"Chenxing didn’t sleep at all. Knowing there was trouble with Hua Hua, but not daring to call you, he sent me several text messages asking if Hua Hua had been found," Nan Baihao said as he dialed a number.

Hearing this, Gu Shaocheng frowned and took Nan Baihao’s phone. The call was quickly answered, and Chenxing’s worried voice came from the other end: "Brother Baihao, has Hua Hua been found yet?"

"Why aren’t you asleep yet? What time is it?"

Chenxing obviously sighed in relief.

"Goodnight."

Just as he was about to end the call, he heard another voice from the other end. Chenxing, struggling to keep his eyes open, mustered up the courage, blew a kiss into the phone, and quickly hung up. His cheeks instantly heated up. He grabbed the blanket, buried his head, and his heart pounded like a drum, overwhelmed with nervousness.

Then he felt he was too anxious. He freed his head from the blanket, picked up another pillow, and excitedly rolled around in bed.

This was the first time he gave a kiss over the phone. The excitement and nervousness were indescribable, yet it was an even stronger emotion...like being in young love.

Gu Shaocheng chuckled, handed the phone back to Nan Baihao.

His pulse shot up immediately. That sound, could it be a kiss? A picture of Chenxing immediately appeared in his mind, Chenxing’s lips, Chenxing’s taste, Chenxing lying on his bed dreaming about him.

"What did Chenxing say to you that has you smiling so broadly?" Nan Baihao sniffed at the love in the air.

"He sent me a kiss." Gu Shaocheng spread his smiling lips wider, took out a tissue to wipe his hand, and added, totally ignoring his brother’s teasing and contemptuous look, "I think I quite appreciated it."

Nan Baihao was unimpressed, "It was just a kiss, what’s the big deal?"

Gu Shaocheng stood up, disregarded the indifference, and perceived it as jealousy. Then, he happily walked back to the kitchen to check on the porridge.

That night, Hua Hua couldn’t sleep, several others stayed up all night with him.

No one noticed that when the bedroom door was closed, Hua Hua, who supposedly was asleep, opened his eyes briefly, then shut them. A single tear ran down his cheek, silently soaking into his pillow, leaving no trace.
