Chapter 361: Betting on Nanny Warren’s Conscience

Blaze glanced at Eliza Hayes and, seeing that the lady didn’t outright forbid him, handed the medicine bowl to Nanny Warren, essentially tossing her a hot potato.

Nanny Warren steadily took it, her cold gaze always fixed on Faye Turner’s face!

Holding the medicine bowl, Nanny Warren sternly told the men, "All of you, leave! Let her go!"

Seeing no objection from the lady, they released Faye and stepped aside. Nanny Warren steadily held the bowl, squatting down in front of Faye Turner, "Don’t be nervous, drink it and you’ll be free."

Although Eliza Vance believed Nanny Warren was on her side, she still worried something might go wrong, so she kept staring at her without blinking!

Faye’s eyes were filled with hatred as she looked at the two, "Man proposes, but God disposes. Adrian won’t let you get away with this!"

The next second, Nanny Warren leaned in and with a hatred-filled look in her eyes!

She whispered softly into her ear, "Miss Turner, I switched it to a prenatal tonic, drink it."

Without waiting for Faye’s reaction, she tipped the bowl to her lips and gripped her chin, "Drink! Don’t waste time!"

Faye was being forced to drink the medicine, meeting Nanny Warren’s complicated gaze, they looked into each other eyes. She didn’t know if what she said could be trusted, but she could only gamble.

Once the herbal medicine was downed, Faye slumped to the ground.

Nanny Warren stood up and left.

Eliza Hayes finally breathed a sigh of relief, this child was inevitably going to be lost.

Eliza stared coldly at her.

With that, Nanny Warren helped Faye up, "You can go now."

Eliza Hayes coldly said, "I won’t have anyone send you; you take a cab and leave. No matter what you take from home, make sure to be on that 4 PM flight, find an excuse to go!"
