Chapter 586 - 585: Wanting Her (Part 2)

Chapter 586 - 585: Wanting Her (Part 2)

It was Carla Carr’s first time entering Alexander Kingsley’s office.Very serious, but... at the moment, it wasn’t just serious; there seemed to be an added hint of ambiguity.

"Admiral’s wife, did you miss me?" He suddenly leaned closer, his hot breath spilling onto her face. Before she could speak, he said, "Hold me."

It sounded like a request, but it was actually a command.

When he became domineering, it was completely irresistible.

Once upon a time, she so longed for Alexander Kingsley to be domineering to her, hoping that in retaliation, he would want her unreservedly.

But now that these things had come to pass, she felt a bit like backing off because she felt he was becoming increasingly charismatic, that kind of doubling effect that would draw one in deeply, unable to extricate themselves.

Carla Carr noticed his throat bob slightly, very sexy.

Alright.

She stood on her tiptoes, extended her arms, and wrapped them around his neck; Alexander, with his military background, was truly very tall.

Although she wasn’t short, she appeared incredibly petite in front of him.

"Look at me," he commanded.

Carla Carr didn’t understand what he wanted to do, but obediently met his gaze.

Her gaze intertwined with his eyes in the air, and at that moment, there seemed to be electricity, warming the heart.

Before she realized it, he suddenly kissed her, his large hands gripping her small waist, lifting her directly to straddle his hips.

His arms were strong, providing a tremendous sense of security.

He hadn’t wanted her for several days, and now with her like this, how could he resist?

So, just like that, he pressed her onto the desk and forcefully took what he desired.

...

Meanwhile.

Eva Nightingale slept until daylight, turned over, and habitually reached to the bedside to find it empty.

She had been accustomed to sleeping in a warm embrace; now, suddenly without it, she felt uncomfortable, as if something was missing.

She opened her eyes.

Still half-asleep, she suddenly opened her eyes and noticed the pillow next to her remained unindented, confirming she had indeed slept alone last night.

"Awake."

As soon as she opened her eyes, a cold voice came from above, followed by a gentle kiss on her forehead, light as a dragonfly’s touch.

He lightly kissed her, just on the forehead.

As soon as the words fell, he felt a pair of fair arms wrap around his neck, clinging tighter and tighter.

"Baby, what’s wrong?" He naturally wrapped his arms around her back, gently caressing and comforting her through the nightgown.

Eva did not speak, snuggling in his arms for a while before he realized his chest’s garment was damp... had she cried? What was the reason this time?

"Baby, is something feeling uncomfortable?" He asked as he suddenly held her tighter, ready to head to the hospital; damn it, it must be her stomach discomfort, otherwise why would she cry!

"What are you doing, put me down quickly." She finally found her voice, "Lucas, quickly put me down..."

Lucas, Lucas. She called his name so tenderly.

He abruptly halted his steps, complying with her every request: "Alright, I’ll put you down now."

Upon landing, beneath her feet was the soft, thick Persian carpet.

Originally, he thought she would immediately push him away, but instead, she hugged his waist and said, "It really hurts."

Hearing the word ’hurt,’ the happiness in his brow immediately faded entirely.
