Chenxing’s words made Gu Shaocheng laugh softly. Amidst the chaos, he remained calm and unruffled, whispering in her ear, "If you don’t sing, then do something else. I’ll find a way to amuse myself. You choose, Chenxing."
Although his words were lewd, they were full of arrogance as if he didn’t care about the outside world at all.
She bit her lip, her brow furrowed in his arms.
She didn’t even have the right to choose.
She had no choice but to take a deep breath and sing ’Warmth’ to him amidst the gunfire, her palms sweating.

He opened the car door: "Bro, I’ll go check it out."

The bodyguard, upon hearing Gu Shaocheng’s command, nodded and got out of the car with a small gap in the door, holding his gun. Gu Shaocheng turned Chenxing’s anxious head towards him, teasingly chiding her, "You should focus on singing. Even if you are off-key, don’t lose focus."
With his arm around her, he looked down at her. He was still wearing the same shirt from earlier, his tie undone. Chenxing saw how comfortable he seemed and bit her lip, apologizing, "I’m just worried."
"Worried about what?"
What was she worried about? Chenxing thought sarcastically, her ability to handle things mentally wasn’t as strong as his.
"I’m just worried."

"I can even hand you the microphone." To her surprise, the driver actually tossed her the car microphone.
Chenxing felt like crying but held back, not only was Gu Shaocheng arrogant, but even his driver was so brazen. As the only woman by his side, she was surely being looked down upon. She decided to show her courage, "Humph, I’m not scared!"
As soon as her words fell, her high-pitched voice echoed inside the quiet car.
"Ah oh...ah oh eh...ah si deh ah si deh...ah si deh lo deh lo deh...ah si deh ah si deh lo dour..."
With a ’boom’, a grenade flew towards two maintenance team vehicles about a few hundred meters away, instantly engulfing them in flames.
The flames were so high, they looked like mushrooms. Even from this far away, Chenxing could see it all too clearly.
It was like a scene from a movie.
