Chapter 1326 - 1329: The Warmth Once Missed 6
Ling Yin silently gave a thumbs up to the chef from the boss’s house; this skill was learned entirely from the master chef. "If you like it, eat more."
"Okay." With a sweep, he finished the steak on his plate: "Brother Ling, once you finish eating, I’ll measure you. I’ve brought a few new clothes I designed myself, take a look and see if you like any."
Hua Hua took out a not-so-thick brochure from his briefcase, which contained several suits he recently designed, and handed it over.
Ling Yin wiped his mouth with a napkin and began flipping through the brochure.
Hua Hua scooted his chair over and started explaining.
The air was thick with the scent of his cologne.
Ling Yin steadied his mind, not being swayed by the fragrance; whenever Hua Hua talked about his expertise, he always became exceptionally lively, unconsciously raising his orchid pinky, pointing at one design: "Brother Ling, I think this suit matches your style well."
He slightly tilted his head, his breath hitting Hua Hua’s neck, as Hua Hua was too close. He steadied himself again, silently sighing.
"Stable and restrained, yet outstanding, though you usually come off too cold, this attire can slightly neutralize that harshness, I think it’ll suit you well."
No matter for whom he was designing clothes, Hua Hua would thoroughly study that person beforehand; matching the right attire with the right person was how Hua Hua quickly established himself in the fashion world.
"Then this one it is, I trust your eye."
Hua Hua beamed, flipping a few more pages: "And this one too."
"Alright."
"You’re not even looking carefully, huh? Be careful not to miss the aura you want to convey," Hua Hua teased with a laugh.
Ling Yin patted his shoulder: "I’m not very knowledgeable about fashion, since I’ve hired you, I can consult your opinion, and I trust you won’t spoil your own reputation."
This kind of employer is really easy to get along with.
"Then let me measure your proportions again." Hua Hua opened his briefcase, took out a tape measure and notebook, and Ling Yin nodded. Hua Hua laughed aloud: "Brother Ling, your physique hasn’t changed a bit; the measurements from the last three times are nearly identical. I reckon I won’t need to come next quarter to measure, just tailor the clothes according to your current shape, saving on travel expenses."
Ling Yin: ...
After thinking for a second: "You still have to come; my colleagues’ physiques fluctuate greatly."
"You mean that woman named Bing Yu?"
"Yes. She can’t control her eating, always talking about dieting, yet constantly seen hiding snacks in the office."
"True." Hua Hua nodded with a grin: "And there are six other people; looks like I can’t be lazy."
Hua Hua recorded the data, packed up his suitcase, and noticed the rain outside had lightened: "Brother Ling, let’s go to your company. I see it’s still early, maybe if we finish work soon, I can catch today’s flight back to Canada."
"In such a hurry? I was actually planning to invite you to watch the league, got the tickets ready." Ling Yin fished out two tickets from his pocket, casually about to toss them in the trash can.
Hua Hua scrambled to rescue the tickets about to fall into the trash, almost screaming with excitement: "This match? I love watching it; I previously asked others to buy tickets for me, but unfortunately, they said they were sold out. Brother Ling, it’d be such a waste to throw them away."
Any hurry to go home instantly vanished like clouds.
