Chapter 401 - 403 - Hua Hua’s Shy Secret 4_1
That Great Lai, he will definitely not let him off so easily.
"Brother, don’t lie to me. I have undoubtedly lost all my face." He leaned against the car seat, not wanting to be seen in this state. "Brother, you drive. I don’t want to see other people in the car."
But Gu Shaocheng was more eager to treat his whip marks.
Hua Hua pleaded in a sorrowful voice, "Brother, please spare me my dignity."
"Alright!"
Dismissing his subordinates, he drove the car himself. Only him and Hua Hua were inside. Hua Hua lay in the back seat, burying his head deep into the blanket. No one could see his expression, not even Gu Shaocheng.
Nan Baihao, holding Yan Fengchi’s arm, pinned him against the wall, irritably said, "Yan Fengchi, you better tell me clearly, what’s your relationship with this guy?"
He even helped this man who bullied Little Five.
Yan Fengchi glanced at the Great Lai on the ground, who was unconscious from pain, annoyed: "This man has a complicated background, and I have no connection with him."
"I don’t care about his fucking background. He bullied my brother, and no matter his background, he’s dead to me."
"Calm down, I want to castrate him more than the boss does. But he is protected by the military, and is currently staying in City E to have some fun. His background is more profound than you think. I also don’t know what exactly it is."
"Not knowing, then why are you telling me it’s profound? The people protected by the military are not the people I need to protect. I would kick him to death, you can take revenge on me whenever you want, I will be waiting."
Nan Baihao doesn’t care who the man exactly is. No one can bully his brother, even if he himself has also bullied Hua Hua many times, no one else is allowed to do so!
Yan Fengchi blocked him. Nan Baihao then angrily kicked Yan Fengchi, pointed his little finger at him and stormed off.
"Retreat!"
As he left the basement underneath the unassuming little flat that looked like a ruin, he ignored the bodyguards scattered on the ground and hopped into his car. By this time, Gu Shaocheng’s car had already taken off, disappearing into the night.
Back at Hua Hua’s house, Gu Shaocheng called for a sedative to give him a shot.
Hua Hua’s mood had settled down quite a bit. He shook his head to refuse. Gu Shaocheng slowed his voice down: "Take a shot, take a nap, and forget everything that happened tonight."
Hua Hua’s refusal was quite explicit. "Brother, I’m hungry."
"What do you want to eat? I’ll have it delivered."
"I want the porridge you cooked. Do you remember that time? It was the first time you cooked porridge for me. It was all burned, a whole big pot, but we finished it all." Hua Hua, wrapped in a blanket and sitting on the sofa, said, "Though after finishing it, I didn’t even know what the porridge tasted like, but it was definitely the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. I want to eat it now."
A sharp pain pierced through Gu Shaocheng’s heart.
Men don’t have much consoling words to offer. He nodded and without another word, he headed to the kitchen. It’d been a while since he’d cooked but he rolled up his sleeves and got to work. He washed rice, cooked porridge, and handled the rice cooker.
He opened the fridge and found some fruit. He cleaned them and made a fruit salad.
When he got back to the living room, Hua Hua had exchanged the blanket for a snow-white fox fur blanket. He was all covered in the thick fur from the shoulders down, with only the area above his collarbones exposed. His back propped against some high pillows, he held a remote in his hand, watching a thrilling soccer game on TV.
