Nathan sponsored the trip for everyone. He paid everything for this outing, including the accommodation and travel expenses. But on one condition, they would help him prepare for his proposal to Jane. Ethan was also aware of his father's plan.

Stephen and Aiden were the ones overseeing the overall preparations. Nathan gave them those special tasks as he wanted to spend time with Jane during the trip. He booked an entire resort exclusive only for them. The resort won't be accepting other guests.

Surprisingly, Mr. Hiroshi and Kazuki also joined them. Mr. Hiroshi volunteered to take care of Ethan so that Jane could focus on spending time with her comrades and her boyfriend, Nathan.

The other ladies were busy unpacking their luggage while Nathan and Jane went to the beach. They sat down under the coconut tree. They traveled to a tropical country to enjoy the beach.

"Nate, thank you for making this trip possible," Jane mumbled as she rested her head on his shoulders. "No need to thank me. It's my reward for everyone who helped you. You got the revenge you wanted." Nathan tucked the loose strand of her hair behind her ear.

Jane nodded. "I'm also grateful to you, Nate."

Nathan looked down at her. "Hmm. So will I get my reward from you as well?" His lips curled up into a playful smile.

Jane let out a soft giggle, pinching his waist. She leaned in and whispered, "You can have me during bedtime. So let me spend the rest of my time with my friends."

"Hmm. I don't mind that." Nathan swiftly scooped her, making her sit on his lap as he hugged her from behind. He placed his chin over her shoulder as they both watched the sea and the horizon.

"I want this scenery... so calm and peaceful," Jane mumbled. She didn't know what tomorrow might bring but Jane decided to stay positive.

Even if she had to say goodbye to her friends and comrades, she was still glad to be with them for one last time.

"Nate, do you believe in miracles? And second chances?" Jane suddenly asked him out of the blue.

Nathan fell silent, thinking about her question. "Miracles? Second Chances? Hmm."

He paused for a moment, then glanced at her face. "I think you are my miracle... and I got my second chance to be with you."

Jane's heart skipped a beat upon hearing that. "You really know how to make my heart flutter, Nate." She smiled broadly.

On the other hand, Jane's words were caught in her throat. She didn't think they could attend her wedding. Because once Nathan confessed to her, she would go back to the present time. And in that timeline, her comrades were already gone.

Her heart constricted at those thoughts. She looked at them one by one as she nodded, but the tears already welled up in her eyes. She was getting so emotional, making everyone speechless.

"Hey, Sis. Are you sad? Why are you crying?" Mystique approached her, caressing her cheeks.

Unable to contain the emotions weighing on her heart, Jane grabbed Mystique and hugged her tightly, then began to sob. Everyone was surprised to see Phantomflake cry in front of them.

Nothing was said– she simply poured out her heart through her tears.

For some unknown reason, those strong-willed ladies got swayed by her emotional state. They also began to tear up, crying along with her.

"Sis, why are you crying? Don't cry."

"We are not used to seeing you cry."

"Did we say something to upset you?"

"Tell us. Did Nathan make you sad?"

Everyone tried to comfort Jane.

In between her sobs, Jane managed to utter some words. "I'm just so happy to be with all of you, girls. I love you so much. And I will never forget you."

Mrs. Frost gently rubbed her back. "Of course, we are your family. We are always here for you and want to see you happy. Even though you've retired and left our guild, you will always be a part of this family."

"That's true. Whenever you need us, you can always call us," Mystique added.

"You can always visit us any time. You are welcome to our hideouts!" Iron Lady chimed in.

Jane could only nod even though she already knew that those things would be impossible in the future.

"Sigh! Sis, You made us all cry. Let's stop this! We are here to enjoy!" Black Rose also spoke up. "Time to go for a swim!"

"Alright! Let's do that!" Jane said with a smile.
