Gu Shaocheng lightly lifted her chin, teasing her with a playful smirk. "I’m still waiting, you know."

"Give me some time to think." She really couldn’t come up with an idea on the spot.

Chenxing naturally had no objections to his arrangement.

After checking out the entirety of the villa, she hugged Gu Shaocheng’s waist, tiptoed, and kissed him. "Shaocheng, thank you!"

He played with her hair, messing it up a little. "You’ve thanked me a lot, and I expect to be repaid, understand?"

Her bright eyes blinked twice, "Sure, I understand."

But she wanted to say thank you again. "Tonight, I’ll cook dinner myself. I want to cook for my mom. But I don’t know what she likes. I realized I don’t know anything about my mother."

"That’s okay, the nurse who used to take care of your mother has been brought from City T. She’s been taking care of your mother for many years, so she should know her better than you do. When she arrives, you can ask her about your mother."
