Chapter 1385 - 1382: Blood Clan King
Chapter 1385 - 1382: Blood Clan King
Zhang Lingyu was drawing a talisman in Lin Tian’s hand. It wasn’t the first time, so Lin Tian had some impression of it. Zhang Lingyu seemed to notice his confusion and explained, "The talisman I gave you last time to conceal your aura is about to expire. I need to redraw it for you. I got inspiration from Houqing’s barrier and improved the talisman."
"What’s the advantage of the new talisman?" Lin Tian asked curiously.
"The new talisman hides the zombie aura better, but I must advise you to be careful when dealing with the Demon Exorcists in the future. Otherwise, your identity might get exposed and spread by them, and you know what the consequences would be." Zhang Lingyu warned again.
This time, Lin Tian didn’t argue but said seriously, "Thank you."
"No need to thank me." Zhang Lingyu said softly.
She looked deeply at Lin Tian, then said, "I should be going, see you later."
"Is Charlotte sending someone to take you back?" Lin Tian asked with some concern. Perhaps last time frightened him, because the sudden parting resulted in the female Heavenly Master being taken by Charlotte to England.
"She’s sending a helicopter to take me to the airport. There’s a flight back home tonight. Haha, she probably wants me to leave quickly so no one would disturb her when she tries to seduce you." Zhang Lingyu’s eyes twinkled as if she was speaking intentionally.
Of course, Lin Tian understood her little thoughts, and he found it somewhat amusing but explained nothing. He just stepped forward, hugged Zhang Lingyu tightly, and whispered in her ear, "Safe travels, I will miss you."
Zhang Lingyu glanced at Lin Tian’s lower body, her face turned red. Lin Tian paused, realizing that after being teased by Charlotte, he was still aroused, and she probably felt it during the hug.
Even with Lin Tian’s thick skin, he blushed. Zhang Lingyu took a slight breath, glanced at him again, then turned and jumped out of the window, swiftly disappearing into the night.
Soon after, the distant sound of a helicopter taking off could be faintly heard. Through the night sky, Lin Tian could see the signal light representing the helicopter drifting further away until it finally disappeared into the night.
"We will meet again, Lingyu." Lin Tian murmured to the night sky.
After spending so much time with Zhang Lingyu, this was truly a farewell. Once she returned to her family, it might be a long time before they met again.
The sea always seemed to greet dawn particularly early. The next morning, Lin Tian woke up an hour early to practice.
By the time he was finished, Ai Wei appeared downstairs punctually, indicating it was time to leave.
After changing clothes and heading to the hall, Charlotte and Ai Wei were already waiting by the dining table, standing and waiting, fully embodying the manners of maids. Lin Tian always considered the master-servant relationship a joke, but seeing Charlotte like this, he could only shake his head helplessly. It seemed that the Lady Lord was determined to immerse herself completely into the "maid" role.
"Master Lin Tian, after breakfast, you may board the plane." Ai Wei said respectfully.
Lin Tian nodded, looked around, and asked, "Where’s Rossi?"
"He’s packing up and will meet us at the airport." Charlotte replied.
"Let Rossi stay with you. The Blood Clan is his home. Following me in Huaxia, he’s bound to feel lonely." Lin Tian expressed the plan he had long decided on in his heart.
He never intended to keep Rossi under his control permanently. Now that Rossi had found his sister, it was like closing a Chapter.
"Brother Tian, I’m willing to stay with you." Rossi’s voice came from outside the hall, and then he walked inside, looking at Lin Tian with determination.
Lin Tian patted his shoulder, letting him sit at the dining table, and said earnestly, "Rossi, you are a man, and you should have a career. You must become stronger, with the ability to protect your sister. Additionally, staying to help your sister is also about avenging your family, unless you are afraid of danger or those high-ranking Blood Clan members and thus don’t dare to stay and face them."
"I’m not afraid." Rossi quickly denied, then fell silent, seemingly understanding Lin Tian’s intentions. He nodded, "Brother Tian, I understand. I will stay, not only to avenge with my sister but also to carve out a territory for you. By then, the entire Blood Clan Alliance will be yours."
Lin Tian smiled and shook his head, saying, "I’m used to being lazy, why would I want the Blood Clan Alliance? Remember your bloodline comes from Ancestor Cain. Don’t disgrace your ancestors; even if you become part of the Blood Clan, you must become a king among them!"
Rossi nodded vigorously. Charlotte glanced up at Lin Tian, although she said nothing, her eyes sparkled with fervor, silently chanting the words, "King of the Blood Clan."
"Alright, let’s have breakfast." Lin Tian announced, and together with Charlotte, her brother, and Ai Wei, they enjoyed breakfast.
After the meal, a vehicle was already waiting outside the door, ready to take the group to the airport. The airport was on the island, with a long runway that, according to Ai Wei, was capable of handling military heavy transport aircraft landings.
A silver private jet was parked on the runway, its fuselage painted with a red emblem, which Lin Tian recognized as the symbol of Bale Bank.
"Rossi, Charlotte, Ai Wei, I’m heading back, see you if fate allows." Lin Tian waved his hand, turned elegantly, and ascended the stairs of the plane, where another female Blood Clan member had already loaded Lin Tian’s packed luggage onto the aircraft.
The plane began to taxi, then took off, leaving the island behind, rendering Rossi and the others standing at the airport into tiny dots on the ground.
"England, goodbye." Lin Tian said softly, looking at the vast sea outside the porthole.
An air stewardess, seemingly having heard Lin Tian speak, approached and smiled, "Master Lin Tian, do you have any orders?"
Lin Tian looked up at the stewardess, her red dress, black stockings, and colorful scarf, realizing she too was part of the Blood Clan. He unbuckled his seatbelt and said, "Where is my luggage placed? Show me, please."
"Certainly, Master Lin Tian." Responded the Blood Clan stewardess, leading Lin Tian to the luggage compartment.
In fact, the so-called luggage was just a large hand-carry safe. Lin Tian waved the stewardess away before he opened the safe himself. Inside lay only two items, a small medicine cauldron and a stone.
Although there were only two things, Lin Tian considered them more valuable than the entire plane underneath him. The cauldron belonged to Langde, extremely ancient, with inscriptions even Lin Tian couldn’t recognize.
The stone was even more extraordinary; it was a shape-shifting stone, able to morph when energy was infused. Moreover, Lin Tian made a delightful discovery; this stone could actually withstand his power of fire.
So far, there weren’t many things able to endure his fire power. Lin Tian was already considering whether it could be used to forge a weapon—a weapon that could transform, which was why Lin Tian valued it so greatly.
