Everyone followed the Sword Sovereign out of the cabin and saw that the cruise ship's deck was already teeming with personnel in hazmat suits in the process of moving the fish-monster corpses.

Among them were what looked like a couple of researchers, gesturing wildly and shouting at the crew to be more careful and not to damage these important biological specimens.

Others were busy collecting the fish monsters' weapons. Even the crappy bronze scraps and bone spears got carefully packed away in boxes.

Personnel in protective gear were delicately placing those coral staffs embedded with colorful pearls into sample containers marked with radiation warning symbols.

Some guys with huge tanks of disinfectant stood by on standby. Every time they finished clearing bodies from a section of deck, these guys would rush over and spray everything...

The whole ship was buzzing with activity. Nobody paid any attention to Chu Tianxing and his group.

Chu Tianxing and the others didn't ask questions either. Under Sword Sovereign Xingyun's lead, they took a small boat away from the cruise ship to a nearby medical vessel.

What followed was the usual drill. Men and women are separated, stripped down for disinfection, blood draws, lab tests, and signing confidentiality agreements.

After the person left and closed the door, he quickly changed into his own clothes and left the isolation room to follow them to meet Sword Sovereign Xingyun.

Chu Tianxing nodded. "I am."

Sword Sovereign Xingyun continued, "I heard from the captain and head of security that you performed exceptionally well this time. Before DJ Tathagata arrived, it was your repeated interventions against powerful enemies that kept morale up, which is why everyone on the ship survived without a single death.

"Especially after the security captain was seriously injured. Had you not single-handedly turned the tide by slaying that three-meter-tall giant fish-man, your classmates probably wouldn't have lasted until DJ Tathagata showed up. You could say that you deserve at least half the credit for everyone's survival."

Chu Tianxing replied modestly. "You're giving me too much credit. If DJ Tathagata hadn't arrived in time, everything I did would have been for naught after the incarnation of that monster god descended."
