When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster

Chapter 349: Persuading Her to Initiate Divorce

Chapter 349: Persuading Her to Initiate Divorce

"I wonder what the purpose is for Miss Dawson asking me out today?" Faye Turner’s face was gentle, "No need to beat around the bush, we’re all quite busy, so why not just get to the point?"

Sienna took a few photos out of her bag, leaned forward, and handed them to her, "How about taking a look at these?"

Faye took them with both hands, flipping through them calmly, the setting seemed a bit familiar.

"It was right here." Sienna picked up her cup, sipped her coffee with a hint of smugness and said, "Adrian sat where you’re sitting now."

"What does this prove?" Faye raised her eyes to look at her, genuinely puzzled.

Sitting in the photos were two people, with no intimate actions, not even any gentleness on Adrian’s face, just a bit cold.

Even through the photos, Faye could sense that kind of alienation.

Sienna boasted, "A date, which means he came to meet me, and likely kept it from you, right?"

"Actually, he didn’t hide it." Faye politely returned the photos, "You should keep these well. After all, he’s so busy, the number of times you can get him out will only decrease. When you miss the past, looking at the photos is nice, as at least you have some memories."

Damn!

How could she be so magnanimous?!

Sienna’s face was a bit embarrassed, clearly at a disadvantage, but she tried hard to stay calm, asking, "Faye, do you know what Adrian told me that day?"

"What did he say?" Faye picked up her coffee cup and also took a sip elegantly and calmly, as if inquiring about something unrelated to her.

Sienna chuckled, a bit smugly asking, "Do you know how the ’Eternal Glance’ jewelry series came about?"

Faye’s expression didn’t change, but her heart was stabbed with a pang.

"It’s Adrian’s promise to me, he said that someday, he would design a piece of jewelry for the girl he loves the most, and call it ’Eternal Glance.’"

This reason, Faye truly had no way to refute, because it was indeed the truth.

"And then?" Faye asked gently, wanting to hear more.

"What more? Isn’t it already obvious? He’s never let go of me!" Sienna thought Faye was being dense, not grasping the meaning between the lines!

Seeing the other party’s somewhat agitated and speechless appearance, Faye remained calm, smiling silently, she lifted her cup and took a sip of coffee.

Then glanced at the phone placed face down at the table corner.

"Faye, he doesn’t love you at all!" Sienna was a bit agitated, bluntly saying, "It’s just because you look a bit like me that he married you! Now that I’m back, I hope you can willingly step aside!"

"Hmm." Faye wasn’t rushed at all, nodding thoughtfully, she lightly asked, "Is this Adrian’s intention?"

Sienna didn’t know how to respond.

Faye sat with a dignified and elegant posture and said, "If this were Adrian’s intention, with his status and position, he wouldn’t need to consider anything in doing anything, so he could directly tell me, rather than through you."

"He married you, but his heart is with me. Can you bear that?" Sienna deliberately provoked her, "If you divorce him, you can get a portion of his wealth, live the rest of your life worry-free, and might even find true love."

Faye smiled gently, just looking at the girl sitting across from her, urgently aiming to take her place.

She was thinking, how did Adrian Lancaster ever see anything in her? Like a clown, and not even a very skilled one.

"Think it over." Sienna took another sip of coffee, "You’re just a stand-in, the one he loves is me."

"Alright." Faye smiled, "I’ll consider it, I’ll discuss the divorce with Adrian when I get home."

Hearing this, Sienna furrowed her brows, "What do you mean by ’discuss with him’?"
