Chapter 627: For You, I Can Learn

Qin Nanyu’s hand holding the key suddenly tightened.

A flicker of guilt flashed through his onyx eyes.

He had been so eager to leave earlier that he had totally forgotten about this and had taken out the key he had hidden right in front of her.

Now, he was caught red-handed.

Others might have no choice but to admit it stiffly, but Qin Nanyu handed the key to Ji Weitian with an innocent expression: "I didn’t know. When I was coming out, I saw a key on the table, so I tried it and to my surprise, it actually worked."

He realized that she was here to settle scores.

If time could be reversed and he knew one day he would place her on the very top of his heart, he would have been perfectly polite and charming from the first moment he saw her.

Qin Nanyu turned around, closing in slightly on her, and Ji Weitian backed away to avoid his touch, finding herself pressed against the elevator wall.

The two inside didn’t move.

They simply watched the elevator doors open, then close again.

Having started the conversation, Qin Nanyu didn’t plan on giving her a chance to avoid it.
