"Wait! I know this woman! She's my patient!" Veronica exclaimed as she recalled Helena Carlsen.
"She's Monica. Your sister. She underwent plastic surgery, altering her face. Helena and Monica exchanged their faces." Marco disclosed the truth to Veronica.
Veronica gasped, covering her mouth in shock.
'My sister underwent plastic surgery. Does it mean... the one who died on her behalf was this woman called Helena? And the patient in our medical facility is... Monica, my sister.'
"How could this happen? Does Nathan know about this?" Veronica was more concerned about Nathan. He was the one who brought her to the medical facility. Was he aware of her identity as Monica?
Marco nodded. "Yes. Nathan is aware that the real Monica is still alive. He is the reason why she became crazy."
Veronica's eyes widened in shock and her jaw dropped upon hearing that.
"What is the meaning of this? I thought he was in love with my sister. How could he do that to her?" Veronica still couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"You are wrong. Nathan is in love with someone else. It's Jane. She is the reason why Nathan hurt your sister. You should direct your anger toward them," Marco simply said.
This was his goal, stirring Veronica's emotions. He needed to make her hate Nathan and Jane with her jealousy. "Vincent wants you to decide whether to help your sister or not. The choice is yours. Monica's fate is in your hands now. He won't intervene." "Oh, one more thing... Do you know that Nathan and Jane went on a trip together with Ethan? It looks like he is going to propose to Jane already."

"Is everything set?" Nathan asked them expectantly.
Aiden nodded frantically. "Of course! The delivery will come in an hour. We bought everything you need. The ladies will keep Jane busy. She won't notice anything."

He could tell that Nathan was troubled by something. He even looked anxious.

Aiden just stopped laughing when he met Nathan's deathly glare.
"Alright. Tell us your concern." Stephen urged him. Nathan took a deep sigh. "I don't know. I can't explain it. But I feel like Jane is acting strangely. I'm just worried that she might reject my proposal."
Aiden and Stephen exchanged glances with one another. They weren't used to seeing Nathan worrying about this.
"C'mon, Nate. Jane is obviously in love with you. Why are you so worried? She might even be the one to propose to you first!" Aiden tried to cheer him up.
Stephen also nodded in agreement. "Yes. Jane talked to me about you. She told me how much she loved you. That's the moment she indirectly rejected me." Stephen smiled sheepishly, scratching his face. He even shared that moment just to make Nathan feel better.
"She didn't give me a chance to confess. She told me you were the only man in her heart."

Aiden's eyes lit up at the mention of Black Rose's name.
"Hmm. We need to thank those ladies! I'll talk to them on your behalf!" Aiden volunteered, just making an excuse to see Black Rose.
Stephen and Nathan looked at each other, shaking their heads in unison.
"Someone is in love here as well," Stephen said, teasing Aiden.
But Aiden just cocked his eyebrow. "Hey, Bro! Why don't you mind your own love life?! Go and get a girl!"
