Plan in Motion

Meanwhile, back in Haward's apartment, Fiona was in the bathroom using another phone to text Vera.

Vera, they know. Please lay low for now

Fiona clicked send and read on the phone screen 'sent'. She took out the sim from the phone and dropped it into the toilet bowl. She dismantled the phone and started breaking the parts into pieces, dropping them into the toilet bowl. When she could not break the phone any further, she used the toilet plunger to push the bigger parts of the phone pieces away and flashed the toilet ensuring it was clean.

"Sweetheart," came James's voice from behind the door.

"Yes," Fiona responded walking towards the door but James entered with a smile plastered on his face.

"Are you alright?" James asked his eyes scanning the bathroom which appeared to be clean.

Nothing is out of place. Fiona walked towards James and hugged him resting her head on his chest.

"What is happening to me? Who am I?" Fiona asked her voice very soft and low.

"Nothing. You just bumped your head a little. Just don't think about it you will be fine," James said wrapping his arms around her and leading her out of the bathroom.

They entered the bedroom and their attention was drawn to the door as a knock was heard.

"Come in," James answered and Mori entered holding a tray of food.

Fiona stared at her and moved her gaze to the food on the tray knowing exactly what was inside it. She curled herself up into James's arms acting like she was scared of Mori. James felt good inside seeing Fiona clinging to him for safety. He wrapped his arms around her.

"Hey, I am here, don't be scared. She is a nurse here to take care of you," James explained and Fiona shook her head violently in his arms not ready to look at Mori.

"She scares me, please let her go," Fiona whines, making Mori frown and roll her eyes annoyed by the scene before her.

"Please leave the food on the table. I will take care of her," James said and Mori left the food on the table exiting the room.

Fiona let go of James and walked towards the bed, climbing onto it as soon as Mori left the room. She saw James walking towards the table to pick up the tray of food and she knew she needed to come up with something not to eat the food.

A day before, when Fiona fought with James and he laid his hands on her wounding her in the process, she overheard Mori and James's conversation when they thought she had passed out and got to know they were going to give her a medication that will make her forget everything. She went to the bathroom and vomited the pill out after Mori had administered it thinking she was still out. She just woke up and started acting like she couldn't remember anything.

"I will eat it myself. Why don't you go take a shower, I don't want to be alone when that woman comes back," Fiona requested making a puppy face.

"Sure, I will be back," James replied enjoying every bit of what was happening.

Fiona is now his to do with her as he deems fit. He had always wanted to have her and now the opportunity has presented itself. He happily entered the bathroom to take a shower and imagine the things he wanted to do with her once out of the shower.

Fiona heard the tap running and quickly got down from the bed and ensured the door to the bedroom was locked. She opened the window, threw the tea out and left the toasted bread and scabbled egg. She climbed back into bed and placed the teacup on the bedside table after briefly holding the ring of the cup with her lips to make it look like she drank the tea. James entered the bedroom a few minutes after with a towel drying his hair.

"You don't like the toasted bread and egg?" James asked seeing bread and egg sitting on the table untouched and the cup of tea sitting on the night table close to the bed empty.

"I don't feel like eating. So I just took the tea," Fiona replied sitting on the bed with her back resting on the bed headboard.

"I'll let them prepare soup for you," James said not bothered about the fact that she didn't eat the toasted bread and egg.

The medication was in the tea so if she had drunk the tea, that is fine. He hung the towel he was using to dry his hair behind the chair placed behind the table and took off the towel around his waist. Fiona frowned seeing him standing in front of her with nothing on.

"What is wrong with this man? How can he think like this in a situation?" Fiona thought looking at him with a frown.

"Relax, I am just trying to help you remember something. You always love it when I do this. Do you not remember?" James said opening his arms and Fiona disgusted by what he was doing shook her head in a 'no'.

"Gosh, this guy can lie," Fiona thought and frowned deeply as James walked towards the bed.

"Okay, let's try something," James said and sat on the bed leaned in and kissed her.

"How about now, remember anything?" James asked and Fiona realised where this was going.

He was just doing that to sleep with her. She was now not sure what answer to give as she already know he will do something else in the name of helping her remember something they use to do.

"I don't know but I want to sleep," Fiona said.

"Come on, I miss you," James said pleading with her with his eyes to let him.

"I...I...." Fiona began but was not sure what to say that would get him to stop what he was trying to do.

At the study, Mrs Haward was putting all the information she received from her investigator together to come up with a project idea similar to what the Wellington's have in their system but she has little to no knowledge in business and how to put such things together. She called Mori and after asking about Fiona decided to ask her help to draft something for her meeting the next day.

Mori sat down and did as Mrs Haward had requested and walked her through how to present it. Mrs Haward spent the next couple of minutes going through the whole presentation over and over again, just like Mori had thought her. She went to bed once she was sure she was conversant with the whole presentation.

The next day, Mrs Haward called Mori and asked her to go through it one more time. The guard came up to the study to inform her it was time.

"Wish me luck," Mrs Haward said as she stepped out of the study with Mori following her out.

Mrs Haward saw James and Fiona standing on the balcony on her way out.

"They just need to get the video and Fiona with her lost memory will no longer be a problem," Mrs Haward thought as she stared in the direction of their room briefly before proceeding to the main door exiting the living room and entering the elevator with the guard.

After a few minutes drive they arrived at a restaurant whose location Mr Wellington sent to her earlier. She got down from the car and walked into the lavish restaurant where she was ushered by a staff to the private room where Mr Wellington was sitting waiting for her.

"You are welcome," Mr Wellington said and got up to greet her.

Some drinks were quickly served and they went straight into their purpose of meeting.

"So let's see what you have," Mr Wellington asked.

Mrs Haward gave the file to him and recalling everything she rehearsed with Mori did a good presentation but Mr Wellington asked two questions and could already tell, Mrs Haward's presentation was rehearsed as it was obvious she didn't even know anything about the business world but he played along.

"I must say your idea is similar to what I have in mind. I like it," Mr Wellington said and Mrs Haward smiled ear to ear.

"So can I say we are now partners on the project?" Mrs Haward asked trying to know her stand.

"I like your idea and I like your presentation. I will have my PA call you by nightfall. I need to go through these documents myself before concluding," Mr Wellington said.

"Sure," Mrs Haward agreed, recalling from a conversation she had with her husband, that Mr Wellington was not the type to agree to something without giving it a second look.

If he praises you, it's a sign he has already accepted your idea and will roll it out. Knowing this, she felt satisfied within. There was a knock on the door and the waiter entered with a tray of food.

"Just on time," Mrs Haward commented and Mrs Haward smiled.

They finished eating and they both left the restaurant with Mr Wellington using a different exit to his car to avoid media attention.

On the way back to his apartment Mr Wellington sent a message to Jason asking him to get ready to move as the plan is now in motion.

Mrs Haward on the other hand was filled with joy as her car drove towards home. When she arrived at the apartment, Mori was the one who came to receive her.

"You are the very person I wanted to see. We are on," Mrs Haward announced and Mori smiled.
