Rescue Mission Part 1

Meanwhile, Jason had also arrived at the gate of Mr Taga's house.

"Your father is inside," Dr Andesh informed him.

"Thanks for letting me know," Jason replied looking at the huge gate in front of him with both hands on his waist.

Dr Andesh studied him for a while and parted her lips to ask what was on his mind. "Are you thinking of breaking into the house?" she asked.

Before Jason could respond to her question, his phone rang. He quickly checked the called ID and gestured with his hand for Dr Andesh to give him a few minutes.

"Hello," said Jason.

"Hello, Sir. We can track Ms Harrison. She is wearing her ring. Mirenda confirmed that to me," reported Peter.

"Thanks, Peter. Please call the General at the police headquarters and let him know what has happened," instructed Jason and the call came to an end.

Jason turned and looked at Dr Andesh briefly before his gaze shifted to the car. He stood there for a while alternating his gaze between the car and the huge gate until he remembered something. He took long strides towards the side of the building. Dr Andesh stood there watching him wondering where he was going and what he was going to do.

"When the police arrive, just page me and tell them to pass here," Jason said pointing to the direction he was going through and Dr Andesh just nodded.

Meanwhile, inside Mr Taga's apartment, Mr Wellington was trying to understand how his wife was still alive.

"Still shocked?" Mr Taga laughed. "Let me tell you a story," he began and Mr Wellington watched in complete silence. He needed answers to this twist.

"You remember the day, your wife was rushed to the hospital?" Mr Taga began.

*************Flash Back***********

Mrs Wellington was lying in bed looking very pale. The nurse came in and checked up on her and called Dr Andesh to give her an update on her health.

In the study, Mr Taga, Benjamin's father was having a conversation with Mr Wellington, while Benjamin, now Mr Taga was sitting in the living room with the nanny.

"Sir, something happened to Mrs Wellington, she just passed out," screamed the nurse after badging into the office.

Little Benjamin was just watching the whole scene, paying attention to all that was happening and feeling sorry for Mrs Wellington because she was going through pain. In a few minutes, the ambulance arrived and Benjamin's father came to get him while Mrs Wellington was put in the ambulance. Mr Wellington and the nurse sat in the car and followed the ambulance to the hospital.

In the car of Mr Taga and little Benjamin, while they were going home, Mr Taga said to little Benjamin.

"I am making a way for you to share in the riches of Mr Wellington. You are part of the family because his wife is your great aunty but I don't understand why they don't want us to be part of their business network. When you are old enough, I want you to stop at nothing to get what is rightfully yours. I will set the pace for you," Mr Taga said but Benjamin was too young to understand.

He went home with his father and in half an hour, the news channels started announcing the passing of Mrs Wellington. Benjamin was very sad hearing the news on TV but realized his father was not the least sad.

"When you are older you will understand," Mr Taga said.

********End of Flashback ******

"I remember that day, one of my worst but it doesn't explain how my wife is still alive when I thought she was gone?" Mr Wellington said.

"Yes, it doesn't but Jason getting missing that day was no accident. It was planned. Your wife faked her death," Mr Taga said.

"What?" Exclaimed Mr Wellington.

Even Mrs Haward was surprised.

"When you see her she will tell you. My dad promised to keep her secret if she arranged for Jason to go missing and later we can come up with a story about a substitute child where I become your true child," Mr Taga said.

"And Jason a false child," Mr Wellington completed the statement.

"Bingo," replied Mr Taga.

"So my wife did something bad, what makes you think I was going to listen to you and present you to the world as my son?" asked Mr Wellington.

"Because what your wife did was for you. So now, is either you sign half of your property to me or I send your wife up to heaven for real," Mr Taga said and put a phone on the table with a live stream.

In the video, he saw his wife sitting on the floor looking all dirty surrounded by men with guns. Mr Wellington's eyes widened and his heart began to race.
