looked at Kohana with a cheeky smile. "I worked hard to make myself the way I want. I am young, after all. So I didn’t need to change anything."
"Right. I saw you at the school festival. You won all the games you participated in."
Kohana looked across the lava-filled land. "This place... level 300?!"
She was shocked.
"Yep. We’ll be starting here, and then move to a level 500 area once you reach level 100."
Axir wanted to check out a new level 500 area that wasn’t there in his last run as well.
"Here, take this card and use it on me." Axir gave her a 6-star buff-type card that gave a 10-meter radius range to all area damage and effects the user released for one minute.
"This will count as you assisting me, so when I kill monsters, you’ll share the experience."
"Oh, nice." Kohana accepted the card. "Thank you."
She activated the card on Axir right away.
"Now, just stay here and watch the show," Axir grinned.
Axir vanished.
Kohana turned toward the ground.
One second, everything was the same.
But in the next, loud explosions rang all over the area simultaneously, covering five kilometers ahead as shockwaves from all explosions chaotically spread.
Kohana was greatly startled at the sudden change and almost fell on her butt.
Her levels began rising crazily.
Five seconds later, Axir was back.
"How’s it looking?"
Kohana was startled again as she turned her head.
"Eh? It’s over?" She blinked, confused.
[You have reached level 118]
Kohana heard the notification and was dazed. "In just five seconds?"
Axir laughed. "Told you, it’s easy. Distribute your points and get strong while I move to the next area."
His figure blurred as he swooped in again and was in the sky before Kohana could register the scenery change.
"This is amazing..." Kohana muttered as she looked at her status and distributed the points.
"I’m transferring you a deck. Take a look at it. It’s a support-type deck that heals, removes debuffs, enhances stats, and transforms normal food into food that buffs. When you are outside and you want to do good deeds, this will help."
Kohana looked at the deck and was shocked. "T-This is an Epic deck... isn’t this too valuable?"
Provision Grace Weaver – Epic Deck.
"I have no use for it, and I have a lot of decks," Axir smiled. "I plan to give decks to loyal people of my Kingdom who wish to make the world a better place."
Axir had 37 decks with him from various chests and Mimics he opened yesterday while discovering dungeons.
He was going to give them to the people of his kingdom as he gathered them.
’I also have to share the locations of dungeons,’ Axir thought as he also began making a post in the chat.
But the chat was moving all the time, so Axir planned to set up a giant map with locations of all the dungeons he discovered in the plaza of all the kingdoms.
It was a matter of a minute for him with his current stats.
Meanwhile, Kohana was overwhelmed. "You are too generous, and... you knew I would like this type of deck, so you gave me this to help people..."
Axir laughed. "I’ll give you one more that’s focused on offense, so you can also destroy evildoers."
"Thank you so much. I don’t know how I can ever repay you for all this," Kohana sighed.
"Simple. Just help me build my Kingdom," Axir grinned. "No need to thank me because it’s a king’s duty to help his people."
Kohana chuckled. "Right, Your Majesty."
"Alright, we’ve arrived. Let’s start farming."
This level 500 area was filled with exotic water bodies, water bridges, ponds, and exotic aquatic plant life on the ground as well as inside the water.
The area was all blue, leafy, warm, breezy, and sunny.
"Wow! This is such a good place." Kohana’s eyes shone. "The water is so beautiful."
"Yep. It’s also my first time here," Axir looked around. "Guess we can relax a bit here after farming monsters."
"Indeed."
And so, Axir took Kohana around the area as they roamed around, killed monsters, solved puzzles, explored hidden passages, found treasure chests, and so on.
Axir made sure Kohana had a lot of fun.
Just like that, two hours passed by before he made Kohana reach level 400.
And then it was time to take a break.
The area with tiny ponds next to each other, with barely any space in between, was the most beautiful part of this area.
Moreover, the ponds were connected to each other via underwater passages.
"It will feel so good." Kohana grinned as she looked at the pond.
"I’m going ahead." Axir removed his clothes and jumped, diving into a pond a hundred meters away.
Kohana’s face turned slightly red as she caught sight of him. ’It’s so big...’
Shaking her head, she thought, ’Stop thinking about useless stuff.’
She removed her clothes but wrapped a white cloth around her body like a towel before jumping into the pond.
