Chapter 1412 - 1415: Emotions Are the Hardest to Control 4
"Don’t think that just because you saved me, you can pry into my secrets. If even a bit of it leaks out, I will kill you myself! I’ll use all the survival skills I learned at the training camp on you. Anyway, the instructors there also said that because of you, I didn’t take the final test. At that time, I’ll make you my examiner!"
His words were icy cold, extremely domineering.
His face was solemn, without a hint of a smile.
Saying this, he opened another can of beer, drinking it all in one go, showing an all-or-nothing attitude to play with his life.
He loved playing games, but at this moment he wasn’t in the mood, listlessly lost two levels. Ling Yin noticed this and didn’t insist: "Watch a movie?"
Hua Hua himself couldn’t sleep, and with nothing to pass the time, wasn’t in the mood to play games. Hearing the suggestion to watch a movie, he didn’t object and followed him to the next room. The room’s decor was extremely tasteful. Hua Hua whistled: "Didn’t expect your taste in life to be quite high!"
The room had a row of long sofas, facing them was an ultra-thin, large screen. The screen was truly huge, almost taking up the entire wall, with a bit of a cinema atmosphere, like a mini-theater.
"Go grab some food from the fridge." Ling Yin ordered casually as he held a disc, searching for a movie to watch.
Hua Hua shrugged, brought a pile of food, placed it on the low table in front of the sofa, and guzzled a drink himself. The drink’s brand was unfamiliar, likely a local Barcelona brand, but it suited his taste very much.
"Captain America, is it okay?" Ling Yin asked after searching for a while.
Hua Hua didn’t care, just replied perfunctorily, "Whatever."
He wasn’t there to watch the movie; he drank all the drinks he brought and piled up a heap of empty bottles, curled up on the sofa, and fell asleep halfway through the movie.
The sleep was particularly restless, filled with nightmares. When he woke up, he heard the movie still playing. His head, at some unknown time, had rested on Ling Yin’s leg. He blinked his eyes, unable to react to where he was for quite a while.
Ling Yin’s faint masculine scent was pleasant, except his elbow occasionally bumped into his face.
Ling Yin wasn’t watching the movie either, there was a laptop on the low table. He leaned forward, working on something with the computer, very focused.
Hua Hua gently nudged his elbow, trying to sit up from his leg.
Only then was Ling Yin’s train of thought interrupted. He looked down to see him awake and asked, "Had a nightmare?"
His head was covered in sweat.
Ling Yin pulled a tissue to wipe him, his attitude naturally unpretentious. Hua Hua pushed him away, sat up, and snatched the tissue from his hand to wipe his forehead. His neck hurt a bit from sleeping, and after wiping off the sweat, he began to rub his neck, "How did I end up sleeping on your leg?"
Ling Yin smiled, without answering.
He closed the laptop, asked him, "Want me to give you a sedative? Restless sleep, after all, is inevitable!"
Ling Yin thought, even for himself, having just escaped death, he might also sleep uneasily.
"No need, I hate that stuff!"
Ling Yin didn’t insist either, suddenly grabbed his wrist, and said, "Come over?"
"For what?" Hua Hua lazily asked.
Ling Yin suddenly pulled him over, lowered his head, leaned forward, "Perhaps doing something else might help you sleep better."
Hua Hua heard his words, looked at him with profound meaning.
Ling Yin lowered his head, sealing his lips with his own.
