Chapter 722: Bellhop Alexander Parker
Chapter 722: Bellhop Alexander Parker
Dinner was ultimately unpleasant due to Cora Ginger’s presence.Isabella Weaver hardly ate anything, she just couldn’t eat.
Harry Hunter didn’t force her, he settled the bill and took her out of the restaurant, driving towards the outskirts.
"Where are we going? Aren’t we going home?"
"I told you I wanted to take you somewhere, I originally planned to go earlier, but was delayed by Cora Ginger."
Harry Hunter raised his hand to check the time: "It’s alright, it’s not too late, luckily I had accounted for dinner time beforehand."
Isabella Weaver’s curiosity was piqued: "What are you up to?"
"It’s a secret."
Harry Hunter laughed softly, keeping her in suspense.
The less he revealed, the more curious Isabella Weaver became. When they reached the destination, she was stunned!
The castle towering nearby was surrounded by tall trees, a vast array of flowers and grasses, and butterflies still fluttering around even in the evening.
The outer walls of the castle emitted a glowing aura, lofty and majestic, like something out of a fairy tale.
They stopped the car outside the castle, a horse-drawn carriage was already waiting there.
Harry Hunter took Isabella Weaver’s hand with a smile, helping her onto the carriage, then said, "Miss Weaver, see you later."
Isabella Weaver was curious and intrigued: "Where are you going?"
Why did he suddenly call her Miss Weaver?
This was too strange.
The coachman started driving the carriage towards the castle, but Isabella Weaver still looked back at Harry Hunter until his figure was out of sight, then she turned back to admire the castle’s interior.
Fountains with unique designs, waterfalls pouring down, rose petals scattered everywhere, vibrant enchanting lights, respectful silent servants, lined up along the roadside bowing as she passed.
Why does it feel so unreal?
Isabella Weaver wondered.
She remembered there seemed to be similar scenes in Disney movies.
The moment the carriage reached the grand entrance hall, Isabella Weaver was even more surprised, for the person waiting there was Alexander Parker!
She instinctively exclaimed, "Cousin, what are you doing here?"
Tonight, Alexander Parker, unusually, wasn’t wearing green but was in a black suit, with a matching bow tie around the collar, standing there elegantly as a doorman.
Upon hearing Isabella Weaver call him "Cousin," his gloomy mood from the entire night finally improved a bit, he stepped forward and extended an arm to help Isabella Weaver out of the carriage.
"Cousin looks beautiful tonight."
He gently touched Isabella Weaver’s hair, tenderly beyond belief, restraining from hugging her, he merely extended his arm before her, signaling her to place her hand upon it.
Isabella Weaver, bewildered, placed her hand on his arm, and was led by him into the castle.
She knew she was not looking beautiful tonight, still wearing her professional attire from work, hair unkempt, face without makeup, resembling a forlorn Cinderella.
But Alexander Parker...
Tonight he appeared clear and handsome, the black suit adding a rare touch of maturity to him.
"How have you been lately, Cousin?"
"Good."
"Has the one named Harry bullied you?"
"No."
"As I suspected."
"Why are you here?"
"Harry Hunter invited me."
Just as Alexander Parker finished speaking, he led her through several doors, stepping into the hall.
The sound of graceful music filled the air, and Isabella Weaver instantly recognized it as the wedding march.
Moreover, it was performed live by a band.
"Cousin, I’ll take you to change clothes."
"I have to change clothes?"
"Harry said something about needing to have ceremony, so you have to change."
