Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 572 370: Sowing Discord

Chapter 572 370: Sowing Discord

Just as Lor was traveling to each Plane Group to guide the Wizards back, in the Second World, within Lord Skyfeather's private Space, the seven Tier Eight powerhouses of Plane Sea No. 758 gathered once more.

However, unlike before, among these seven Tier Eight powerhouses, two had already obtained Law Treasures matching their own Laws, and with a single transformation had become Overlord Level powerhouses.

These two Overlords were the Feather Sky Leader and the Abyssal Sea Throne.

"Everyone."

Seeing that all the leaders of the top large-scale civilizations of Plane Sea No. 758 had arrived, the Feather Sky Leader immediately spoke: "The reason I summoned you here is for one matter only."

"That is to discuss with everyone what we should do with ourselves after the Crystal Domain barrier shatters."

The Abyssal Sea Throne was the first to follow up: "First of all, we need to make one thing clear: between us and that so‑called Giant Source and the Devouring Spirit Race, there is not the slightest possibility of peaceful coexistence."

"There are two reasons. First, the Butterfly Emperor has already expressed in the notice the stance of the Silkworm Dream Civilization toward them."

"As for what happens to those who oppose the Silkworm Dream Civilization, many civilizations have already set an example for us."

"Second, according to the Butterfly Emperor, the Devouring Spirit Race can devour all matter to grow, and the Giant Source can devour the origins of Plane Groups to grow."

"This means that if we leave the Devouring Spirit Race unchecked, they will devour the Plane Groups our races rely on for survival."

"And if we leave the Giant Source unchecked, once the Plane Group origins are devoured by it, our path forward and the possibility for all living beings of our races to achieve Tier Seven will be cut off."

"In summary, does anyone have any objections to the conclusion I've drawn?"

"None."

"We and they truly can only be mortal enemies."

"Agreed."

Including the Feather Sky Leader, all the civilization leaders present nodded one after another in agreement.

"Good, as long as there's no problem." The Abyssal Sea Throne smiled in satisfaction, then said, "Since everyone's goal is the same, why don't we first form an offensive‑defensive Alliance."

"The Feather Sky Leader and I, as Overlords, will sit jointly as Alliance Leaders, while you all will be Vice Alliance Hierarchs, and those remaining large civilizations will be Alliance members."

"If we wish to mobilize the Alliance's power on a large scale to carry out rescues or to besiege Devouring Spirit Race of Giant Source level that have broken into our Plane Sea No. 758 through the Distanceless Spatial Layer, it will require the consent of the Feather Sky Leader and me."

"If the Feather Sky Leader and I disagree, then everyone will vote together to decide. The Feather Sky Leader's and my votes will each count as five, while each of you holds one vote. How about that?"

Its gaze swept past the Feather Sky Leader and then one by one passed over the other Tier Eight powerhouses, its eyes filled with deeper meaning.

"No way!"

Yet at this moment, a being unexpected by the Abyssal Sea Throne vetoed its proposal.

"Why?" The Abyssal Sea Throne cast its gaze toward the Feather Sky Leader and frowned: "I admit, as a Spatial Dominator, within the entire Crystal Domain, aside from the Silkworm Dream Civilization's Managers and the Butterfly Emperor, no one can do anything to you."

"But the methods of the Giant Source and the Devouring Spirit Race are unknown. If they possess means to isolate or solidify Space, do you truly not need support?"

"In terms of frontal combat strength, I am stronger than you."

"You misunderstand me." The Feather Sky Leader shook his head slightly. "What I mean is, have you perhaps forgotten one civilization?"

"Forgot… the Space-Time Transcender?" On the surface, the Abyssal Sea Throne acted as if it had just realized, yet inwardly it lamented the missed opportunity.

If this fellow hadn't pointed it out, afterward it could have privately used this matter to curry favor with that one, draw him in as the third Alliance Leader, and incidentally sow discord between this fellow and that one.

Unfortunately, now it had been spelled out.

Not only had its scheme fallen through, it might even get reported on, a complete loss.

"Did you truly forget, or are you pretending not to remember?" The Feather Sky Leader narrowed his eyes slightly, casting a sidelong glance at the Abyssal Sea Throne, the suspicion in his eyes practically overflowing.

Although that one was only Tier Six, behind him stood the Silkworm Dream Civilization's Managers; he could even get the Manager to alter the long‑running rules of the dueling arena and specially open a trial for him.

Such preferential treatment fully showed how deeply the Manager cherished the Space-Time Transcender.

Moreover, the gains that one had obtained during the recently concluded Supreme Treasure eruption in the Vortex Plane Sea made countless beings envious.

But envy was all they could show; emotions such as jealousy, greed, or resentment could only be buried in their hearts, not daring to reveal the slightest trace.

Let alone taking concrete actions such as robbery or assassination.

No matter how you looked at it, in terms of sense of presence—whether in the eyes of all the Overlords of the entire Crystal Domain, or in the eyes of all informed beings of Plane Sea No. 758—that one was the highest existence under the Manager of the entire Crystal Domain.

And he could forget that?

Who is he fooling?

Yet if one said this guy was doing it on purpose, then what was his goal?

The Feather Sky Leader racked his brains but still couldn't figure it out.

Surely he wasn't trying to target that one, right?

Did this fellow have the guts for that?

"Right, I agree with you and the Feather Sky Leader becoming Alliance Leaders, but the Space-Time Transcender should also be an Alliance Leader." The Golden Divine Monarch, the only Tier Eight of a Faith System in Plane Sea No. 758, immediately chimed in.

"Agreed. If the Abyssal Sea Throne won't let the Space-Time Transcender be an Alliance Leader, then I won't join this offensive‑defensive Alliance either." the Ash Dragon followed up.

"Seconded."

"Same here."

"Right!"

The remaining three leaders of top large-scale civilizations in Plane Sea No. 758 echoed in support.

Under normal circumstances, they would never dare sing a different tune from the newly ascended Overlord that was the Abyssal Sea Throne.

After all, cultivating to their current level was no easy feat. If they truly angered this one, their lives would be more or less forfeit.

But times had changed; when it came to the Space-Time Transcender, they all dared to talk back twice, certain that this guy wouldn't dare act recklessly.

Strong as you are, are you stronger than the Manager?

You're not?

Then behave yourself!

"I simply forgot!"

The Abyssal Sea Throne linked with the Tier Eight Law Treasure within its body; a vast aura erupted from him as he stared at the several Tier Eight civilization leaders who were jumping about so merrily, and said, "If the Space-Time Transcender is willing to join the Alliance and become one of the Alliance Leaders, I of course would be more than happy."

"I'm even willing, once he breaks through to Tier Eight, to support doubling the weight of his vote, so that one of his votes will count as ten, as a sign of respect."

"Fine, then it's settled." The Feather Sky Leader nodded slightly. "I'll try to contact the Space-Time Transcender and ask for his opinion."

"Alright." The Abyssal Sea Throne nodded sullenly, in a thoroughly foul mood.

The other Tier Eight civilization leaders also had no objections and tacitly accepted the Feather Sky Leader's proposal.

By the twentieth minute after the announcement was issued, Lor had gone through all Plane Groups where Wizards existed, retrieving as many Wizards engaged in external expansion as possible, as well as those genius Wizards born in those Plane Groups.

At this moment, the Wizard Plane Group had already reached the point of being bursting with people.

Above every Plane floated countless warships of all colors, while the ground and Floating Cities were packed full of Wizards.

As for the subsequent arrangements, Lor had no time to intervene further and entrusted them entirely to Francis and the other councilors.

He now had more important matters to attend to—namely, attempting to contact Blood to see whether he could obtain detailed intelligence on the Giant Source and the Devouring Spirit Race in advance.

In addition, there was one more matter of utmost importance: whether the Tier Nine powerhouses of the other two Domains would intervene in the coming war.
