Witcher: Master Kiliman’s Grand Ambitions

Chapter 3: The Foolish Peasants

Chapter 3: The Foolish Peasants

It was a pleasant evening.

Kiriman not only took out his specially made soap for Madam Judith to cleanse her body, enhancing the fragrance of the meal.

He even specially brought out his treasured game meat and alcohol to entertain this beautiful woman and replenish her stamina.

After all, this was quite physically demanding work.

Judith tried her best to satisfy every request, making it impossible not to become addicted.

Several hours passed until the night outside the window faded, revealing the fish-belly white of dawn, marking the end of this special cultivation session.

Through continuous tempering, Kiriman's soul had become more refined, and even his spiritual energy had improved somewhat.

Looking at the petite widow who had fallen unconscious, Kiriman let out a long sigh and mischievously kneaded her body a few more times.

When she only moaned slightly without any signs of waking, he finally dressed and went outside to breathe the fresh air.

By now, his advancement progress had reached eight percent.Unfortunately, there was still a long way to go before reaching one hundred percent.

He pushed open the door and stepped into Judith's courtyard. The rightful source is novel※fire.net

Before Kiriman could even take a proper breath to disperse the various bodily fluid smells, his keen witcher vision detected several sneaky figures hiding behind a large tree not far from the courtyard, observing with clearly malicious intent.

Noticing his gaze and realizing they couldn't hide anymore, three men dressed in fur clothing soon emerged from behind the tree.

The leader was a vicious-looking middle-aged man around thirty or forty years old, with messy facial hair, bronze skin, and a scar from some beast's claw across his face that made him appear quite intimidating.

Behind this vicious man stood two burly fellows who somewhat resembled him - one holding a hand axe, the other carrying a wooden bow - both staring at Kiriman in the courtyard with ill intent.

Facing these hostile gazes, Kiriman showed no fear. Though he wore no armor and carried no weapon, he calmly observed the approaching trio with the detached look one might give to ants, silently speculating about their identities and purpose.

Three similarly-featured men, likely related by blood, physically strong, armed, with archery skills.

These obvious characteristics immediately reminded Kiriman of the list of potential suspects Judith had provided last night before their passionate battle - with the most suspicious being the three hunter brothers who lived by the woods.

These village bachelors and longtime troublemakers were notorious for their low character and barbaric manners. Rumor had it they had all once had wives who either ran away or died under mysterious circumstances.

Ever since Judith came to this village, the hunter brothers had lusted after her. Especially after her husband's death, the eldest brother had once attempted to force himself on her, only to be stopped by other village men.

However, since the brothers made their living as hunters, knew how to use weapons, and were physically stronger than ordinary villagers, few dared to confront them even when they were clearly in the wrong.

Considering the animal carcasses buried in the orchard - something ordinary villagers would neither spare nor easily obtain - Kiriman was almost certain these hunter brothers were the likely culprits.

They had motive, capability, and were now lurking near the crime scene during the investigation.

Wasn't the conclusion obvious?

As these thoughts ran through his mind, the eldest hunter brother stopped just a few meters away from Kiriman.

His ugly face twisted with jealousy and hatred as he stared at the handsome witcher who wore only a thin shirt - clearly having just risen from a widow's bed - and spoke venomously:

"I always said that slut Judith was a shameless whore."

"But I never imagined her taste would be this low."

"To actually sleep with a filthy-blooded mutant witcher she barely met."

"Adulterous scum like you two should be tied up and burned to ashes in Eternal Fire's flames."

"Disgusting mutant, I advise you not to resist. Otherwise, before burning you, I'll make sure to put a few good holes in you with my knife."
