When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster

Chapter 336: President Lancaster’s Subjective Will

Chapter 336: President Lancaster’s Subjective Will

The lethal power of the First Love is something Dustin Shepherd knows best.

Even after all these years, just seeing from afar, he still likes her, even though she’s married now.

On his drive home, Adrian Lancaster’s face, cold and elegant to the extreme, sank deeper, his thoughts turning complex.

He left back then because he’d been diagnosed with a terminal illness; he didn’t want to burden her...

At that time, Adrian Lancaster’s identity hadn’t been made public at school, only Evan Sharp knew, so Sienna had to gather funds for the medical expenses on her own, without reaching out to him.

Truly touching.

At the same time, it filled Adrian Lancaster with guilt.

When he returned home, his thoughts receded.

Faye Turner personally cooked a bowl of dumplings for him, then sat opposite him in the dining room to accompany him while he ate.

"How’s the taste?" She asked with a lovely smile, "Is it fresh?"

Adrian Lancaster ate the dumplings and gave high praise, "I was just feeling a bit hungry and was thinking of eating dumplings."

When he entered the house, Miss Lane had already told him that his wife had made them by hand.

"What a coincidence?" Faye chuckled sweetly, her voice soft, "Or is President Lancaster getting better at talking?"

Adrian Lancaster smiled at her without answering, simply picked up a dumpling and blew on it, then offered it to her lips, "Come, have a taste?"

Faye Turner had eaten dinner and just drank maternity milk, so she didn’t cook any for herself.

But the aroma and watching others eat made her want to have a taste too.

She accompanied him lazily like a little cat, he even saw through her thoughts.

"It shouldn’t burn your mouth, come, have one." He said patiently.

This small gesture surprised Faye Turner but more so, delighted her.

So she quickly opened her mouth, took the dumpling he offered, and chewed carefully, thinking it was the best dumpling she’d ever tasted.

And Adrian Lancaster didn’t mind her having tasted it, continued eating the dumplings in the bowl, while praising, "My wife’s cooking is really good."

Even though Faye Turner smiled, gazing at him warmly, her heart was still a bit heavy.

Mr. Kerr’s instructions occasionally echoed in her ears.

These past few days, Adrian seems like a changed person; is it because of Sienna Dawson’s appearance?

He doesn’t want to divorce in his conscious mind, but he may not be able to control his heart, so he’s trying to lean towards family?

No matter the reason, Faye Turner accepts it and welcomes him and his heart home.

She will do her best to be a good wife, to make him feel the warmth of family.

Just as Adrian Lancaster picked up the last dumpling and put it in his mouth, Faye Turner said, "I want to eat one too."

He was slightly stunned, but the dumpling was already half bitten in his mouth, the other half still outside.

So Adrian Lancaster put down his chopsticks, got up, walked around the dining table, and leaned down beside her.

Faye Turner guessed his intention, held her breath, slightly tilted her head, brought her rosy lips closer to him, and gently bit off the other half of the dumpling.

Their lips lightly touched, a current surged into both their hearts, she felt very happy.

An hour later, as Faye Turner stepped out after bathing, Adrian Lancaster proactively helped her dry her hair and then brought out the hairdryer.

Being completely considerate.

And Faye Turner cooperated well, because she wanted to hold on to this man.

"Thank you, husband." She wrapped her arms around his waist, gently pressing her cheek against his chest.

After drying her hair and putting down the hairdryer, she tiptoed to kiss his lips.

Adrian Lancaster responded sincerely, holding her nape in return.

"Faye."

"Hmm?"

"Whether it’s a boy or a girl, I will love them." As the kiss ended, Adrian Lancaster’s gaze fell on her slightly swollen abdomen, his voice gentle as a loving father.
